Sorry to interrupt the GTS talk, but I saw this today. Sorry it's on my Facebook feed since you can't upload video straight to GTP. Best sounding race car I've ever heard in person. He said after this test session that he was 2 seconds faster per lap than his best and they were on worn tires. All because of the new pavement.

Straight Music! Awesome sound when a high revving big engine car rolls through.

On the subject of GTS, I like everything I'm reading, and have all the faith that Poly is going to deliver. Also, I do not think this is a rush job, but a "GT7" lite....it's own game to keep things fresh and exciting, but also a testing bed for GT7. Kaz obviouly realized the disasterous time frame that fell between GT4 and GT5, and rather than exclude portions of the game due to deadlines, or rushing it to market, gave us what looks to be a great game in and of itself to keep us busy, while the big GT7 comes to completion. I'm excited for November to roll around. Got the wheel, now just to get the PS4 before then.

Hey I would like to join you guys I got an invite from y'all

@Brschenkel

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Are new members eligible to create Practice lobbies? I work late weekdays, and by the time I come home there's usually no one hosting a room within the club community menu. Ive just been hotlapping all 3 tracks by myself this week, but really want to get in some practice with other cars on the track. I'm thinking of creating a room late tonight in hopes someone might also be on and want to practice, if that's allowed. I'm already a club member within the game and have submitted the new driver time trial. And I suppose I would use the same settings as the race day lobby, but set as a time trial for practice? Thanks

For sure, create the room and post it's open here. Others who are around may join and you earn shells

Edit: create the room with Sunday settings ,most times you'll see rooms running the practice/race setting , occasionally the qualifier. Also Thursdays is official practice at 930est , last night it was a packed house:cheers:

What time do you usually get on? I'll get on later tonight with you if you want.

Thanks for the offer. I'm on the west coast, probably around midnight. I'll post the room # here when I host it. No worries if you can't, I know its late for people especially on the east coast. I'll look for some lobbies tomorrow when I dont have work 👍

We have people from east to west, north to south, including europe posting a room is always the best course of action.

Cool, we'll probably already have a room going so just check the SNAIL tab under community.

PAPA MANGO'S REPORT

HEy hey hey every one all right? Well it has been quite a while since I posted Papa Mango's report or highlights so here is something to wet your appetite SNAILiens.

I chose the FGT combo as they was a very interesting combo which grew on me by the end of the night and on hind sight it is sad to go even though I voted it off lol.
It brought a new and challenging dynamic to the race. It was all about conserving your tires . In race 1 of round 3 I did just that but ended up being swamped by T1 and dropped to the back but managed to drive consistently to finish 3rd by the end of the race. In race 2 I tried doing the same but found myself caught up in a racing incident and new the race would be much more difficult than race 1 as i had scrubbed my tires so earl and it showed in the race when I spun out in lap 5 i think and from then on it no longer felt lie driving on ice but ice with an oil spill. This time the music is from the British genre called Garage and some cinematic music . i tried to make it as short as possible but with all the excitement on track it is slightly longer than usual so thank you for giving me your attention for the next Hope you enjoy as always .
minutes or so lol
So welcome to all new drivers, welcome to the best league on gtplanet hands down and a smack down if you disagree:mad::mad:

SO WITH NO FURTHER DUES DRUM ROLL PLEASE BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....
[PS PARENTAL GUIDANCE ADVISED IF YOU DO NOT LET YOU KIDS LISTEN TO RAP]

I can join your group?
