The
SNAIL Stats Web App
is up-to-update!
Notes:
-The way the stats are calculated has been completely reconfigured so that the app now automatically updates once everyday (shortly after 3 AM ET).
-Don't forget that you can see more detailed stats and driver rankings in the SNAIL Consolidated Stats spreadsheet if you wish. There's a link to the spreadsheet at the bottom of the app after you select a driver from the dropdown.
-If you don't understand what a stat means, check out the Stats Glossary.
-Keep in mind that you might actually have earned more poles, best laps, etc. than is shown if there's been one or more nights in which all the data for your division wasn't entered. Also, in some of the early months of SNAIL we didn't collect as much data as we do now.
-Let me know if you notice any problems or mistakes.

Congrats to @racingchamp30 and @Xradkins on joining the 10,000 points club since the stats were last updated! @nmcp1 and @socalnatv are just one night of racing away from joining the club themselves.

Agree SS tires may be too grippy. However, it's cat and mouse with untuned cars, so the tires help a bit. After all, we are drivers of different abilities and lesser tires may amplify this. Maybe weak boost will help some of the players keep up with there mice.

An idea for a really slow combo of cars could be the Fiat 500 R '72 (226pp) for mouse and the Fiat Coupe Turbo Plus '00 (416pp) for car
We might have to branch out to something else under the Fiat brand umbrella for the wildcard seeing as the Fiat Coupe is the fastest car in the lineup.

Why does everyone want the wild dog to be a faster car? Last night @GTP_Ph7shr was in a race car and simply blew my doors off to take out my mouse. No way I could compete against it. IMO the wild dog should be the same as the cats.
 it was great fun last night! The first 2 times I was the Wild Cat or Wild Dog ect. I think I just not killed a few mouses but certainly a few cats. It was great! Lots of fun!

Goodluck to everyone tonight in their divisional Racing! 👍

Personally, I think that's what makes having the "wild" car be a race car so fun. I think not being able to avoid it is exactly the point. It adds even more unpredictability to the whole thing. The last time I played C&M and was the "wildcat" I also chose a race car which I used to equally screw with everybody. It made for an exciting event.

Did anyone watch the Xfinity Sprint Cup race at Mid-Ohio yesterday? NASCAR is finally realizing people enjoy watching them on road courses just as much as ovals if not more so now. The crowd at the Indy 500 this year was a record low in many years or something like that. Road course provide such a greater challenge for these cars and the drivers that have to drive them.

This race started with rain, then dried out enough for slicks, then went back to rain in the last 10 or so laps. Cars off left and right, drifting through turns, it was a blast to watch. These cars weigh as much as a road car but with 700+ horsepower. So much fun to watch. It was like an F1 race at Silverstone or Spa.

Sorry I missed Cat & Mouse! @Die_Birdy_Die @Rallywagon along with @Lessen and a few others tried to Cat & Mouse on Tuesday or Wednesday nights a long time ago. Timing matters for all other SNAIL events, but also with the newness of the game's release. As GT6 (GT 5.5...) is facing the next iteration for PS4, after release there may be a crowd. With talk of 'driver conduct' as part of the overall view, you would have to be able to shut that off for a specific lobby or you would face some huge negatives for driving Cat and Mouse style...

congrats @Nicktune , third place in the gtplanet GT3 challenge.
Thanks!
It was my first time using a wheel in GT3. The physics is better than I thought.

The car (Castrol Supra) feels much heavier (like the car had an extra 350-400kg) than it's GT5/6 counterpart, you really feel it in the chicaines. It feels less responsive for that reason.

The wheel is heavy too...There's no adjustments for the Force feedback, it's maxed out.

What I didn't like:You can't turn off the driving assists (TCS/ASM) when the wheel is plugged in.

Nope. Historic sellout crowd at the 2016 Indy 500. A verifiable fact.

Edit - Ninja'd

Don't kill his dreams with verifiable facts.

IMO NASCAR should do the RC at Indy instead of the Brickyard 400; which seems like a repeat of the 500. They should also add a RC in the chase.

I watched the whole race at the Glenn and it was indeed fun to watch.

@Handlebar
Going to shoot for something regular for Friday nights given that currently there are no other events.

Last night we had a blast with 13 SNAILs after practice. And we did 3 races at Nurburgring and a couple at GV.

Added link on my sig fo the C&M page

But then that'd mean the road course ringers would have a chance to move past the second round! Then ratings would drop because the favourite to win the cup got eliminated because they only know how to wheel around an oval

Could the ratings possibly drop any further?

I was a die-hard from 2004 to about 2014. Then they just got more stupid every year. I haven't watched one race this year.

All hosts should start tonight's racing at the scheduled time. The only reason to wait would be if someone who was already in the room disconnected and you are giving them the required 3 minutes to rejoin.
