Dude, I'm not being snotty, I'm being as respectful as possible. He asked if I wanted to join and I explained why I wouldn't. Fair enough

Believe it or not... being the Mouse can teach you a lot of defensive techniques. And since the Mouse is now with fair tires, it is definitely more challenging.

Anyway, C&M is to have fun and let all loose! You can still race and get competitive.

This has been on my mind since I read it yesterday. I have to ask DP, do you practice being logically inconsistent, does it come naturally or is it chemically induced?;) :P :D A week or so ago you made a point that you'd raced off the LCL, 3 times. How does one get on the LCL in the first place?

While it might not be your intent to race "dirty", your record in SNAIL thus far is less than exemplary in that regard. Keep in mind here, intent is akin to opinion in that everyone has "one". Intent matters little. Actions and results are what counts.

I'm being earnestly sincere here DP, you should seriously consider taking up the game of chess. If you learn to play it well enough it will teach you how to recognize consequences. If you get really good at chess, you'll be able to recognize not just immediate reactions to your actions but inevitable conclusions. The concept of recognizing what could happen, then picking the path that leads to the best outcome, can be applied to every aspect of life. "Winning" isn't always the best outcome either.

</sensei mode>

That is exactly what crossed my mind yesterday but decided to leave it along as to not cause more drama and being called a names for trying to rationalize Penguin Logic.

I can 100% say he's correct, you have to be very aware of your surroundings, know your opponents and what they like to do. It can actually help you come to race day, you'll know everyone, all their little tricks and be one step ahead of them... Except @SAMHAIN85 , forget about trying to avoid him he's too OP.

I got a quick question for all you. I'm in the market for a new headset and was gonna ask you all what you guys think works best
My only requirements are that it has to be
Surround Sound
On the cheaper side of things
Works for PS3 and PS4

But will it work for both, not to sound rude, but that is one of those things it kinda needs to have.
as long as it has a stereo jack it will work on the PS4. I bought the silver Playstations muffs. I wouldn't recommend them same as try to find hardwired as opposed to blue tooth nothing worse than having your phones die mid way threw a gaming session. Personnal I would suggest saving up for the mid level phones.

I know it isn't a Turtle Beach but have you heard anything bad about the Logitech G933 Headset?
Also my budget is around $100 no more than $120

FYI: The P11 will work with PS4 even without the upgrade kit. I do use the upgrade kit when I use the PS4 though. It utilizes the PS4s optical output and ensures that the headphone's audio mixing works properly (game and chat volumes are separate adjustments)

What of this upgrade kit?
Sorry I am very clueless when it come to headsets

But you can't quickly switch it from PS4 to PS3, can you? That's what I encountered when trying to use the upgrade on my TB PX22 Headset. I may look into whatever @Jakedog23 gets as I would like a good PS4 headset that allows level controls.

It's just an adapter. Little box you plug into the PS4 USB and optical (digital) audio. You then plug the headphones USB (power) and mini plug (audio signal) into it. its another 35 bucks you don't necessarily have to have, but it's nice. For me it was a no brainer because I already had the headphones before the PS4. Your buying situation is a bit different.

I keep the adapter plugged into my PS4 full time. Literally all I do is unplug the two headphone leads from the adapter (which is inches from the PS4) and plug them into my PS3 and tv output line.

Just the other day I decided it was time to get a headset, and @Raw10_2u had recommended the PX22 a few months back. I called my local Game Stop and they had a factory refurbished one for $50, so I ran over and bought it. Seems great so far. I checked into PS4 compatibility and apparently it's doable as others have stated. If I have some time tomorrow I may try to hook it up to my PS4 and if I do I'll let you know.

Do you guys use camelcamelcamel.com? It is the best website to track Amazon prices, if you look at the graph here:

You can see the price history of any amazon product. Looking at the graph the price just rose all the way up from April till now.

If you guys are good in studying graphs, here's the link: http://camelcamelcamel.com/Turtle-Beach-Amplified-Headset-Playstation-3/product/B00E5UHSXI

@Jakedog23 My guess is that if you wait a little longer the price may drop to 37$ or so.

The adapter is at a good price though, but I don't think it'll go any lower because it's been around that price range since January.

Man, DesertChicken, you can suck the fun out of anything. C+M is FUN. It's all about fun without the pressure of fighting for points. I also find the tomfoolery rooms that Card, me and Aero set up teach us so much about how the car handles when it's out of shape. And from what I have seen in PCars, you need all the help offered to improve.

Again though, leave the snotty comments to yourself. Bad Chicken, go lie down and think about it. Wakawakawak.
