Great night yes @MajorBlixem Thank you all had fun .Congrats @GTLehman on another win great job
replays are in the D4 public folder
Thanks for the fun night to everyone in D4. These combos kept us on our toes!

@singlepaddy - thanks for the fantastic pictures! I know Canada is s beautiful place. I've only been to Belleville, ON during autumn, but it was gorgeous.

I haven't read the page in awhile, I just keep it bookmarked for one of those "eventually" purchases.

Brakes are the usual pad kind. Separate front and rear. Traditional basic Mongoose 16" mountain bike with hard suspension.
I don't know what to tell you if the brakes can't be moved a bit to the correct side. I would possibly suggest making sure that your wheel is on straight if it's removable. I only have a TREK cruiser, so as always - hope this helps.

Just got back from a 3 hour mountain bike ride. It was such a beautiful day I thought I'd share some pics with you all. This is mostly directed towards @GTLehman and @basswerks1 Just to show you guys that we get a little taste of paradise around here to...at least for about 4 months out of the year anyway.

Btw now that I've been called up to the "Big Show" for my month long spankin. I'm gonna miss all you guys in d4
I had a blast racing with you all and I noticed a lot of you have gotten much faster in the time I've been there. Great job everyone!!! 👍

Awesome pics!,!
I actually lol'ed so hard at the last one my wife wanted to know what was funny.
I really enjoyed these.

@GTLehman I'm watching the news and the said Hurricane Madeline is gonna hit the southern parts of the main Hawaii islands on Thursday. There's another one right behind it too. Be safe dude, hope you have internet for racing :)

Thank you very much DP!
I will be out of town unfortunately, I wish I could be here in case it hits hard, especially for my wahine. Current forecasts show it passing south of Kaua'i (we're about 300 miles northwest of the Big Island which is the southernmost). It can always turn though so it could end up coming right over turning farther away.
Fortunately September is supposed to be the end of hurricane season. It's been pretty mild this year, last year it seemed like there was a new threat every week or two, but they all missed us mostly.

Remember the Labor Day Weekend Race is coming up this Sunday. The latest driver signups are here. Please go to there and signup in the thread. I'll keep track and post an update from time to time.

The in-game race time will start at 6:30 am and I will run a 9X or 10X time progression so we will be finishing just before dark.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Shelby Cobra 427 S/C Chrome Line (Sports: Soft) at Grand Valley East / Reverse (10 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Ricky_Blayz wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Audi R8 Race Car '01 (Racing: Medium) at Indianapolis Road Course (9 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @OscarMorales gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @GTLehman so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

... um wrong results

Asseto Corsa first thoughts.

Just gonna say it right off, I don't think we will be using this for league racing! From what I could tell, there is very little you can set up for a race, it seems you pick car and track and take the default settings, I couldn't even find a way to set amount of laps or qualy time. Hopefully I missed something. About the only thing the same as pc is you can invite friends, rm number is the same at 16. No private setting though.

I played for about 2 1/2 hrs just now. As the reviews have noted, I agree that the driving experience itself is the best so far. The physics are really good. I actually found the cars I tried to be easier to drive than in pcars, but more realistic. They are very easy to control with the factory standard TC and ABS on, but way more realistic feeling with all aids off. Sounds are good, and thank god you can turn the tire noise down. The track itself is very good as well, the surface and immediate surroundings are more realistic than pcars. Other than that the graphics are not nearly as good though. AI is the best yet, even in easy mode it was a good fight.

The menu is very easy to navigate but I only tried the race menu, the other two were events and career modes, but I didn't have time to check them out. Tuning section is about the same level as pcars with a very easy setup menu. Car selection is ok, same with tracks, but both don't have as much as pcars. The biggest complaint I have, other than online settings, is your wheel set up, as in there isn't any, you get what you get, two options for your controls, thats it, nowhere near the freedom of choice we get with pcars. Will wait to hear from different wheel users to see if it's the same.

I realize I was only on for 2 1/2 hours, but I think it gave me a good feel for what to expect. At this point, and until I can get online with a couple of friends, I think I might have wasted my money. I hope I feel differently after some more sessions.

If PCars2 makes good improvements in their weaker areas, then I don't see AC being very successful, and now that we have no idea when GTSport is being released (other than 2017) I don't think we have much choice for now. With yet another delay from PD, GTSport had better be the best darn sim we've seen yet!!

On a side note, there is a very good chance that something is going to happen this week that I don't recall ever happening in SNAIL. We will have to wait and see if it happens but if I had to guess, I would say it's probably about a 99% certainty. When / if it happens, very few SNAILs will even know about it.

Well, did it happen and what was it?
