Just got back from a 3 hour mountain bike ride. It was such a beautiful day I thought I'd share some pics with you all. This is mostly directed towards @GTLehman and @basswerks1 Just to show you guys that we get a little taste of paradise around here to...at least for about 4 months out of the year anyway.

Btw now that I've been called up to the "Big Show" for my month long spankin. I'm gonna miss all you guys in d4
I had a blast racing with you all and I noticed a lot of you have gotten much faster in the time I've been there. Great job everyone!!! 👍

Mountain biking>>>>>>>>>road biking.

There are trails for all skill levels here and they are quite extensive. Best part is even though I live in a modest sized city I can hop on my bike and be in the bush in about 10 mins. It's the best of both worlds.
That's Canada for you, unless you live in 'Trona ;)

I haven't read the page in awhile, I just keep it bookmarked for one of those "eventually" purchases.

Brakes are the usual pad kind. Separate front and rear. Traditional basic Mongoose 16" mountain bike with hard suspension.

So non disc... Rides on the rim

Spray some WD-40 on them, making sure to get the pad surface nice and damp, should correct itself after a few hard stops...

It was entirely a joke, thought it was common sense NOT to put slippery substances on brakes. Same reason why tire shine bottles have warnings and directions that tell you not to spray the stuff on the tread. It wouldn't ruin your bike, you just wouldn't be able to stop very effectively. If something did get on your brakes, Brake clean and a clean rag will dry up anything on there. Purely in jest, never was it my intention to harm you or your bike, sorry!

Well yea not on the pads but I thought you meant on the moving parts. I was genuinely asking and you joked without a sign of showing it, just some "...." which usually shows rude tone or something negative. No harm no foul, just use some smileys next time. I've been accused of the same exact thing multiple times. Without smileys anything can happen. 👍
