I am about to order a PS4 for same-day delivery... do I also need a new wheel, or does the G27 work with PS4?
Yes for the PS4 you would need a new wheel

Cars seem very expensive - most are 300k+, very few under 100k.
This is the new norm. Sell you a "full " game, but price whatever it is you need to play, be it cars, guns, ammo, items, what have you, so stupid high that the in game economy isn't enough. This in turn forces the consumer into buying in game currency with real currency, to keep up with everyone else.
Only this time, I don't think there will be a VGT glitch too exploit, so the greed will win this time.
As far as experience earnings and car acquisitions,...do all of them transfer over to the real game? Im racin, if anyone is on. I'm schmedVegas
I am trying the CRONUS set up - more technical than expected. I think I need to adjust one or two settings on something.
While messing around on an Arcade mode, I couldn't figure out why the car was braking/downshifting, even trying to turn... there is some sort of "Assisted driving" - or something - that essentially tries to teach you to drive? Once I turned it off, it worked better. I'll have to play with the settings more - very mushy tire feel, car plowed a great deal and depending on how I feathered brakes or throttle, it could turn easily sometimes, and others it wallowed. I'm sure it will improve as I figure out what I need to do.
Livery editor first draft - the top two was the default Rally Car I started with. I modified my own car's color and tested out my next vinyl design and number style a bit. I have track outlines on driver's side currently and I'm adding other decals on the passenger side. Oh - and I want to go with "121" once we go to GTS. Nice having more # to choose from.
The Red and black Atenza was a gift car for finishing the first 8-9 Driver's Training courses with all golds. I don't know if you need to finish them, or get all golds to get the free car. I just played around with a few of the decals and went with "tacky DE Car" style in the spirit of AER or Chumpcar. Nice feature - paint and decals are free.

The Livery Editor is a slow/steep learning curve for me. Never did figure out hot to put 36 on the car.
I'm on my way home from Pittsburgh International Race Complex and it was a disappointing weekend. Yesterday, we battled with a faulty alternator, turbo hoses, messed up rear brakes and twice for a broken throttle cable bracket. My brother was able to race for around an hour before the bracket broke the first time. After we fixed that, I went out for the first of 3 separate stints broken up by some of those above mentioned issues.
While the car was running, it was very fast. I was able to run a handful of laps in the 2:04 range, with a fast lap of 2:04.157, good for 6th fastest lap of the race.
Today, we were optimistic and we were as high as 4th place overall, before a turbo hose came off again. Then at 70 minutes into the race, the forged rods didn't want to be contained any longer. A new hole was created so they could escape. We don't know what our next step will be, but I'll keep everyone updated.

Will keep trying - never could get anything but "3" - and it never did stick to the car.- Add Decal - select...Right Side
.... Choose Decal - the font/numbers/letters on the left. At first you will see capital letters, scroll down to the numbers, choose 3.
......... use the wands/buttons to get the 3 where you want it, the color you want, etc. Before you leave that decal, you can go to Settings (I think) and have it "Duplicate on Reverse side" and you'll have the correct spot, color, and so on.
... repeat as needed.
Thank you - have no idea what a 36 in SVG format is, or what to do with it.Or you can wait and upload a custom 36 as one decal in an SVG format. I will be doing my number that way for sure.
Haha, svg is a graphic format created back in 99 I think. It was designed to be a sort of GIF that can be controlled by XML code in a web page. It is good for high quality graphics as well, which makes it good to use for livery editing.Thank you - have no idea what a 36 in SVG format is, or what to do with it.

I might need ti take you up on that offer too, if you wouldn't ever mind.I'll build you one when the time comes and send it to you and walk you through uploading it. It's basically one decal that would have whatever style number you want.

Oh yeah just the number 23 and I'm good.As long as the requests are kept to numbers and other basic stuff, I can handle that kind of thing. Full liveries and complicated designs will be better left to someone else. I did some pretty cool stuff back in Nascar '09 but it was mostly full wraps that you could build and place on the car.
My son and I have spent HOURS on one car in his Forza games. I haven't looked at the new editor in GTSport, but if it's even close to Forza's, you'll see there's plenty of time to be wasted on that stuff.Making a livery looks like it can take an hour or more to get just how you want. Just the way I like it
