From what I understand from the in game notification for uploading liveries, the maximum file size is 15kB. I actually like the size limit as it will eliminate a lot of poorly converted files from being used. But... I am finding the SNAIL logo to be a challenge, I have managed to get it down to 16kB so far and the last kilobyte will take a bit more tweaking to achieve.

Thank you @JamCar0ne for catching that as I completely forgot about looking at the file size!If you can't manage it ,let me know,I may be able to help!

At a Snail Saturday night practice, last night, it was abundantly clear that the "Start" of each race will tend to be a Major Catastrophe - unless we are patient.

Remember, the race is not Won at T1 - but it certainly can be Lost there (or before you even get to T1).

I guess the electronic world mimics reality. Even when it’s not real these young bucks think they have something to prove :)

must be new given the questions he is asking. BTW Are the combos posted yet ?

lol

What black is the best? Remember that guy??? He was a baaaad guy, I'm glad he is gone back to the Antarctic desert wastelands from which he was spawned, never to return.

I Can't get into GTSpurt. After racing on the Dark Side for so long, GTS, except for its exceptional graphics, feels like a step backwards for the franchise. Too gamey, arcadey and only what, 17 tracks? No classic cars, no weather to speak of, the FFB is iffy and that firkin frakin tire squeal. Plus, I have to work to get enough GT$ to buy my cars?

GTS is a huge step up, (down?), from GT6 though in almost every way and I can see the diehard GT fans enjoying the "game".
PCars2 is far superior in almost every way, but cannot touch the graphics of GTS, spectacular. In a perfect world all the companies would get together and produce the ultimate sim with the best parts each has to offer.
Next gen VR is going to be awesome, I hope I am still around for that.

I have almost dreaded entering the Daily Races - due to the "could care less" attitude of Divebombers and Hard Chargers.

If they bash into you hard enough it results in Alignment and Engine damage - and you just limp along for 1/2 a lap, or so. And, of course, the DR / SR is usually effected by the incidents.

Hope our League will be more enjoyable, and less aggravating, as our numbers increase.

I am going to try my best to struggle through this flu I'm dealing with to make the races tonight, but if I don't improve throughout the day I will not be joining in tonight, as I don't want to screw anybody's night up just because I'm stubborn and want to race, while my heads not in the game. I'll try to report back later, but if I don't, consider me out for tonight please.

I made some liveries for tonight. They're simple and I don't care for brand logos, but there are some really imaginative ones out there.

Nice. I hope there are decals for the other Justice League members. I would put a Flash livery on the Ferrari of course. McLaren looks like a Batmobile and the BMW is the big brute Superman lol

I created the batman one , although there are similar decals available. I also created the Green Lantern as he was always a favorite but the Superman was a decal I downloaded.

Flash is doable as I'm sure many others...maybe I can do the wondertwins and gleek next week lol

I saw Superman and 80s Batman. I'd like the modern Batman symbol though. I bet Green Lantern was really easy as it's simple shapes.

Had a moment today to go into my archive of old GT5/6 race photos. I probably should not have done that...now I'm really angry that GTS has left out tons of great cars and tracks. It wasn't a big deal for me at first because I sold my PS3 years ago and haven't played GT6 in all that time. But looking at the old photos...I want to cry thinking of all the awesome cars and tracks we are missing out on...

@SAMHAIN85

As a newbie to the wheel world, welcome! Let the frustration ensue... :)

No doubt it will be a huge adjustment for me. But I do have some experience with a wheel, about 10 years ago I owned a g25 and played some iRacing when it first launched. But console sims have always been done on the sticks. Looking forward to enjoying GTS the way its meant to be played.

From what I understand the T300rs pedals are garbage, and a lot of people upgrade to the T3PA? pedals. Is there a chance these will be marked down for a Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale? I might as well wait if thats the case.

Edit: looks like the T3PA pedals were 25% off on newegg, but I think the code expired. Someone also mentions the pedals were marked down last year for black friday.

Interestingly enough, I was more competitive with a controller vs. wheel users in CanAm on PC1 than I've managed to be thus far with a wheel against them in PC2. Maybe that's not a fair comparison being 15 years experience vs. 2 weeks, but I was surprised with the learning curve. I thought since I have a decent amount of real life experience that would help, but it's been a struggle to say the least so far. But, to be fair to myself, those guys are all really fast and I imagine most of them would be D1 in a place like this. I am far from a D1 driver so, yeah. Still just trying not to spin or otherwise wreck. Pretty much what all the wheel guys say when they pick up a pad.

The GT edition of the T300RS comes with better pedals than the regular T300RS. I don't think they are as good as the T3PA pedals, but they appear to be very close. I have the GT edition, but I have continued to use my G27 pedals largely because they were already hard mounted to my rig and I didn't feel like drilling new holes.
