In GTSport, what can I do to the FFB settings to make it easier to feel when I'm about to lose the rear end as well as when tires are at the point of grip that the car goes straight on? If I can get a feel for those things as they start to happen I can better manage my steering input and keep the car straight(ish).

@JamCar0ne

You are a popular guy. I thought my boot was big but it seems you wear size 13.

BoD FYI
[/Just letting all of you Snailracing league admins know, if your room is public, it is public, not private. Your other guys, JustCar0ne will catch hell from me everyday for just booting people from the room. It's not private unless it's PRIVATE (passworded

Not with dip****s like that guy running the show lol He's a dick, straight up. He needs to go or your league will go NOWHERE .. I've raced since Gran Turismo1 .. I can piss people off or I can be cool. Just letting you know, that admin is an ass

How do you get a base, if you dont even let people try out? quit dancing around the issue man. That JamCar0ne dude is a pure ********. I don't care how "long" you little league been going. Your admin is a bad rep. Didn't even explain why it was private , he just booted people. I ahve 5 college degrees, and know business. He needs to get his ass kicked period.

And how many times did that guy have to be kicked from the room. Most normal people get the hint after one. Combine that with the name of the lobby indicating a specific event and someone with 5 college degrees should have been able to figure it out. Someone with 5 college degrees should be able to put together a proper sentence as well.

I am wondering some of the same things. The tail end seems pretty responsive with the throttle (sometimes too responsive, but I think that is just the G29 talking) but I still feel the understeer is a little vague. From what I gather at this point, it isn't so much a FFB setting as it is to poor driving physics... I ran GT6 on a DFGT and it had more steering feedback. We may have to just wait uto PD sorts things out.

Oh, my... Both @Raw10_2u and myself typed messages to him and he never replied. Was ready to start qualifying, so I booted him. Booted him twice. He came back during the race and typed out a big rant then left.

That sounds like a much more likely scenario and one that I have seen played out more than once. On a separate but related note, wouldn't it be nice to have community features back so that we can run our races in peace and just have to worry about connection issues like the good old days.

Man... I can't even begin to express how cool it is to be racing with you all again. I have really missed this. After 2 1/2 years, I am rusty and, well I stink! (Sorry D2) I can be quick when I am focused and by myself. On my good days, I still don't have the mettle to run with the D2 gang. For all you new drivers, this is good info. One of the corner stones of the SNAIL program is promotion and relegation. IF you don't feel like you are racing with the right group, just give it some time. The mechanics of this organization will find the right group for you. It will take time for me to land in the right group of drivers where I will fit best. In the mean time, I will keep trying to chase them D2 fellers and see if I can't learn something!

Speaking of D2... The last time I was allowed to peer into the "almost D1 drivers", this is what we were racing. Almost 5 years ago!

You've fallen to the Dark Side my friend. You'll forever be searching for physics that don't exist. There's literally no indication of when the back end is going to give out. I watched Rednose's stream, and watched him go sideways with no warning (last lap in the Ferrari 1:06.05) - and it wasn't recoverable - at all- he tried. I thought, "that wouldn't have happened in that other game". I'm still trying to get on board with this game, but there just isn't a feeling of what the car is doing, and how the weight is shifting from front to back. (to me, in my opinion, of course).

But I'm bummed I couldn't watch Jam get mean with somebody. That just doesn't happen!

When a room title says snailracing.org and then the room title to be which round and race then a room host and other players tell the newbies who are not part of the racing club they need to leave, their should not be an argument from the person who is not a part of the racing club. It should be a matter of respect that someone leaves once they are told an official racing club is going on at the time. Their are the daily online races, the race laps for the FIA and so many online rooms that other players can race in when they are told to leave a room that has official racing going on. Whichever division i am placed in, i will upload replays and will ask the current host to host for a little bit so i can get used to the system of qualifying and racing that is in place in GT Sport until hopefully PD puts back in the community features like was in GT6. Once i get used to the qualifying and racing setup in the room i am in, i will offer to host.

Edit: @ScorpionTopaz I won't be playing GT Sport until either on Christmas night or the day after but i wanted to ask did you do all of the driving licenses, mission challenges and circuit experiences or just both driving licenses and circuit experience before you went and did the Time Trial?
