Hey all you Snails.
I just wanted to post this to show what you have been missing in GTS. The weather and live track features on PCars2 are amazing. The first race starts with a snow covered track that gradually clears up and provides the grip we want. Race two is a snow covered track in heavy snow that gradually gets deeper every lap. The best is the last race in the heavy rain where puddles form and affect the balance of the car. It could be pouring on one side of the track and no rain on the other.

The Lobanaro Lounge is proud to be Snail affiliated and is the largest PCars2 thread on GTPlanet. We run two groups of cars for our races. The fast guys get the faster cars and vice versa. It's worked out well as we can have two races on the same track at the same time. What we want are alternates to fill in when our regular guys can't make it. There has not been a Monday where at least one alternate is not needed.
We run a very relaxed room and everyone in our lounge has something to offer. Personalities are more important than being super fast. I wake up every Tuesday with a sore stomach from laughing. Don't be scared of the tuning aspect, most of us change very little as the default tunes are pretty good.

Check us out if interested.

I have read the first post and would like to join

@Jereseyjoeaw

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1,@zer05ive ,@Rednose58 &, @MajorBlixem as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Since I was notified that I may have been up for a prize, I got off my duff and tested some combos. I have a killer combo that will have to wait now. Should I ever win prize A, I planti run the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2016 at Autodrome Lago Maggiore GP II. Buckle up tight. You RR guys (you know who you are) will love the rhythm and challenge. Turn 1 will take you 10 attempts (if you’re like me) before you begin to know how to address it. I’m interested in hearing thoughts after you have tried it. My 11th lap, I turned 2:16.407.

Letting others know a day ahead that i won't be available to host for Thursday night practice so someone else will need to take my place for tomorrow night.

SNAIL DATA

Hi SNAIL Data Specialists....

Last week we completed the January 2018 Season and we need the missing Data for the season entered. Since we don't have racing this coming weekend you have till next week to complete those before it is archived.

Current outstanding data:
D1: Jan 21 and Jan 28
D2: All caught up
D3: Jan 14
D4: Jan 28

Thanks to all the volunteers who keep snail running.

For the Formula 1 fans out there... mark your calendars

Confirmed 2018 car launches

February 15 - Williams
February 20 - Sauber
February 22 - Ferrari
February 22 - Mercedes
February 23 - McLaren
February 25 - Toro Rosso

Sauber will this year be sponsored by Alfa Romeo.

I will mark those dates on my calendar... and in other BS F1 news... sadly PC got to F1 too, they fired the Pit Lane Girls.... sad day indeed to lose a tradition in motorsport to that kinda crap.

It's just F1. They're still around everywhere else.

Also, the 2nd generation Formula E car was revealed, Halo included. It's kind of like a cross between open-wheel and prototype
