The data is pretty compelling. Snail made me a better driver. In just a little over 6 weeks.

Good news, your progress won't stop anytime soon. I started in SNAIL when GTS came out (about a year ago), and I was terrible. I got better week after week, and now I'm sitting comfortable in the bottom of DR A+:

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - BMW M3 GT BMW MOTORSPORT 2011 (RH) at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit - 08:00 Clear (5 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Harry Rowley wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @Harry Rowley has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 3 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D3 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @Harry Rowley is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - PORSCHE 911 GT3 (996) 2001 (SS) at Autódromo De Interlagos - 08:30 Clear (6 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Bologna_Duc gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Herimopp89 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Currently tracking 12 Incident Reports
We have at least one prize winner with a racing incident being investigated by the stewards. This may, obviously, change the order of the prizes to be selected. All winners are asked to refrain from making selections until the Weekly Steward's report has been posted.
The target deadline for the Steward Reviews, this week, is Wednesday night by 10PM Eastern. The Steward Summary will be posted as soon as possible, following completion of reviews.
:@: SNAIL Stewards, please make your way to The Incident Review Scoring.
The IR Submission Form is now closed.

Lol I can imagine but it had to be fun hell it's fun now with half those divisions I cant imagine with 8 or 9. It can get back to that especially with all the live streaming and multiple race formats snail is running now I know I'm still "new" (joined in may) but this is the most fun iv had in a long time and see why so many of you guys have been around since 2013,14 ect. I'm sure others will get hooked just like I did lol

Where have you been. We’ve been expecting you in D1
Yeah I've missed all of this month, not purposely, I did practicing for last weekends races but couldn't make it because, I'm trying to find a car, meeting with real estate people for interviews on places to rent since I'm trying to move before xmas and also juggling my kids also, while working full time, I am hoping to make all of next months races

I think we should do a 70's theme for the liveries this weekend.
Has to be a replica
Has to be searchable
Doesn't have to match the make or model. You can use any livery from the 70's.

I'll be trying this....

Prize Update

Prize A is clear for this week. @Harry Rowley was the prize A winner and he is a duplicate prize winner this month so his prize will go over to a suggestion and selection process. This means that anyone who raced in D3 this week is eligible to make one suggestion for Prize A.

  • You must make you suggestion by posting in this thread.
  • You must make only one suggestion and not edit your post to change your suggestion.
  • You must be clear in your choice. Full track name, full car name, and time of day if you want something besides default.
  • The deadline to submit a suggestion will be noon ET on Wednesday.
  • Remember that you are not voting for previous suggestions. This is your chance to have your voice heard. Don't be a parrot.
  • Once the suggestion window has closed, @Harry Rowley will be clear to make his choice from those suggestions.

Super excited to see, where my fellow division 3 team mates takes us?

Especially as my Shifter Kart at Tsukuba Prize A selection, was such a joyous success!

I’m really cringing... Ha ha.

Just a friendly reminder that daylight savings time ends this weekend. If you are in the US (aside from Arizona and Hawaii) you will be setting your clock back one hour at 2AM on Sunday morning.

Our scheduled race time does not change for everyone who observes daylight savings time. It will still be 9:30 ET. For those that do not observe daylight savings time, you can do your own conversion using Eastern Standard Time as a guide.

On a related note, the change in time may make it a little easier for those that live on the west coast and enjoy outdoor activities to join in on the Sunday night festivities.
