Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1,@zer05ive ,@Rednose58,@MajorBlixem & @SAMHAIN85 as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

Not sure why you're seeing that. Conversations are started by clicking the 'Inbox' link in the upper right hand corner and then selecting 'Start a New Conversation'.

Sorry for the typos in my previous post (they've been corrected). Also, my apologies for not updating the points every week of the ButtKicker Challenge. I just had my third kid a month ago so my SNAIL time has taken a hit.

Last but not least, my apologies to anyone who's waiting for a reply to a PM or a shipment of any kind from me. I'll try to catch up on my inbox and get to the post office this week. Thanks for your patience!

The drivers list has been updated and is ready for tonight's racing. Sorry for the delay but there's not much I can do when some guy knocks a power pole out of the rain soaked ground.

All drivers that submitted a time trial have been placed and one driver has been moved to a new division for this week. If you're tagged here, it means that you're newly placed or have been moved.

The only suggestion I can give you is to try starting the conversation from a PC instead of your phone.

Using the PC and not the phone couldn't hurt. As we keep finding out, phones and GTPlanet don't always play nice together.

I wonder if it's something as simple as a waiting period from the time you join GTPlanet to when you're able to start thread and conversations. Maybe there is a verification email that gets sent once you register on GTPlanet that you have to respond to. I really don't know, just spit balling ideas here. Could someone that registered on GTPlanet recently maybe shed some light on this?

Never heard of that problem before. Are you sure you aren't a Bot @Diggypow

If he doesnt get it worked out we could create the PM for him so he can atleast start the sign up process until he figures it out.

I did the email verification, but it might be because the account is brand new. I'll try again later, hopefully I'll be racing soon.
