With the 2019 Formula one season quickly approaching , are there enough F1 fans in SNAIL for a F1 fantasy league? I am willing to put one together if there is enough interest, then we can wager some shells..:dopey:

If you are curious about the kind of league I am thinking, it is the same as I've been doing the past few years over in GT Planet's motorsport section.
I'm down

@JLBowler

Did a quick check. Looks like @Sean Renon uploaded the replays in this format:
2019.03.10.d1.r1.r1

Not sure if this is useful info but I figured I'd let you know.

You can't even enter a . in the online search to try and find it. You might be able to do it in the game but I don't have the game up and running right now. All those tags will need to be changed to the correct format.

For anyone sharing replays. The format has to be correct so that I and the rest of the stewards can search and find them. There is no way that we can guess what method was used to tag the replays if it's not the correct format. We have been very lenient in extending deadlines to get replays shared and allowing divisions to keep their prizes. Currently, I spend my Monday evening trying to track down anywhere between 1 and 3 sets of replays, either because they are not tagged properly or they just are not shared at all. I didn't even have a chance to look for them today until well after the deadline and then still gave everyone a chance to get them accounted for. There is going to come a time that I'm not going to have the free time to go searching for everything and if the replays are not there, those divisions are just going to lose their prizes and we'll reward the divisions that can get it done correctly and before the deadline.

Sorry for the rant but this is getting old when it has to be done almost every week.

Just so this is a somewhat productive post, here are the instructions for sharing a replay:

All replays must be shared in game and be "tagged" under search tag #1 using the following naming convention: YYYYMMDDdxrxrx To break that down YYYY = year of race, MM = month of race, DD = date of race, dx = division#, rx = round#, rx = race#. An example of this would be 20171203d1r3r2 = 2017 Dec. 3 Division 1, Round 3, Race 2.

I am down for that in GT SPORT. It will be like a SNAIL All-Star event (unofficially of course).

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - NISSAN FAIRLADY Z VERSION S (Z33) 2007 (SM) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - West - 05:00 Clear (7 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @THRASH wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - SUBARU WRX STI TYPE S 2014 (SM) at Autopolis International Racing Course - Shortcut Course - 12:00 Fine Weather (8 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Bologna_Duc gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Rednose58 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

My bad. I will correct this when I am home roughly 5:30pm.

I haven't been doing this for long, not sure why I put periods between them this week.

All the replays I did this week were in the format RR said.

Currently tracking 6 Incident Reports
We have at least one prize winner with a racing incident being investigated by the stewards. This may, obviously, change the order of the prizes to be selected. All winners are asked to refrain from making selections until the Weekly Steward's report has been posted.
The target deadline for the Steward Reviews, this week, is Wednesday night by 10PM Eastern. The Steward Summary will be posted as soon as possible, following completion of reviews.
:@: SNAIL Stewards, please make your way to The Incident Review Scoring.
