What happens if there isn’t any suggestions? - Asking for a friend.

edit: Thanks PSN for letting us all down Sunday
Im assuming this vote is only for those who actually raced last weekend - normally i would be in the d3 division bit could not get a connection - for the record - IF i had a vote id say the honda s2000 on ss. Just sayin’

Could be that your suggestion would be allowed if it was known that you tried to race (D3) last Sunday but suffered the PSN issues. (?)

We will see what my division mates @diehard racer @racingchamp30 @CANOWORMS1 @TTTtothetop and @Raw10_2u come up with!

@stelephant I wasn't much help with car choice. I've kind of ignored this aspect of SNAIL as I'm not really sure what is involved with this process. It seems pretty involved, what with "mid-division lap times", whatever that is. I will work on what it takes to make a winners choice as soon as I finish a race without a major impact into a wall. There's a reason it took me so long to join SNAIL as I repeatedly skipped over the section in the OLR about winning a prize. LOL.

It's really not that involved.

  • Pick a car and / or track that you like.
  • Run some laps and make sure the car doesn't run out of gear.
  • Post the car and / or track in the main thread.
  • Post the lap time that you got. We can figure out the rest.

This was actually the easiest part. Just test a car and give your opinion. Mid division times are an approximation. You continue to improve. Keep pushing within your limits and you will keep improving.

April 2020 Season - League Night #3
1. TOYOTA CROWN ATHLETE G 2013 on SM Tires @ Circuit de Sainte-Croix - A II - 09:40 Cloudy - (4 Laps)
2. BMW M3 COUPE 2007 on SS Tires @ Circuit de Sainte-Croix - B - 07:10 Clear - (6 Laps)
3. FORD MUSTANG GR.4 on RH Tires @ Red Bull Ring - 07:45 Fine Weather - (10 Laps)

Details

Note: I use the same amount of laps for the BMW since it replaces a car in the same class. The lap time may be off, but it has to be out by a lot before the lap count will change.

Someone must have leaked the hot rodders tearing up roads around Sainte-Croix. This guy was spotted headed in that direction.

Come on fellas, you all of been asked for your opinion. Normally you’re not very shy about giving your opinions!
BTW, this weeks sport race B is Nordschleife. Give it a go!
A question for the masses: if Nürburgring Nordschleife were to be eligible for SNAIL racing, would you avoid it like the plague virus, or would you welcome it? Just curious to see how people feel about racing the Green Hell.

I was required to update my PS4 to system software update 7.50 and all i seen was to improve system performance.

Thanks for the heads up.

Official Practice Lobby will be open at 9PM EST

If you plan on doing any future practice on your own in "unofficial" lobbies, I suggest copying the lobby settings upon entering the room tonight. (Race Settings > View Event Settings > Save Settings) In the future all you'll have to do is "load" those settings when creating a room. Now you have peace of mind knowing your lobby has 100% accurate settings from top to bottom. (Number of laps will be different than Sunday night)

It also comes with a flashy lobby title - which leads people directly here to the forum when they are browsing online lobbies, which may lead to them becoming members and thus tightening the skill gaps in every division.

When you title your practice lobby "Practice" it doesnt do anyone any favors.

I'll also be running a new format which I tried out last week. A series of 3 shorter races per combo, to accommodate for our new Sunday format of 15+ min races. If we were to run an identical Sunday night, we would have to start each race within minutes of each other, and potentially lockout members and new recruits for 15+ mins if they were to join after the race has started. This format allows for closer racing since the field wont get so spread out

Lobby has been filling up quickly lately. Join asap to grab a spot. It shouldn't take too long for someone to leave, so keep trying if its full.

If lobby is full you're welcome to open another room. Please make sure to use correct settings and title

I have been doing well at the Green Hell. Starting up front and already have won a race there. Just gotta wait for the driver in front to make a mistake.
