I've driven to Vegas plenty of times, but never there and back in the same day. I left at around 630AM and got there just before 11. Got to see some family, and a tour of my uncle's corporate office (who I've told you about with his connection with Kurt Busch) Kurt gave his fire suit to him from last years Vegas race.
To see the strip completely dead was surreal. Never again in our lifetime will it be like that (hopefully).
The pictures dont do the Raiders stadium justice. It is massive. And you can almost throw a rock from the I-15 and hit it. After passing by it we got a perfect view of the Jets flyover.
Hit the road around 330PM and made it back to town around 9 after hitting some traffic through Riverside.

All hosts should start tonight's racing at the scheduled time. The only reason to hold the start is to give someone who was already in the lobby their three minutes to return from the time they left, provided they are believed to have been disconnected, or to sort invisible driver issues.

La Sarthe was a dreaded track for me for a long time but I found some resolve a year or 2 back to change that. I have to say that last nights C7 Corvette race was the most enjoyable combo of the evening. Really nice pick @SAMHAIN85. Too bad you weren’t around to enjoy it.
I’m not sure why everyone seems to loathe La Sarthe, maybe everyone would enjoy the C7 there without chicanes? We may never know. . .

@Hothentic for your second week in this league, you sure had your moments last night. You hunted me down in Round3Race2 then passed me for P2. We had maybe one back-and-forth and then I thought it was over lap 7 of 8 with you in front (P2). To my surprise we still have one lap to go and I was able to get around you sometime on that final lap. It was a great showing for you though! Well done! You get another one or two weekends under your belt, you’re going to be real threat to the guys in Div2.

I really appreciate that. I was on limited practice this week and I’m still adjusting to using a wheel and pedals. I’ve had my csl elite setup for about a month now and I’m finally starting to get comfortable. I had a lot of silly mistakes last night. But I guess that’s part of finding limits with new equipment haha. Always a fun time racing with you guys though!

Hopefully Vegas will be fully opened when we travel there at the end of August. Looks eerie no doubt
