A blast from the past! It will be interesting to see what’s changed since. Here’s my post from back then after running a few laps:
“So a Murican here trying to drive in the sweltering humidity of South America. Driving my zero mile Ferrari I'm halfway into Turn 1 and thinking maybe PD forgot to put rubber on the new rims I just bought. After a couple of laps I feel like I'm sort of surfing around the track. So I thought, why not?
Not to fret for those D3 drivers with whom I"ll be driving on Sunday. I have been assured by my key technical sponsor that all will go smoothly.

Finally have my dedicated Sim area in our basement finished, with a wall hung 50" flat-screen positioned for optimal fov. Huge difference it has made in immersion. Next up is the wheel upgrade, and have been waiting for this one from Fanatec well.

Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:
We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:
1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, Rednose58, MajorBlixem, SAMHAIN85 & llNovall as participants.
The conversation title should be "Request To Join".
2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.
3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. I have one replay at Red Bull. FL was a 1:37.6 by @Yugofan, and I was able to clock a 1:38.6. @SAMHAIN85 was in the 2nd race, but I didn't save a replay. Did I see a 1:35 that race?

Our Sunday evening races start at 9:30pm EST which according to your signature (Germany) would make your start time 3:30 am Monday morning. You would be finishing around 5:30 am. Are you ok with these start and end times?
