There was one suggestion for prize A so we will be going with this.

Itll be 3 years give or take a few days since we last ran this:

My suggestion:
FERRARI 512 BB 1976 @ Autódromo De Interlagos
13:45 Fine Weather
SS Tires

I wont have a chance to hop on for some laptimes until maybe tomorrow. Looking at the stream src ran a 1:45.7, but this was during the wild west days of #shiftgate and potentially any physics updates. I'll guesstimate a 1:50 mid div lap time

A blast from the past! It will be interesting to see what’s changed since. Here’s my post from back then after running a few laps:

“So a Murican here trying to drive in the sweltering humidity of South America. Driving my zero mile Ferrari I'm halfway into Turn 1 and thinking maybe PD forgot to put rubber on the new rims I just bought. After a couple of laps I feel like I'm sort of surfing around the track. So I thought, why not?

Not to fret for those D3 drivers with whom I"ll be driving on Sunday. I have been assured by my key technical sponsor that all will go smoothly.

Let's go surfing now
Everybody's learning how
Come on and safari with me...”

@notime72 You have until 6PM ET today to make a choice of track. If you fail to do so, you will be declared an absentee prize winner and there will be a very abbreviated suggestion and voting process to choose the track.

Thank you @notime72 @JLBowler

Combos for this weekend, Nov 28th are as follows:

1. FERRARI 512 BB 1976 on SS Tires @ Autódromo De Interlagos - 13:45 Fine Weather - (9 Laps)
2. TOYOTA 86 GR.4 on RH Tires @ Red Bull Ring - 13:15 Clear - (10 Laps)
3. FERRARI 458 ITALIA GT3 2013 on RH Tires @ Fuji International Speedway - 06:15 Clear - (9 Laps)

I have set the lap count for the Toyota/Red Bull combo at 10 Laps, roughly 1m35s. Will update as soon as I receive a definitive time.

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, Rednose58, MajorBlixem, SAMHAIN85 & llNovall as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

I have read the first post and would like to join.
I searched gtplanet for a league.
Our Sunday evening races start at 9:30pm EST which according to your signature (Germany) would make your start time 3:30 am Monday morning. You would be finishing around 5:30 am. Are you ok with these start and end times?
