I'm sure you can turn the music off if you don't want to listen to it. However, if you are an avid You-Tuber, you will quickly be demonetized if you run any music in the background. Even though the music is most likely licensed to GT, you can still not use it in your own videos.

I gave the SF Formula a spin, I’m confortably in the 1’17. 1’16 is reachable for me and 1’15 for those better than me with high grip high downforce race cars which is not my cup of tea.

I was able to run close to Tim and Gator in the Ferrari last week, not gonna happen this week in this formula car. We need a slow car in the rotation next week please. 😂

I'm making a wild guess for the Dallara at Interlagos. 1:15.000 Do not disappoint me.

I think the Diablo is going to be received with mixed feelings. My advice is to take it easy and be smooth. Stay out of the ditches.

The record shall reflect that I picked my combo before Phlano, who had to go all ballistic with his car replacement for Interlagos. Before going down as league ruiner, (EDIT) he’ll at least get points for a car that hasn’t been used in 🐌.
The Diablo really is controllable at Alsace-II. It’s very satisfying once you get familiar with it. The Enzo Ferrari and McLaren 650S were much more difficult to control. The RX500 was too subdued for me. Enjoy the raging bull at Alsace-II ! (Reminder; join the revolution, turn off ABS)

Quite a change from 2 to 3:
Lambo top third weight, super formula bottom third
Only separated 68hp
Lambo steering thru molasses, super formula twitch

Not surprising. For grins I did the super formula at Alsace about 30 seconds faster.

The super formula was used for a brief endurance series with tire wear and pit stops part of strategy. Fun races.

Super formula at full Nurb before we get to GT7. One time OLR variance before we leave GTS??

I am so happy that the music will be synced to the replays. That was a long overdue enhancement! Thanks PD and Kaz.
I was going to make a sarcastic reply to this, but I don't know @Rob Brown well enough. What if he's serious? And now I realize for many it is overdue. But, really? I have to pay for car washes and oil changes? (sarcastic retort :D). And I've since done a bit more reading and while I personally wouldn't race with music blaring I will be checking out "Music Rally" with the volume cranked.

smooth jazz/lounge/trance soundtrack.
Great description of a feature I truly enjoy. Never intrusive, nor jarring. It's just that I like London don don don in the rain. :D

Did I miss something ? Rob posted this:
Prize A:
Alsace - Village II 19:30 clear
Lamborghini Diablo GT ‘00, N600 571 hp, 3285 lb, RH, mid-div 2:04 means 7 laps.

Village, or Village II?

Love you, mean it, you are the Best….

The transition to GT7 will take some extra time due to the time it takes to set up the new division placement testing process for the influx of new drivers we'll likely see. I know everyone keeps saying Feb will be the last season but I imagine March will happen as well depending on the actual release date and how long it takes to test out a new baseline combo for Div placement etc.

Hoping I'll get my copy before the original date given...maybe PD will give us all an early present?

Personally I will pass sunday the 6th of march. I’m going to be deep into the single player career by then. I will be ready to race again the next sunday whether is on Sport or GT7 depending on how long the transition between the two games. Its probably a lot of organisation not counting the new members of returning ones. You guys are doing great work and it shows.

Thanks again, I appreciate it a lot !
Can’t wait to race on Trial Mountain and Deep Forest again.

For the safety of our community I would like to encourage all drivers to wear a mask during tonight's races due to the fact that some drivers like myself have covid19 and do not want to spread to the rest of the field. Let's be safe out there tonight kids
In order to prevent spreading COVID, you will need to stay 6 feet behind the last driver at all times 😂

Anyone have any solutions for sim rig/chair sliding on hard floor while racing? I moved from a place that had carpet so this wasn't an issue before now. My chair doesn't have wheels, but the feet are smooth plastic. The feet on my rig are a smooth rubbery plastic material, it holds better than my chair but still moves under hard braking.

I tried Gorilla non-slip rubber furniture pads, they worked great for all of 5 min before they started peeling themselves off my chair and rig, leaving me with a gooey adhesive mess on all 8 feet for me to clean up. :banghead:

Any help or advice would be great :D

Certainly not the most elegant solution, but so far I think it works! Will update after tonight’s races on how well it holds up

Hosts should start the night's racing at the scheduled time. The only reason to delay the start is to sort connection issues for those that were in the room on time or to give someone who was in the room on time their 3 minutes to return to the lobby.
