D2 and D3 will be starting at 10:00 P.M. Eastern time. In the Drivers List I put the start times beside the Division header.

My sincere apologies, I guess zer0 and I forgot to coordinate announcing that :(

Edit: D1, D4 and D5 will be starting at 9:30 P.M. Eastern.

This means I could watch a race in another division before my race. That is awesome!:dopey:

Yeah, sorry for not clarifying the start times for each division. I've been sick for a week and yet we had to go to IKEA after dinner to get a new play kitchen set for my daughter. I just got done putting it together, but I have to admit that the "thank you" hug she gave me sure did wipe a lot of the stress from these past couple of days away. :)

👍

Which graph is it?

Scroll down to below the Division 5 grid, there's a whole bunch of different ranking stats there :)

And over on the right are all the fast laps from everyone we got a time for, for the month of February. January has a similar thing too 👍

Will send FR to Div 4 later this morning. Breaking in the 350z as I type this.

Hope I'm not the only person appreciating the earlier start time in the Division.

Thanks to Zer0 and Kcheeb and anyone else who had a hand in re-aligning everything. 👍

... in case your wondering my PS3 is wired.

I know this is a delayed response, but :eek::eek:

I've updated the responsibilities post with your new stats. 👍

Btw, I've updated a few other portions of the post, but I'm not finished yet. Sorry if there seem to be a few errors, but I'm working on cleaning it up. Notable changes include changes in the division stewards. For example, Apmaddock is in D2 now so he can't be the D2 steward. Thefore, I've shifted jobyone to that spot and replaced jobyone with JoeW.

JoeW, please confirm whether or not you accept that role.

Also, there are a couple more "capable hosts" in D1 now.

EDIT: Updated my sig to include the responsibilities post. Sick of having to search for it so that I can hyperlink it. :P

Also, I wanted to give a ginormous shout out to Exo! He saw a need that he felt like he could help the league with and so he volunteered to do exactly that. He'll now be both the primary video uploader and data specialist for D4. Seriously huge thanks to him for taking on both of those roles.

Please be sure to thank anyone you see on this list from time to time. They're the ones who take time out of their busy lives to help make S.N.A.I.L. possible. They put in work for the league so that you can enjoy it more.

Pm sent to Zero.

Who normally hosts D1? Do they want me to start hosting on Sunday if they don't already have a regular host? I'm just a newb so whoever hosts currently is welcome to continue...just volunteering ;)

You also need to switch me out of the D1 steward spot as I have been promoted back up to D1. Youth Basketball is over for me so I can devote more time to watching replays each week and be a more productive steward.

Hey all,
I'm really sorry to say this, but I'm not going to be racing tonight. I woke up today feeling miserable, and I'm in no condition to race tonight. Best of luck to everyone, and I know I'll be back next week!

OwensRacing is the D1 host, so you'll need to talk to him about that. I'm going to revamp the responsibilities later today so that the primary host is identified. I'm also going to put a general description of each position at the bottom of the post so that there's less confusion on who does what. 👍

Another delayed reaction. Saw Zer0's reply to it and went all the way back to where you posted this. Saw it on my phone app when you posted it but didn't look any closer at that time. I don't think it would matter much if it was wired or not. I know of enterprise level networks that have 1/8th that level of service.

OMG M:censored: F:censored: :drool::drool::drool::drool:

Why, oh why, can't my little town get some fiber internet action. This kind of stuff almost makes me want to move to the big city. Almost.

Okay, I'll get that sorted out when I get back home. I know the stewards will definitely appreciate your more productive eyeballs. :)

Since there's two people with white already in D1, I'm gonna switch my colors to matte black with white wheels if that's ok

Thanks for declaring your colours guys 👍 Jobyone will be along shortly to record them!

There are a few people here that will dupe colours for anyone that asks, OwensRacing and Bowler off the top of my head. But, it's always good to have more willing to do it, thanks 👍

I *should* be able to race tonight... Hot water heater in middle of replacement, just found out we also have to swap out main shutoff in house (turned off at street now), and main pressure shutoff as well.

Fiber is cocky!!!

Your upload is my download. LoL

Can't complain about my commiecast. 28 down and 5 up. I'd like a lil more up. But all in all it doesn't give me any fits.

Hoping for some Verizon FOIS soon.

I was wondering what kind of numbers we have been running in each division. I know it is simple to count anyone who shows up for any race as a full participant, but that does not seem authentic to me. Last week, we started with 9, 2 guys left after the first combo, 2 guys did not have Motegi, so we were 9 for the 350Z, 5 for the Corvette at Motegi, and 7 for the MacLearen at Daytona.

Snipped, mega analysis of the data

That was how I was thinking of it, at least.

I see what you're saying Handlebar (because you typed it ) and we are very close to contraction. But we felt with a concerted recruiting effort we'd give it another month and see where we land.

We all definitely enjoy fuller grids, it just adds to the excitement. With that in mind, every S.N.A.I.L. can help fill the grids up. Contact GT5 friends you have that aren't S.N.A.I.L.s, put the S.N.A.I.L. thread in your signature, in short, let the world know how great we are  And how much fun you have racing in S.N.A.I.L.

I *should* be able to race tonight... Hot water heater in middle of replacement, just found out we also have to swap out main shutoff in house (turned off at street now), and main pressure shutoff as well.

Never a dull moment in your house Handlebar :) Hope you get it sorted 👍

Get well soon, beal. I'm probably not going to be racing either as I don't feel any better myself. What are the chances that the drivers with the two highest number of Sunday nights will both miss the same night? :(

Is anyone in D4 willing to direct the division in cmbeal's absence?

I will be there and can direct D4 if there are no other takers. I would feel better if there were someone with better speeds than I have (15 x 1.5) to at least host the room. What data will I need to jot down in the event that I do direct??

I am truly sorry for what I have done and caused here. I think this community is a great community full of caring people. There has been a lot learned here for me, more than what you might think. Thank you for the rebuking.

I ask for forgiveness from the community with a sincere and mourning heart. I am sorry, will you forgive me for what I have done?

John 3:20-21, James 5:16, Luke 17:3

I am not riding off. My head is low, true, but asking to be forgiven, facing this issue and not running as I did before. I was wrong for what I did.

I did as asked on an earlier post and listed it below. I have had several PMs in addition to public forgiveness. I ask is it Zer0's decision alone as to whether I can race here again? Forever, temporarily, or what? I am simply asking so I will know what I need to do. If it is for x amount of time, then I will stay up to date as to what is happening in SNAIL-ville and make sure I have cars ready for the green light. Otherwise, I will bid farewell.

Coach, sorry for the delayed response, but the timing of your drama did not mesh well with all of the other discussions (on the thread and behind the scenes) regarding start time, final weekly results, final monthly results, and promotion and relegation for the month. After all, there's only 24 hours in a day.

That being said, I read your PM to me (along with the posts I've quoted above) and I do feel that you're genuinely remorseful for what you did. I think we all let our emotions get the best of us sometimes, and I'm certainly no different. That being said, if you agree to race under these terms, I'll let you back on the grid:
  1. Acknowledge that this is your last chance - any penalty, large or small, related to aggressive driving will be the end or your time in S.N.A.I.L.
  2. Acknowledge that this you'll need to race six complete Sunday nights without collecting a penalty related to aggressive driving in order to clear yourself from "last chance" status
  3. And finally, send a PM to Apmaddock and Oshawa-Joe and acknowledge to them that you realize that it was your aggressive driving that they were picking on, and not you.
If you do all three of the things above, send an FR to SNAIL_Division2 and let me know that you've done so.

Thanks Exo! The most important thing that we need done is to have the results, pole positions, and elimination votes recorded. The easiest way to do that is to give you access to the directors's doc so that you can simply enter them after each race (it takes about 30 seconds each time). However, you'd need to have a computer/laptop nearby in order to do that. Is that possible? If not, I'll log into the D4 lounge and do the score keeping for you guys.
