You monster you! Anyone test the Subaru yet? How many laps will it get?

Hopefully @kickenit4evr and @llNovall did. I love the pick and have been anticipating someone choosing Laguna since I visited the track last May. Looking forward to practicing tonight after work.

I did some running in the morning (then left the room up while I went to work, sorry for those that joined and were greeted with long, uncomfortable silences on my part - @Vitessekid left me a present though, in the form of a lap time I couldn't beat...), and I think 7 laps is a good bet, as lap times will be in the high 1:30s to low 1:40s, so 7 laps would be 11 minutes and a few seconds.

By the way, what is the Mid Division and how do we estimate time for it? My best lap was a 1:38.84x while running with WIDEEyed a while ago and I'm D4, which is currently the exact middle division, but I have no idea how this thing works...

Also, sorry about the mile long parenthesis in the first sentence, today has been a great day and I guess the excitement has gotten to my language skills. For the first time in my life I used all languages I speak in a single conference call. My brain is tired.

I was able to eek out a 1:39.678 after running 40 mins non stop. The corkscrew is sure to get a lot of attention this week and lot's of off track excursions. I would like to run some laps with other racers but I now work nights. If anyone is on during the day, let's get together.

Meet you in the club lobby in 10'.

Just want to share some good news with you....

My son got the phone call we've been waiting for quite some time. He got accepted into the Air Force. His sworn in ceremony is tomorrow morning.

He is on his way to become THAT guy! (Tactical Helicopter Aviation Technician)

I gave him a shot of the good Scotch last night to celebrate.

The W-16 Bugatti engine. "I'm just going to fiddle with the timing a bit to see if I can get a little more out of her."

a W configuration means 3 rows of cylinders, 16 isn't divisible by 3, we have a worthington air compressor that has 3 cyl, so wouldn't this be a 12 cyl? or a 15?

From my limited understanding, this is the W configuration Bugatti uses.

so it is an actual double V, ever see a square 4? bryan and i had a chance to take a tour of the old TWA overhaul base that howard hughes built and they have HUGE worthington compressors and a v-16 and v-12 gm electromotive diesels to energize the place before it was part of k.c., they would burn the old jet fuel

Took me 20 laps to get a 1:39.946, so we are in the same boat (Oh and I went 4-wheel off on the chicane about 1 in 5 laps...so lots more practice needed for me.)
