We're already set up for this sunday so I'll get the weekly car show started.

The Camaro's livery is a deep cut from Gran Turismo's past. I would guess that not many of us had it in our garages back then.

This was a promotional DLC car from GT5. I don't remember how I got it though, probably by buying a Schick product just to get a DLC code.

Last weeks challenge saw a lot of movement on the leaderboard as drivers tried different cars from their garage. The early front runner was @radliffracing in his Willy Jeep, but was eventually overtaken by @Mac1032763 with a 8.730 in his R32 GT-R.

Thanks for hosting, was a lot of fun and we had almost full room, forgot that one guy had a mouth on him, sure u know who I’m talking about lol.
Hey KG - I had a great time. Thanks for running some races with me. We had a decent group for a while. There was some tough, clean-ish racing there at the end :)
Looking forward to seeing you all on track again sometime soon.

Here's what I'll be sporting this Sunday. And to heck with @Buffalo_DRD I'm not leaving the Sahara, yet.

Last post was about death and destruction, OK, no death, just destruction. But, this is what a vast majority of the Sahara was like, about 4 days ride. We would ride until it was time to camp, hang a right, go over a rise and lie down under the stars. And what stars. Darkest, blackest, clearest I've ever seen. Dryness so extreme it was a thing. Check your boots in the morning for scorpions.

San Juan, Puerto Rico for my car show.

My wife and I flew down here and stayed for a week, years before we got married. I remember seeing this square while we were there. It was a busy place with music and kids playing. We also visited the Castle in Old San Juan and the Bacardi factory. Cool place, seemed like there were no rules when it came to driving. At least for our cab drivers, lol.

I have read the first post and I would like to join
@NoobMaster69

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1,llNovall, Akzl298 & Dragonwhisky
as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
