My Logitech G pro wheel 5 months old is down. It keeps losing all feedback - did it twice during 1 race yesterday- decided to tear everything down and update the firmware - but the software / mac never recognizes the wheel hub -

spend hours on it with no success -

issue posted in hardware forum.

if i can get it working I will be there tonight

Didn’t even know that was a Mac software version for Logitech… I was thinking that, like my Fanatec stock, it was Windows software only. Good luck finding solutions to your gear problem.

If ghub isn't recognising the wheel, try plugging the wheel usb into the computer while it is off, and then turn the computer on. It may pick it up then.

As well, the different usb ports on the PS5 have different capacities. I run my wheel plugged into the usb port right next to the ethernet cable on the back of the PS5. People sometimes have some success swapping which port the wheel is plugged into. It may or may not fix your situation, but it's quick and free to try.

tried 2 macs and borrowed win laptop - i get the ghub screen to "connect logi gear" Nothing happens

when i connect the wheel hub to the win pc i hear the ding that it recognised the connection - just never proceeds anywhere

Try plugging the wheel into the usb on the computer, then turn the computer on, and once the computer is running then turn the wheel on and power the wheel up. See if it picks it up when you do it in that order.

Edit: Also, when powering up the wheel plugged into the computer, be sure to select "PC" at the startup on the little screen on the wheel.

thats what i am doing - have tried connecting to comouter and then pwr up wheel hub and have tried connecting usb with prohub already on ......

its my luck or lack of it

appreciate the help - looks like I' gonna have to send in for repair - been doing the oscillating and losing feedback since day 1 - its just getting worse and worse -

maybe its the ps5 pro - not sure which is the issue -

Yeah I'm at a loss if you're able to power up the wheel, and then connect it to usb. Mine doesn't even power up unless it is already connected to usb. Sorry I could not be of more help. Logitech is typically very good at replacing equipment, hopefully they get it sorted quickly.

I forgot about that startup setting in my original post above, and edited it in a few minutes later.

Glad it got worked out.

As for the oscillation, it helps to turn the force feedback sensitivity in game down. Like, potentially down to 1. You may also find that cars are easier to catch that way, quick corrections are easier.

This is what I'll be sporting for tonight's races. The location caught my eye because it reminded me of the colourful houses of Newfoundland. These are 'palheiros', also fishing village houses.
