I'm hoping there won't be an issue Jeff as we have to get into order at the start anyways, and that should go fairly smooth on an oval! The starts will be manual start with no formation lap. We will be starting as per usual tonight but with no delay between A & B as the lap times will be very close, and there is only 10 of us ranked from last week. Any drivers that show up tonight that weren't here last week, I'll put in position from PCars 1 rankings.

Really wish I could hear more chatter though. I can hear Mike on his stream, but that's it.

Before the lobby issues at Texas the two streams were waaay off sync. Mike was about a minute behind Chris. Now they are synced up just barely a noticeably difference.

Well guys, that had to have been one of the most :censored:ed up nights yet in the Lounge! I think we'll stay away from anywhere that a rolling start is required by the game, too many weird things going on there.
Our bad for the hooligan race, now we know we need to be on a track where you can't miss the sector timing points. Well at least those that had never done it before with SRM got a bit of a taste as we still had some good laughs.
Thanks again for sticking it out and being patient, and sorry to those that had to miss a race.

Well, last night was an absolute CF. imo. That is not what oval racing is all aboot, that's for sure eh? When two cars can dominate like that in a default room, there is something effed up. Plus having only 9 cars racing on a 2.5 mile track makes for some zzzzzzz racing.

My fault? No effen way Man.......It was all Colts, right bloody Wanker that he is, he crashed me in a most dastardly fashion and just continued on latida like nothing, so I figured I would take you (Sgeti),out in a more dastardly fashion and continue on latida. See, it all starts with Colts.

Maybe it's time to start recruiting again, 9 guys....really? 10 at one point. We should be able to fill this room easy. You guys must know a few people we don't who would like to join in the fun.....last night excepted.. this Lounge has been the most fun I have had racing, no pressure, no fuss no muss. Who wouldn't want to race with us?

Generally I had a great time (surprise, surprise), although it reeeeeealllly pissed me off when the game ejected me for simply hitting the 'Ready' button. Maybe it was a bad week because a bunch of people were trying GTS. I'm just frustrated now, because the code for my GTS DLC is saying it's not valid. WTF? I'm about ready to shot it down and go drive the Datytona in PCars 2. All of these developers have their heads up their exhhast pipes if you ask me...

I thought gutter was gonna join us... probably once the game is fixed properly we will get more...
However, if the lobbies keep getting screwed up like that.... perhaps we should go back to p1 until they fix it right.

I got home late, and missed the first few invites. I found a multiclass lobby at Bathurst which just started when Aero invited me. I decided to stick out the Bathurst race to avoid a hit to my score for leaving, but I also ended up beating 3 GT3's in a GT4 for 1st overall. 👍 Afterwards when I tried to join the Lounge, the game bugged and I couldn't Ready Up. Still got to watch some of the MikeyMikeyMotorBikey stream though. If that BoB is giggling then you know it must be fun.

Lucky you. After not being able to start in the first race...my folly for overwriting my saved tune and getting back too late.... I got disqualified twice in the second and third races at the automatic rolling starts as the lights turned green or before and I didn't even press any pedals while waiting for the go ahead. All I remember was getting hit from behind before given manual control and got disqualified. I has consprcy thery.

David, it might have been my car that hit you, but I was not on the gas or brake either. From my perspective it dropped me on the back of your car from about 6 ft up.

So far, it's turing out to be everything I dreaded about the original. The makers still regard it as a 'game'. WTF do I still need to earn money to 'buy' a car??
I got it because I did want to keep racing with SNAIL Sundays, but that feeling is wilting. I'm really not interested in spending two or three hours a week in seasonals or whatever to 'afford' to race on Sundays. We'll see...

Gord Downey the frontman for Canada's favorite band for the last thirty years, The Tragically Hip has passed away from brain cancer at the age of 53.

Most Americans wouldn't have heard of "The Hip", but in Canada, these guys were like the Beatles to us. Always writing about Canadian heritage and Canada in General. The band will die as well, because the Hip without Gord cannot continue. They did a farewell tour last year knowing he was dying. I was never a big fan of his singing, but, imagine the Stones without Jagger........yeah, you can't.

And a little off topic but Mphile, the scroll lock button was for older computers/keyboards.
You used the arrows to move the cursor around, and if you wanted to scroll up or down you needed to hit that button..
Its basically useless now, as it only works in excel.

For the record... Did I warn you about the Auto Starts on circle tracks? Was I told something like, "I think we'll be okay, yada, yada, yada..." You guys just blew me off, like I don't know what the heck I'm talking about. But, I'm the one constantly scrubbing through all the bug threads. Me and the Penguin. Maybe if DP had warned you about the auto start glitch you would've paid more attention.

I was fine with ice on the track at Indy....I was up to160 mph thru the corners and in a nice controlled drift...I would mind seeing a race like that, I didn't hear the bitching, I was having too much fun..
