I was thinking, wow, must be some kind of cool Tool show that they set up a stage and have a guy play drums! But then I realize it's a band :dunce:
Never heard of them
You've never heard of Tool?! Oh yeah, you're kinda old. So... there's this band... and there, like, really cool! There like, hard rock and stuff, but still really deep, if you know what I mean?

Their most popular song is the thesis to my life. (Not literally).

You know you're a B.O.B if:

They've only been around since the early 90s Steve. And have one of the largest fan bases of any active group today

Well I just listened to 14 of their songs. Other than a few good sounding parts, (usually intro), just another typical sounding metal band where most of the songs sound the same, and each song is very repetitive in it’s making. Probably why I’ve never heard of them as I just don’t like that type of metal sound.
But hey, if we all liked the same music it would be a pretty boring world.

Probably be out tonight... my oldest and his gf are coming over for dinner. :irked: .....
If I can jump in I will - need to get some wheel (and pedal) time with the new setup. 👍

Y'all have a good time tonight!

Hi all,

I will be out for the next 4 weeks. Will be in sunny Brasil until mid February.

Enjoy the races!!! See you in a month.
Have a great time CB, and enjoy the warmth!

Guy’s, looks like potential small groups again tonight, so we will all race together. I’ll post a new chart before races start.

How bout this flight simulator?
From the paint color, I am guessing it's Russian. It looks like 80s era tech, so if IS Russian that would be a modern cockpit!

Nice way too put it. Some music can’t be so quickly judged/dismissed.

New setup

You are set! Very nice. How lucky are you
to find this for sale and within driving randge to pick up. BTW, the rim is P1 elite. The v3i pedals are the *****. I’ll PM some info.

Ah I suppose congratulations to sgeti on being mr awesome.
I was using my controller for the last 2 races because in the first 2 races, you guys put up about as much of a fight as a legion of blindfolded Girl Scouts in wheelchairs.
Alright I wasn’t, but still.
I was a blindfolded Girl Scout in a wheelchair in the last 2 races.

Can’t remember if it was Steve’s national geographic we were all laughing at or some other horrible comment.

Girl scouts? I heard that you haven't been this lucky since you were a boy scout leader...

One last thought on the recent discussion about the passing of Neil Peart. It's odd how certain people (and many of them) can feel devastated by the passing of someone they have never personally known or spoken to. I can relate. For me it was, it is Ayrton Senna. And just like Neil, it's the loss of superb talent, personality and generosity. But as much as or more than anything, it's the loss of a soul who inspired MILLIONS of people to play better, DO better, and BE better.

Ok, one more thing about Rush. I asked my wife if she'd read about Rush's drummer passing away. She replied, "Like a military drummer?"

No dear, the band Rush, not Russia.

this is for Bear. The GT Legend guy.

Not to ruffle any feathers or fur in Bear's case but i just looked up Grand Prix Legends and it is still available and can be downloaded for free but only on PC. I think I will download it tonight when I get home from work! It will be nice to know what Bear has been talking about for last 3 years! Haha!!!

Live For Speed was the first PC sim I started playing in the early 2000s using a mouse and keyboard. Sub-par sfx but the physics made up for it. You can probably still download and play it today.
