Club Lobby will open for Main Event participants ONLY at 8:30pm eastern for pre-race activities.

The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race at Tokyo R246 Reverse by replying in this topic (no later than 8:30pm eastern today) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). This is to ensure we have a full grid for the Main Event races. Anyone who does not confirm by 8:00pm eastern today runs the risk of losing their spot in the Main Event.

All drivers are to report to the lobby no later than 8:55pm eastern so we can complete connection checks. Anyone not in the lobby by 8:55 runs the risk of losing their spot in the Main Event.

Seeing how tires last on Very Fast, I'd love to try a race car series with Normal tire wear and have it last to just when the tires go off the cliff. That way you still have to work with your tires but no pit stops so everything is on track. Pirelli World Championship is 45 minute races with no pit stops. Somehow they make it work and it's so fun to watch. Grid starts too.

Great night of fun. I have fired my gas technician. It appears he was sniffing to many fumes that first race, cost me the podium. The second race my gauges went blank at the beginning causing me to try and fix, then false start. Some one the other day mentioned how to correct no gauges?? Please tell me again!!!!.

Apricot Hill (aka tire killer) next week, look forward to some more great racing.

Any time it's happened to me, I think you just press start, then "continue" (start again)

What Parker said; also, you can do it during the countdown (I've done so). That said, I feel your pain. My idiot crew chief sent me back out on the same compound tires during the first race. I got lucky in that I exploited the "extra" softs such that I was able to get just under two seconds ahead of Kg for 10th after stopping for hards on the second to last lap. Other than my team problems, great racing tonight. Tons of battles at all stages of the races.

Replays from tonight are available at the SNAIL Touring Car Series open drive.

I had that happen in qualy at Silverstone in RCS. Quite an annoying thing. I think it happens right before the race or qualy starts and it's counting down to the start and you're in a start menu (you know when your car is transparent). The way i fixed it is to press start and go to options and select full menu or whatever...
Good racing, Cape. Your 3rd race pace was very good. When I was passing you, you didn't give me an inch (which is good). Didn't help that i gave you a little boost down the straight either :P. Good podium!

Although the results from week 3 will not be posted until Thursday, the KOQ TT for next weeks race at Apricot Hill Raceway / Reverse is now open.

Just a reminder that ANYONE that is not a confirmed Top 10 driver and want's to race next week, must attempt to qualify using the new KOQ process. Additionally, Top 10 drivers are welcomed to submit times if they wish and will not impact KOQ process.

Once you are in the KOQ Time Trial, when you're ready, click the black & white (not yellow) start race flag and drive around until the timer expires and let the game take you back to the room lobby. If you leave before the time expires and takes you back to the room lobby, your time will not be recorded.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Good races, @Zii1993, @GGGMotorsport, good strats by you guys as always.
@tapout3013, I'm a bit disappointed if I may say so. I wanted you to not screw up the pit in the first race it would've been a close battle :) Other races were a bit rougher though.
Good night racing everyone!
Ya man I wish we could have raced the **** outta each other same thing happened the 3rd race But I didnt forget I just ran out of time to select them. Good race anyways trying not to be mad and be happy!

Good racing last night, guys were respecting slower traffic me lol and saw a lot of patience when I was in the pack, don't know if it's the car for me or the track or both but I need to find speed especially if I'm racing in div2 Sunday nights feel like I'm embarrassing my self, going to do time trial to see where I'm at, maybe with very fast tire wear is what I need to work at hard to get a rythem when tire wear changes every lap

And here I thought Parcells likes Tokyo Reverse. I suppose by the time the last race rolled around I was finally starting to pick up some time and I really do like that track (both directions) but last night I struggled and when I added dumb mistakes it showed in the results. Did have a few good battles with a number of peeps but they were far and few between. Collection of Parcells dumb asss moves include…

1) Screwing around and not getting my third (and by far fastest – only clean lap) qualification lap in (three seconds shy of finish). Just as well though as I would have only gained a few spots from the back of the grid and had I done that my second mistake of the evening would have made things worse.

2) First time ever in this series or Wednesday Parcells had a false start…again daydreaming at the start. Haven’t even made it to turn 1 of race one and already have 2 big mistakes in the books.

3) Was pretty sure the races were going 14 laps so why in every race did I take 10 more liters of fuel than I needed? Rhetorical question btw.

4) I think it was race 2 where I was in second place, directly behind Grimm when we both pitted for soft tyres…I must have had a pit speed violation here (didn’t think it was possible on this track – must be finicky??? ***) because when I left the pits there were 2 cars between Grimm and me and significant tarmac, that one was a shocker.

5) The last race I again found myself very near the front with my soft tyres ready to pit at the end of lap 6, Vovik is in front of me, looks like he isn’t going to pit, I start to head to the pits but change my mind so not only did I not pit on the right lap I lost time on the current lap debating it.

6) Following Warden (I have better tyres) just waiting for the right moment to make the pass…this goes on for a couple laps (I want to do this right) but then I had momentum heading into the double apex left hander at the end of sector one with some faster guys getting closer in my mirror so instead of backing off and letting us both go through single file I engaged two wide into a turn where we were both destined to lose time because of it so chalk up another poor decision to my night.

*** Is there a generic rule about pit stop speeds? I thought there were only a handful of tracks that you can’t go full speed into and during my practice I was heading into Tokyo’s pit pretty darn fast (like almost full speed) so I was surprised when Grimm left the pits 10 seconds before me.

HELP: Could someone please tell Parcells how to join the track and remain in the pits at the same time…I hit join room and my car automatically starts driving out of the pits…how can I stay in the pits without driving towards the track?

I believe those penalties didn't exist until one of the more recent updates. But it's imperative to practice to know if you're going to be penalized. I would think it's made for all tracks but at some tracks you don't carry as much speed into the pits and also it takes over control for you before you can be penalized.
