Won new Sunday Cup event on Grand Valley South with Unimog on SH tyres and 416PP. It took many takes but it was fun

I have many cars with zero miles on the odometer.

So I chose one and drove it in a few races for the experience. And the underwhelming roulette prize.

Just did the normal thing ie. Grinding. Normally I slow down to make sure I don’t do extra lap but now wanted to push and lap some drivers

This is from Thursday but I did the LeMans grind race with the W196. It was a weird race I ended up putting 4 times! It started raining at the end of lap 1 so I went to wets. It wasn't very hard so I pitted on lap 3. A patch of heavy of rain came through on lap 4 so I went back to wets. The rain let up on lap 5 but I wanted to try to get to the end of the race but the tires were worn out by the end of lap 6 so I pitted once last time to finish out the race. For some odd reason every time I use the W196 at LeMans I get really crazy weather. Got semi racing muffler for a 3 ⭐ 🎫

In GT7 today I discovered, after some 700hrs with the game across PS4/5, that there’s a whole Master Drivers License that I wasn’t aware of!

How the heck did I miss this? I reached Driver Level 50 in 2023, have bounced back and forth between DR B & A with 400+ Sport races, completed the Career races a long time ago, to at least Bronze level a long way back. But somehow this overlooked the License having a complete higher level.

So, today in GT7 I learnt I still have a lot to do in this game, even after so many hours with it. (Still have Missions and Circuit Experience to complete too, but they’ve always been on the someday list)

i did 700 lemans where there were a couple of cautions on the final lap one of them was perfectly timed to the point i finished when the time ran out. one caution was due to couple of ai spinning out causing a 3rd to back up i had to stop for a second to avoid losing the clean race bonus the 2nd one was Portilla hitting Heywood like a wrecking ball.

Completed the weekly races with the 800pp race at Dragon Trail. Used the Sauber Mercedes C9, getting used to driving with 0 traction but only had 3-4 spin outs! Managed to win first try. Then went to Nurburgring 3 lap race 800pp with the legendary Kaz driven GTR NISMO GT3 from 2013 (nostalgia) the sounds are so awesome in that car! Got 2nd place, car was low on power (716pp) but had a blast smacked a few walls and learned some corners, had a great time! What kind of fuel are they feeding that GR Supra haha It was one of those days where I’m not frustrated with GT!

On Friday I completed the weekly challenge races and as a reward I got a chaparal VGT. Sold the ugly thing right away. It felt like a waste of my gaming time.

On Saturday I drove the Ford Roadster on Nurburgring, testing both an engine swapped car and a upgraded default engine car. And that's another engine swapp tested and discarded.

My Sunday gaming time has been reserved for Nurburgring laps for a while now. As I had limited time today, I skipped the tuning shop part and went to the track with a fully stock Honda Integra '95.

And what a nice ride that is! Even in stock form with comfort tyres. I had a good time, but forgot to save the best lap replay. I'll come back to it another day then.

I added the car to my favorite cars tab and a 6 stars ticket gave me 500K for my time.

Went full Viva la France and won the Lemans 700 with the Pug 205. The engine power curve is abysmal for endurance racing, but still got 180mph out of it.
