The following rule addition is effective immediately​

• Drivers are to continue to race and put their best effort the entire race night.
  • Due to the unique nature of the series and the KOQ process, this is to ensure that drivers are not left out that would have otherwise raced if given the chance
  • Of course real life situations occur from time to time as well as the random DC. This is not meant to penalize the occasional situation.
  • Continued repeat of this regulation will be managed at the discretion of the Series Director.

Based on driver feedback and looking at the timeline regarding KOQ, the following rule modification is effective immediately​

• The KOQ Time Trial will be open from 11:00pm eastern on Tuesday and will close at 11:00pm eastern on Sunday Monday.

Additionally, drivers that qualify via KOQ are no longer required to "confirm" their intention to race in the main event since participating in the KOQ TT is basically saying the same thing. By removing this requirement, it allows me to extend the KOQ process into Monday evenings which will allow drivers more time to get a time recorded.

All that said, should a driver qualify for the main event and later finds out that they will not be able to make it, please let me know by posting in the thread or by PM so I can inform the next alternate.

The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race at Brands Hatch Indy 80's by replying in this topic (no later than 11:00pm eastern on Sunday 2/15/15) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). I will update the list accordingly.

Just a reminder that ANYONE that is not a confirmed Top 10 driver and want's to race next week, must attempt to qualify using the KOQ process. Additionally, Top 10 drivers are welcomed to submit times if they wish and will not impact KOQ process.

Once you are in the KOQ Time Trial, when you're ready, click the black & white (not green) start race flag and drive around until the timer expires and let the game take you back to the room lobby. If you leave before the time expires and takes you back to the room lobby, your time will not be recorded.

This Week's KOQ closes on Monday 2/16/15 @ 11:00pm eastern.
