There was a huge crash in a last minute test and my car had to be rebuilt. We did an overnight but it got done. Here's the new wheels. Fresh start.

For your viewing pleasure. I think we should all do this and then we have a spotter's guide.

I have been using this type of image for the DTC to make the spotters guide. If someone has photoshop it is pretty easy to make a template like I use and make all the images. It takes less than a minute per car and I am happy to share how I do it if anyone wants details.

Must start at least 1 race on each compound (Example: Race 1-RH, Race 2-RS, Race 3-RS)
  • Failure to meet this requirement will be the penalized by dropping your highest points for the night and will receive 0 point for that race

Did i miss a post where the above was changed? I saw the one for tire and gas from very fast to fast but I can't seem to see where this was changed.

Thanks for the great racing tonight.

Great battles all night, think I realized I'm letting people pass me To easy when they hav noticeable more speed Because I don't get the same, guess that's just racing and will be changing the way I drive(:

That has been the rule since day one

I guess i misunderstood you in the room. I thought you typed you could start on the same compound all three races.

Time for new glasses.

The track definitely made the tires work. And you could easily feel the difference between the softs and hards. I felt more confident with softs at 7 or 8 all around than with hards at full 10s.

This car is a handful, beyond fickle. You can see bent save me from the "best" off I've had, when I dipped 2 tires into the grass and drifted through the 4th gear turn that I don't know the name of, ending up directly in front of bent, who punted me back up to speed, ghosted, then somehow managed to keep his position in the race 1 replay from tonight's races, which are posted at our SNAIL Touring Car Series open drive. I think it was either the 2nd or 3rd lap.

Congrats to NORML_N for being the highest finisher in points tonight (21 points) that is not in the top 10 in the RCS.

Well done Norm.

Will have the full results posted later this week

Just a reminder that ANYONE that is not a confirmed Top 10 driver and want's to race next week, must attempt to qualify using the KOQ process. Additionally, Top 10 drivers are welcomed to submit times if they wish and will not impact KOQ process.

Once you are in the KOQ Time Trial, when you're ready, click the black & white (not green) start race flag and drive around until the timer expires and let the game take you back to the room lobby. If you leave before the time expires and takes you back to the room lobby, your time will not be recorded.

This Week's KOQ closes on Monday 3/23/15 @ 11:00pm eastern.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Below are the current results

Confirm

I'm once again going to confirm but just like last week I might not be on time .. Soccer coach likes to take practices later than advertised

I'm going to confirm but I may have to go to the back. My wrist is doin somewhat better but I should get my stand on tues so hopefully I can get it together before the race. Cape was yours disassembled? If so how hard is it to assemble?

If I can't get it assembled in time I'll have to use a ds3  brings back week 1 of RCS memories grim lol

I actually think it was the way the wheel was tilted on my desk. I never did follow wardens advise to put shims under it to lift the front of the wheel itself to straighten the wheel in front of me. It angles so much that if I turn over 90 deg my hand was having to twist a bit cause the wheel gets closer to me the lower on the wheel you got. If that makes sense lol

Came in pieces. No instructions. Surprisingly not many small parts. I used their online video for sequence of assembly. Overall an easy assembly. The most challenging part was using the proper length and mm bolts. On a few occasions i used wrong length. Took me apx. hour+ to assemble. I was not in a rush. Hardest part was attaching the seat to the base rails. They do have an online video, and others on you tube. Suggest you take 10-15 min. and watch a few to avoid any common issues.

Pictures of the finished rig are required before you are allowed to race.

Eligible Drivers
  • Although encouraged, you do not need to be a SNAIL driver to participate.
  • zii1993 must post pictures of his completed rig before he can race
  • Current Top 10 drivers are potentially (see Knock-Out Qualifying for specifics) locked into the Main Events (Main Event Qualification and Main Event Races).
  • Prior to 8:00pm on race night:
    • All current top 10 drivers, Recent Series Champion and Grim must have confirmed in the official GTPlanet thread (this one) that they intend to race.
    • Simple post of “I plan to race this week” will meet this requirement.
    • Grim will track these and update the anticipated starting grid accordingly.
    • Any top 10 driver and recent Series Champion that fails to do the above by 8:00pm on race night and wants to race in the Main Event will need to earn their spot on the grid by participating the Knock-Out Qualifying.

He does speak the truth. It is in the rules
