I like it. That would make things pretty interesting for sure. Would the enduro be at another time or instead of an event? Do the non qualifiers run a consolationenduro?, Intriguing idea
thx Whitney did sound fun, but no responses so
my other friend is doing similar setup with gt6 so it will go smother over there since that's how they are setting up from get go, I'll won't make any more suggestions for star league and go with the flow(:

For me, I just now got to your idea. I'm on in spurts and usually to update something or address a matter. It sounds good I'm just not following it totally. Tomorrow I should have time to soak in the idea and info. I think I have a queston but not sure. Like I said I can soak it all in tomorow. I spot check and post when I can. This idea sounds good from what I scanned.

Matter of fact, get it ironed out and execute if you want to give it the board's blessing, Whitey, Long, Busted. I trust ya'll.

Hi gents, I tuned several k cars and not getting close to 448pp, any suggestions, did not try premium car yet, jst wondering what's gd k car, I've driven k car once in my gt5 career lol

I also need more clarification to give it my blessing. But from others reactions it sounds positive. I'm also not going to be around until later today to really respond to anything though...

@DesertPenguin09 Nice shots, well done.

As mentioned before, this is the list eligible. It is the same list as the A/B-Spec Event in the Beginners Hall. I recommend you go to mygranturismo.net to look up the car you plan to modify. It often lists what the cars maximum PP is when tuned.

Im in. It gives more purpose to each race, each position and gives a payoff to prevent monotony
. Agree would give more purpose, make series take nxt step in star league, guess I should of left msg up longer to get more input from ppl who not on gtpl everyday Srry

Ok th

Ok thx

My understanding of the new format suggestion is this:

A 5 week championship or season where all points are tracked and counted for each division. This would require us to start calculating and posting a running points leaderboard so everyone knows where they stand.

At the end of the 5 week season, the top 7 in points for each division plus both division stewards qualify for a season ending multiclass enduro to be run instead of league race the following week. Division 1 is assigned to 1 spec class and division 2 another and we race together.

This will incentivize people to finish as high as possible and not give up on races since the difference between finishing 8th or 12th in one race may cost them a grid spot in the end. It also gives d1 and d2 guys a chance to race together occassionally. And most importantly, it breaks the seasons up so you have something to look forward to and an end goal that each race helps you achieve.

This is a raw idea or concept that would need to be ironed out and there are many details that would need to be figured out but the main idea i think is a good one.

Top 7 means 3 are dropped from D1 and 2 are dropped from D2. Do we think all think this is a fair cut off?

In general, I am ALWAYS welcome to the idea of a two class extended (maybe an hour) race. This way pitting and lap traffic are factors, like real racing. It would be glorious. I also like the idea of points adding up for an overall championship and having one "off" week that you can use if you have to miss a race weekend. That way even though there are five weeks, only four races count, so everyone is on the same page even if people miss a week.

Like the pics so far guys?

Well said Whitney, u wrote it up better then me, if we get more feed back and ppl like it, then we can work at final details

Good points. There are many things to iron out. Honestly, not all would care about points so people could still join and race as they please and ignore the enduro. The enduro would be a reward to the regulars though. I was in 20 week league championship with points once. Over 100 people raced at some point or another but there were really only 7 regulars that were there each week. We raced each other hard for points while everyone else just treated each race separately. You make what you want of it.

Nice pictures by the way. I tried taking some but they didnt look very good.

Looks n sounds good. We're getting the ball rolling. We want to be sure it is put together soundly and that all the moving parts work together & correctly.

Weekly results test...I'm testing to see if this works. I have 1 Dec results R1 & R1b in a spreadsheet. 1Dec Results

Edit: it works! Time permitting, I will add the rest...

Anyone else think 448PP is too high for the Kei cars? every single one has to be fully lightened, all power upgrades, and aero to reach that. If you know one that doesn't please let's discuss, but I don't know what to do for this race.

Got the Capp there without aero and not to stage 3 with engine or weight.. Car needs to be broken in. Then you will will get there.

If a driver buys a car, changes oil, then immediately starts adding parts and reaches the PP level, the car will be over the legal limit because the max hp level level has not been reached. As the car gets used, PP (& hp) increases. This is why cars have to be broken in before race .

I made the note that you could see what PP the car can reach on mygranturismo.net. There are a few that can - frank gave a few listed above that could. Granted, I think that the PP level should have been more like 400-420.

@Luv2Coach Oh and I couldn't get access to the document, it says you need to give me permission to?

Also, the Championship idea sounds fine, from what I read. I am in favour of doing a endurance race sometimes - despite the fact my pit crew always screws me over.

No such thing as a "too slow" race for me. I've raced stock (1960s)Fiat 500s having great fun. It's too late to change the PP anyway, probably. But it would have made it easier.

Although there are multiple values on mygranturismo.net...I meant more just as I guide - to see if the car could actually reach the PP with any permutation.
