Good practices yesterday thanks @Luv2Coach for hosting and thanks to @draqua_fresh & @USERID_77a23 for attending. I'll host practices later today (early & late) starting with the Ferrari @ Mt Panorama. if you have a time preference please post here and I'll try to accommodate you.

Oh? Midnight racing? I'm so down. I don't have all the cars for shuffle racing but whatevers. I'll figure it out.
Right on bro hope to see you there. FYI it only cost around 500k Cr. to buy all the 410PP cars, change oil & tires. Click the link for the complete list.

Near impossible not to touch the grass on the Ascari chicanes. I always try to keep at least 2 tires on track (asphalt/cement) at all times.
If you go a little slower at entry and turn in sharp , you'll see it's pretty wide actually , lots of room to stay on track ...... I'll be around through the day , if I see a room up I'll join

I really enjoy running laps on ascari, a lot of fun once you get the flow of the track. Track was never designed to run a pack of cars on it, just one car hot laps. That being said some serious fun races can be had with low pp cars. Gonna be great fun I think... No idea what car I'm going to choose lol

First one stay way left and turn in late up the hill , second one needs a little more wheel play, but same idea stay right to go thru late.( exit of the previous corner sets it all up
Racers are going to run those chicanes as fast as they can. The "keep at least 2 wheels on the bumper strip" rule seems to apply in this case. Then again I'm not the one who'll be doing race reviews and handing out penalties.

Good discussion , , if you can put 2 in the grass then it becomes a str8 thru kink instead of a chicane designed to slow your speed. It's definetly one lane through them so no one should be passing in them but theres lots of room for one car. I don't think of them a bumpers really , more of a paved shoulder.

If you freeze it at the chicanes , you can see there are cones on the edge of those cement slabs. If racers knock a cone that's a penalty

Nice comparison! the GT6 was actually cleaner than the real as you can see on the second chicane he gets two wheels on the dirt but doesn't hit the cone 👍 & the driveline on the GT6 video goes right over the grass on the 1st. The way they both look it seems your ok as long as you don't go deep into the grass. I know there's no bumpers I meant in theory the rule would apply in this case. I like the real clip that's exactly how I race it on GT6. I was just worried I was going to be out of bounds every lap. We should be fine come Sunday.

Who knows who's driving the gt6 car lol, just wanted to see how the track is setup to be run in the real clip. Lots of good videos out there to see how to run em properly though.. it's only the 4 wedge apex that are usually more strict(no dust bunnies), all others entering or exiting are 2 on the track

WAIT!!!......lol. I replied too quick earlier.

Chicanes: I went over Ascari slowly and at race speed and thus, have made the following ruling: It is nearly impossible to go thru those chicanes without touching grass, at race speed, on one side or the other. The coloring is the same as the rumbles, therefore part of the course. It is legal to pass thru as long as 2 tires are in contact with the track at all times. You may touch grass. Unfortunately we don't have the cones at the chicane edge so we will stick with the 2 tire rule.

Boundaries: All rumbles and white lines mark the course. Any area outside of these markings are to be considered off track. There are run-off areas outside the white line at the high speed turns. If 3 or 4 tires go outside these areas you must follow re-entry rules.

In replay the rumbles are clearly different then the wedge apexes. pretty sure you could take that first chicane at a cRaZy speed keeping only 2 on cement .Wedge chicanes are More similar to the run off areas at deep forest with a white line then paved area or Silverstone .. non the less  The dude abides 👍

We got a lot of smart racers with quick hands and I know they'll know when & where to tighten it up I'm logging on now for early practice should last 2 hrs (FYI the Italia is a glass car any damage an you'll have to pit ASAP)

I can't get myself to drive through the grass... Feel free to dock me points if Ya see dust bunnies behind me,lol. My style is to stay on track through the chicanes.

Agree user. Although, through my best intentions, each race there's always that one lap or corner where I try to push it and drag a tire or come close to cutting or just crush a wall. I can never keep my a spec driver in the blue it seems.

I agree strongly as you all know how I feel about cutting. I don't condone the grass there but I know it is easy to put 2 in the grass at chicane #2. It would be nice if PD put those pylons there like the real course; they put all the other details in for crying out loud.

410PP Lightning Shuffle Racing

Saturday Night 4/19/2014 21:00 PST - 00:00 EST - 05:00 GMT.
Well we only had one racer show up probably because it's Easter weekend. Thanks @RacingOtaku86 for coming out and I hope you decide to invest in the 410PP car list and give it another try next Saturday 👍 immediately following TRL Enduro

Chime in if you're watching this thread as to whether or not you're racing. Just to get a "feel" for today's numbers. We have a few new guys, so hope thay join us today!

I believe I will. I just woke up (stayed up really late). I still have to move the wheel over to where it needs to be and decide which car I'm using for R2. I really like lightness so I upgraded an Elise to 350HP but my other car is closer to 400HP. Of course the Elise is much lighter, but the other car I picked has front and rear aero. Front aero makes a HUGE difference so I may stick with that car for the reliability.

Hi everyone, I'm unsure if I'll be able to make the races today, I am with the family for the holiday, I look forward to racing with you soon! Thank you and good luck today!

Interesting ... I have no aero:boggled:

I'm not getting close to 2:13s though. I haven't raced at my limit in a long time. Practicing on my own now. I don't think anybody will be there today though :(
