Me too lol Not my store, just a stock photo. When I type in Trader Joes Oceanside all I get are pictures of when the car drove threw the front window/wall.

You sure look little up in that big ass tree! I love Trader Joes there's not one thing in that whole dang store that I wouldn't eat or drink.
 
Looks like no racing this week either.. "best" internet deal in my area isn't a local company.. all contract work and one is blaming the other right now and I'm stuck in the middle. Race hard and clean boys. See Ya on the track soon... Hopefully

Welcome to S.T.a.R. Racing League!

Our goal is to make your online racing experience the very best it can possibly be through the observance of High Quality Racecraft. Please take a moment to read the OP before asking any questions. It has all the details about S.T.a.R. Then read the OLR (online racing rules) and familiarize yourself with its major points. Negligent or reckless drivers are not tolerated here at S.T.a.R. and all members are required to exhibit Good Racecraft at all times.

Races are on Sunday @ 16:00 EST/21:00 GMT featuring Spec & Tuned races followed up with Race Cars and lasts approximately 2 hrs. Please have your cars purchased and oil changed; we don't deviate from our schedule for a driver that isn't prepared.

Administration generally has the car/track combos for each week posted by Wednesday evening; leaving drivers enough time to fully acquaint themselves with all three combos. We don't have an official practice day scheduled but we welcome & encourage posts on the thread if your looking for someone to practice with.

TWO THINGS before your first race:
  1. "Start a Conversation" with @Luv2Coach giving him your PSN ID - Color Scheme(car & wheels) - Racecar Number
  2. Submit your TT results as soon as you can, otherwise you cannot race in scheduled S.T.a.R. Events until we have this information.

@STALLIONO, I too like GTs. We don't run them every week but when I get the chance, I select them. Lol.

SUNDAY April 20

Race1 - Italia 458 {SS} @ Mt. Panorama; 5 Laps, 5min Q

Race2 - 520PP (FF, FR, MR RR) {SH} @ Ascari; 5 Laps, 5min Q

Race3 - NASCAR {RH} @ Twin Ring Motegi RC; 6 Laps, 5min Q

I will enjoy racing the first two races. What kinds of cars are you guys picking for R2? Let's talk strategy!

I fell in love with the NSX since I first saw it in GT 1. The first Gran Turismo got me interested in imports. The NSX was unbeatable in that first edition. I liked the looks of It and didn't but another car in the game until I could buy it. I even sold cars to get it. Sooo I will drive an NSX every chance I can even if it's not the best car. I'm running 2:14s with it. I'm considering dropping the Aero package. Not sure it's much of a benefit.
 
I feel like the aero is only good on cars that are consistently driving over 100mph/60kph. Otherwise it's not working. It needs speed to work. The only place we really need it is to stabilize the car on long straights so it drives smooth and doesn't wobble. The fastest part of Ascari is the straight after the hairpin. It has that slight right kink at first and then again towards the end at higher speed. Fastest I'm getting there is around 140mph. It's a technical track, not a power track.
 
Very technical indeed. I'm using NSX just cause it's my favorite import. Definitely a power car. Just going to have fun in it and hope it competes. Lol
 
At ascari, What's our ruling for short cut at the 2 "cement chicanes".? No tire can touch the grass in those corners is how I run through. Just looking to clarify as times and brake points can vary depending on how we are allowed to drive through them

Correct. As long as no tires touch grass.

Motegi RC - NASCAR does not have brake lights!!! I hope to see more in practice rooms! "S.T.a.R. PRACTICE". We should be together running combos during week. I'm running a lot of laps solo. 1:52.4xx at Motegi / 1:13.4xx at Ascari. Haven't run much at Panorama.

Open room and run laps as a group guys. Prevents chaos and wrecks, especially in a NASCAR.

I hope thats a 2:13 , or I'm gonna have to look for rocket upgrades in the garage
