Welcome to S.T.a.R. Racing League!

Our goal is to make your online racing experience the very best it can possibly be through the observance of High Quality Racecraft. Please take a moment to read the OP before asking any questions. It has all the details about S.T.a.R. Then read the OLR (online racing rules) and familiarize yourself with its major points. Negligent or reckless drivers are not tolerated here at S.T.a.R. and all members are required to exhibit Good Racecraft at all times.

Races are on Sunday @ 16:00 EST/21:00 GMT featuring Spec & Tuned races followed up with Race Cars and lasts approximately 2 hrs. Your'e not required to attend all of the races; simply show up and race when you want but please have your cars purchased and oil changed; we don't deviate from our schedule for a driver that isn't prepared. Administration generally has the car/track combos for each week posted by Wednesday evening; leaving drivers enough time to fully acquaint themselves with all three combos. We don't have an official practice day scheduled but we welcome & encourage posts on the thread if your looking for someone to practice with.

TWO THINGS before your first race:
  1. "Start a Conversation" with @BustedFoSho giving him your PSN ID - Color Scheme(car & wheels) - Racecar Number
  2. Submit your TT results as soon as you can, otherwise you cannot race in scheduled S.T.a.R. Events until we have this information.
P.S. SNAILS are always welcome here! Glad you are checking us out. Great group here! You will fit right in, I'm sure.

Hope to see you today. You are welcome to "test run" today since we are an hour from start. We can get your TT later if time is too short.

Edit: We aren't as old or big as SNAIL at this time, and based in your division there, you will be DIVISION 2 here!!
 
My apologies for today. My mind was not right as I explained when I left after R3.
I need finishing roster for R3 & R3b for points. As of now after the first two combos it is STIGS, Whitey & FREERVN. Gold, Silver, & Bronze.

Been there. In fact, almost every week I have to fight for my ability to play. Was a much simpler time when I was single. Playing video games is frowned on by most women I guess.

What gets me is that it was agreed upon when I started the league. That's how the start time came about. I don't get it.:banghead: :boggled: :confused:

Tell me about it! I've been up front about league times from the start. She knows I try to prepare whenever I can all week. Then most weeks she is all over me arguing with me while I'm racing about how I'm ignoring her or have messed up priorities. Literally most times I'm racing during league time my attention is split between the race and arguing across the room. Wonder why I'm so erratic in my finishing positions. Although some of my best results have come from being pissed off which makes me drive aggressive. Maybe I should thank her lol.

You gotta meet your lady at a race event or something. There are females that are into motor sport. Even ones into comics and video games. I am on the elusive search for one that likes all three. Seriously. If I can get 2 out of 3, I'll take her.

Just a thought about growth...Most people sort the GT6 Clubs & Leagues page by latest post. Therefore, if we had more discussion/participation on the thread, then the league would be near the top of the GT6 C & L page for most new comers. Don't people naturally click on the first couple of links on a site???

The more we "talk" the more exposure we have...just a thought.

Mornin...

The McLaren surprised me with it's grip and handling. Hopefully it's not a brand new experience for some of us. I found about the only place difficult to keep it in the boundary is the last high speed turn before the final chicane.
