I don't know that it would be point based, but I have no problem with that. Check the time slot for RGT Endurance series if you run Friday. It may be possible to have the combos up Tuesday early evening or before. Just depends. Monday is a stretch. Just post on here your start time once you see the schedule post for the upcoming Sunday. I doubt I can host so if you or whoever could simply name the room S.T.a.R. Racing League that would be gteat!

So this Sunday coming up is gonna be whatever it is. Then sometime during the week will be like a second chance to race it again and have more fun where one might otherwise have not on Sunday. And with no points involved, but the same rules all around, it should be a lot of fun. Only one rule change: Heavy Damage will be Light Damage when I host.

So if that starts at 22:00 EST, when should I start a room for this? How about the same as Sunday, 13:00 EST? If anyone has suggestions, lemme know.
 
What was the combo this week? Anyone wanna have a "Round 2" tomorrow afternoon? I'll try to be on around 13:00 EST​
 
My bad, I thought it was just pick any stock car for r3. I never thought I'd ever make a pick lol,,. I'll have a race car and track for you shortly
 
After some time of thinking about participating in star I decided that I can't participate any more on Sunday's. Most of NASCAR f1 etc races are on tv during time of star hours, and since I've been playing gt series last couple years and participated in heavy damage series, clubs 98% of the time I get damage from someone's else mistake which ruines my race, and most of the time I'm not putting my self in bad position so I'm sick of heavy damage, sick of practicing jst to have my race ruined in a minute, thx for letting me race in your league coach I had alot of gd times and respect for drivers in star, thx busted for what u do to. I'm still thinking about running rgt cup, it being longer race u can recover from getting damage, I'll pm u aqua fresh.

No more putting up with my whiny bs busted, haha grow up I've posted in this thread once in two weeks hav not raced with u for over a month and u call me whiny. busted grow up and fk off, maybe if u don't giv up and practice u would be competive so dont take it out on other ppl, btw learn how to host a professional league rm or go home.

This was uncalled for busted.. really uncool.. I might consider leaving if we have one of the main stewards publicly calling out someone who left for a totally legitimate reason and has the right to leave without being beat up about it.
Its supposed to be fun, a game.
 
Hi all, I will no Longer be racing with you due to similar reasons to kg. I have had enough with people making idiotic decisions, terrible track and car combo's, stupid rules and having no close racing at all. I wish you guys good luck in the future of the league and i have had some good times, thank you

Sounds like the upset remarks are coming after the switch to heavy damage. I always knew it was pointless. Yes, it's more real but for more fun we should stick with light damage.

Stupid rules? Not sure what that means. The OLR is gtplanet. I would have preferred you and kg simply said you would no longer race here due to schedule conflict or that you don't agree with the race settings. But to blame others, call the rules stupid, and subjectively criticize the combos is disrespectful and uncalled for.
Also, there is a procedure to follow in the OLR rules if you feel a driver caused an incident with you. Maybe your issues could have been addressed had you filed a Post Race Review. If I am not informed of "idiotic decisions" by other drivers, then I am unable to do anything about it. If you read the OP, then you knew the rules coming in.
Wish you the best 8. I hope you find a league without "stupid rules" & "terrible track and car combos". And drivers that don't make "idiotic decisions". Good luck with that. Thanks for playin'; goodbye.

It was Heavy at the start of this league. A temporary move to Light when the aggressive drivers complained it should be Light. They have left. I went back to Heavy because that is what I originally set up.
If [new] drivers read the OP they know the settings coming in. It should be no surprise. Reading the Good Racecraft Guide is a huge help.
I am looking for drivers who know the true meaning of good racecraft, mentally and physically. It's very simple actually. Don't take high risk maneuvers, give room, hold line, be patient, no over-aggressive driving, avoid contact, understand & follow the rules. An old baseball cliche applies: "Play the game right!"
If you look at our Drivers List now you will see their description in the paragraph above. Others will come and go. The ones that fit the above description will stay.

@BustedFoSho Please remove the drivers whom have gone, immediately.

Its ok to dc in one of six sprint races but not 40 laps into a race you've been preparing for all week. Anyhow, look forward to seeing you guys on track this sunday.

Great to have you back Whitey!! We are simply going thru some growing pains and weeding. We're barely over a 8 weeks old. Drivers will come and go. Those that can handle our rules and settings will stay, those that can't will go. I have taken the time (and hope to weekly) to write a PRE RACE NOTES. If people will just take the time to read such articles, a lot of this "stuff" would not be an issue. I feel very confident with the group we have now, as I always have. Our current drivers list is solid every one of them "Plays the game right!". Meaning, they honor the rules of racing, and respect the drivers around them, with the description I gave here.

This week coming up I am off Wed, Thurs, and Fri. Expect a secondary follow up room to be open at some point during those three days with a copy of this Sunday's car selection. No points. Light damage. Same everything else.
