Guess I'm only 1 not going to sell amg for 20 mil, nah I'll grind buy my fav cars when I hav credits and it will be more rewarding to me, so if u guys pick expensive cars for Sunday I'll won't be able to race

I am having such trouble getting going, keep getting the trophy error message. Got to the screen registration menu once, and it wouldn't recognize my controller or my wheel to enter.i keep hacking at it, must have restarted 20 times.

@Kgffy i agree wholeheartedly. using hacks to bypass the game is tempting, but im in it for the personal validation of grinding through the game organically and being excited about finally being able to buy that car ive had my eye on. Will keep the game interesting long term for me, however i fully understand why others are doing it and dont look negatively toward them at all.

I'm especially sympathetic since they took out all the prize cars. You received most of the high-priced cars (the premium ones anyway) as prizes in GT5 (apart from all the various LMPs). That doesn't seem so much the case anymore - 1200 cars and you can't afford to give some away? Takes away from the enjoyment of the game for me. It's a total grind now with next to no payoff. I'm only doing it to practice for online...

Same here. The prize cars have been disappointing as of late. Hope they improve. ..

I gather most of us aren't to be exact "exploiting a glitch" and those who are, are doing it to varying degrees. I like @Whitey093 take on it. Tolerance and understanding shows intelligence. Where @Kgffy would be to the right and @Whitey093 would be in the center I would probably be to the far left on the issue. The art of bypassing the games commands is part of the thrill for me.

Do you have a digital copy? I think I saw something about it EVERYWHERE lol. I recommend rebuilding your database first to fix fragmented files and it will tell you if data is corrupted have you tried deleting file reDL/Install? That sometimes does the trick. If none of that works heres the link for the retail patch, choose your source and follow these steps & if you need help there's usually a link provided.
Steps for 3.41 :
1- delete gamedata
2- verify that big file is not split on your internal drive
3- use Multiman 4.19
4- Start Multiman, select GT6 game and activate "USB-patch" option
5- start game.

I am starting to get the handle of these new physics. Tried the xbow at apricot hill reverse online. I was terrible and kept oversteering before i got the idea to drive it like a go kart. Bam to the top of the room with best lap. It is so hard to be delicate midturn on the ds3 now so i also tried holding 1 gear higher than i normally would and that has helped keeping the car smooth. These new physics are so challenging yet rewarding when you get it right. I cant wait to get things rolling. We should do an unofficial event this weekend at the normal time to get some practice in and start messing with different track and car combos.

How can I join in the league?
Welcome to STaR, Fabrico! Just follow the list below and you're in! You obviously have your GTP account so post your PSN ID and you color scheme and car number so I can add you to the DRIVERS LIST. Please no duplicate numbers (and color scheme if possible).

How Do I Join?!
1: Create a GTP account (be sure to include your PSN ID) & post a request to join us on the thread.
2: Look for a reply to your request
3: Run your TT and submit your time via private message to Luv2Coach
4: Read the OLR
and be sure to ask questions if you do not understand something.
5: Check the weekly line-up, get your cars ready, and prepare to have fun!!!

TT NOTE:
We are in transition to GT6 and have not established a TT for it yet. Please run your TT in GT5. I apologize for the inconvenience.

DECEMBER SCHEDULE

Ok, we have 3 weeks before the CS (championship series). I have come up with a 3-week schedule to help the transition from GT5 to GT6.

WEEK 1: Bathurst, BrandsHatch, Ascari. The only difficult section of Bathurst is from Brock's Skyline to Forest Elbow; otherwise easy to learn. BrandsHatch is relatively easy to learn with sweeping turns and only one or two sharp corners. Ascari is a beast and and most difficult. Ascari will be in Wk 1 & 3 for repetition with low PP cars.
WEEK 2 (22 DECEMBER): Silverstone, Willow Springs, Motegi Road Course.
If one learns the full course, it's easier to learn modified versions. Silverstone will be familiar to most due to the Academy. Willow Springs is not difficult at all with the sweeping turns. Motegi RC will be probably 50/50 or better with familiarity and is not too difficult either.
WEEK 3 (29 DECEMBER): Apricot Hill, Spa, Ascari.
Apricot Hill will be familiar to only a few ol' vets, but is rather simple to learn. Spa is somewhat challenging to the few who didn't have it. "The Beast" again in week 3 to try and tame the damn thing.

All of these tracks are "new" but in a schedule that shouldn't overwhelm our team (all STaR drivers). Also, most of the tracks are very "roomy"; a very good thing.
The Beast (Ascari) cannot be a prize choice until after session 1 is complete. Drivers MUST have that track at the same level as Deep Forest or Trial Mtn. Same goes for Matterhorn (I'm good w/ never running there; just my opinion).
The cars for week 1 will be the Rocket, Clio V6 24V '00, and the Honda FIT RS '10

Week 2 & 3 cars TBD

A great way to start taming The Beast is to run the final test in the ia license, Super License (bottom right of screen).

Indy circuit & Big Willow...I'm thinking about Beetle race car but I'll look at FIT. I'll get the car posted today.

S.T.a.R. League Championship Series (SLCS)

The SLCS is a 4 week series that follows the standard S.T.a.R. format. Points will be documented for each driver over the course of a "season". Each driver's point totals will be used to determine if he earns a spot in the "Finals" (a multi-class endurance race in week 5).

At the end of the season (week 5), the top 8 drivers in each division will race in the Endurance Race. Division 1 and 2 will drive separate classes of cars but will be on track together.

C'mon dude...

S.T.a.R. League Championship Series (SLCS)...its written:D

Ahh, @coach, last thing: can u put also PP please? so we know what to do about oil change...

Thx, im done stressing

I'm away from game now. Reply to my post with cars and tracks and put in the PP for the cars. I can't till late today/tonight

Lol, sorry, I just woke up. I figured it was something else. Does anyone have video capture software to upload youtube videos of the races?

Seems weird that the PP progression from first race to last is getting lower. I like it the other way around so as we race we get better around each other, and can race faster and faster.

These are just practice "fun" races so i wouldnt worry too much about that. We need to treat them seriously as far as working on racecraft, awareness and learning the tracks though. Thats most important

I was confused at first because I thought it was weird for the first S to stand for STaR. Never heard of an acronym being part of an acronym lol. Inception up in this bitch!

Fek...thought i was over with questions...:dunce:

Tyres Coach? CS on all 3 or SH/CS/CS?
Not sure about race 3 cause is a race car & didnt remember what was decision (last time SS on ITR...)

Thx
Remember this...? 💡
