That has to be the quickest time before I just didn't care anymore about a race. See you guys next week.
Guys listen,@Lessen works very hard I'm sure to make this series successful,do I like all the car and track combos we race on every week, absolutely not,but I can count on a couple of fingers the races I haven't finished and that's more because of my health issues than anything else, and I'm by far the slowest worst racer in the series but I still have a blast with you guys a enjoy the friends I end up making, just my thoughts
I just think we could show a little more support

Excluding races 1 incident in turn 1 this was one of my best nights in this series. I thrive on race 2. It's like race 1 is my real practice. It's great running with you guys and I'm grateful to run with some of you on multiple nights (yea I had to)

That final race was phenomenal!!! I can't see getting rid of that Merican machine just yet. Where we goin next with it? Olton park if the people would have it if like to take this car one more pass that to nurb sprint. Let's go fusion hang on for just a couple more weeks.

Bring on the voting!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The people need to say their piece!!!!

What happened?

This I wondered as well......

@irmopars if you're interested GTR runs on Saturdays too and we have some fast guys over there

I just had a bit on my mind and was not a fan of the combos. I just thought I would be better taking the night off then trying to race.

Yeah, just getting ready for a major change of my life. I am thinking of going to college this fall, and it has been creeping up on me, last night was just a little more then I could handle.

Drivers,

I am becoming increasingly disappointed in the level of commitment that I'm seeing on Tuesday nights. Outside of medical/family issues, the rage quitting and partial event participation is getting old. This is competition boys, and often times that involves losing and/or having rough days. It is what it is. It's time for some to make the hard decision. Are you in or are you out? Clear your schedule, empty your bladder and put on your man pants.

/rant.

Beaten by fatigue again last night. Some days Im so tired that Its really hard keeping focused and competitive for such a long time.
This right here is why I try to play drums or something like that before I get online. It helps get my body moving and awake. The 90 min races on Saturdays tests more than just your racing ability it pushes you to push yourself

This is why I had to put in place the rule for PSEC.

Drivers are to continue to race and put their best effort the entire race night.
  • Due to the unique nature of the series, this is to ensure that drivers are not left out that would have otherwise raced if given the chance
  • Of course real life situations occur from time to time as well as the random DC. This is not meant to penalize the occasional situation.
  • Continued repeat violation of this regulation will be managed at the discretion of the Series Director.

I usually go for a bike ride before the race,I try to do a mile, but then that doesn't do my back any good,it's kinda like being between the rock and the hard place

Move the rock  you gotta work smart not hard man. Just kidding it's actually pretty interesting to hear everyone's pre race routine. I'm actually thinking of putting together a drivers interview on google forms to give some info for recap videos over at PSEC

I play drums guitar do vocals or go fishing before a race

I usually sleep before race time, feels good.

Enjoy, ONLY YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, I'M ALWAYS HERE TO HELP.

Anyone can get up to the level of fast drivers, thing is are you willing to get there without giving up?

HERE IT IS!!!!! The new PSEC app.

Since we run live weather for practices and the race(or as close as we can) We have a weather app directed at the location of the next race along with social wall special to the app. Scoring will be kept current on there as well as any photos that we get from the races.

I look forward to expanding this app I plan to link all YouTube accounts that stream live onboards so that you can watch the race from other drivers views and highlights and news updates for the series will also be in future updates for the PSEC APP. It's free and has no ads. It doesn't even need to be downloaded just follow below for your device.

My lack of interest is based on the sometimes extremely limited choices we are given of cars and seemingly random combos that result due to the odd track/car voting process.

I admire your commitment and hard work involved in running this series but it just seems like when you want everyone to run a Ruf then, by golly, that's the only choice we are given. 4 Rufs up for voting? And the time where it was Atom or Atom.

And there seems to be very little research or testing in how fun the combos will be for the participants.

Other series I have been apart of (and run) offered combos that were pre-tested and a known good match for handling, fun, and most important, fun in traffic battling door to door.

Most people seem to enjoy it but it just wore me down.

Just my opinion.

In my very personal humble opinion, i think you should take it a little easier Lessen, after all, this is just a video game and the main reason people play it is because Its entretaining and provides good fun moments.
Unfortunately, there's issues that remove the main feed of our presence, the fun, and work related fatigue, for instance, is definitely one of them.
One of good sides of sim racing is the fact that you don't have to answer to sponsors, team owners or fan clubs leaving the enjoyment of fun the only locomotive for your presence.
In the event of a waiting list of fierce ready-to-go players that want to join this competition, i think it's only fair to demand some more commitment but until then, I think you should sit back and enjoy the magnificent work you have done so far by turning a group of 5 or 6 into the fantastic croud you have right now.
Cheers.
..

Sorry about the race 4, lap 2, turn one incident last night, one of my kids pulled my headphones off as i was coming into the corner to let me know about an "emergency" I had to deal with.

I too would like to see more choice in cars, but, it's not my league. I race here for the comradery of my online buds and to kick Aeros ass, not to mention giving DesertChicken a hard time whenever possible. Lesson has put a lot of effort into this league and that should be respected, but for the league to grow, there has to be some fluidity in trying different things to make the league more attractive to outsiders.
We have all quit a race at one time or another, to me it's not that big of a deal. For whatever reason, sometimes it's just not your night and you would rather be elsewhere. Sometimes it's a rage quit after someone did a dirty to you. Better to quit than to rant in the room.
Ice-Joe, this league is not for you, that's cool and I respect that you posted your feelings. Too bad, we had some good battles along the way. I felt like I was just turning laps the other night. I was alone on the track by myself a lot of the time. it was still fun though.
Austindecker, I guess that suspension worked, superfarginclean now and fast, pffft. Love the livery guide.
Where was GTR and Mopar? I saw them both at the start and then when I turned around, poof, there they were, gone. They are in their own little league up front. Zoom zoom.
Time to vote, hmmmmmmmmm? I wish that was the Clio instead of the Megane.

Jeez, I want to vote out one car but, I don't want to drive either of my other choices. Sigh.

@Schmiggz Thank you for the kind words.

The only thing I will disagree with is that size of the league should have any bearing on the expectation that all drivers should come to put in their best effort. This is a league after all, not random public lobbies. I absolutely LOVE all the laughing and ribbing that happens on the mics on race night, but I do expect the racing to be taken seriously, whether we're 6 drivers or 26 drivers. As a series director representing the SNAIL brand, I believe that is only fair.

To everybody else,

I understand not everybody is going to love the format. That goes for any format. It is always sad to see drivers walk away, but if it's not their cup of tea, it's not their cup of tea. Whether its sprint races, endurance races, highly tested combos, random combos or whatever. There will always be differing opinions. If the day ever comes in which it is feasible to FAIRLY put combo selection in the hands of decorated drivers, then the format will transition.

It probably does not help that I am a controller user and my "feel" of a car is probably much different than most everybody else with a FFB wheel. :indiff:

On another note, I got a big ole box from Crutchfield.com that is awaiting my attention... :D
