My definition of interesting was if RacingOtaku86 had crashed you may have showed up on his map, assuming he uses the same map I use. Then he might have gotten nervous and crashed again. Then you 2 could have had a battle. You finished +32.908 and your last lap was an 8:40 and his was an 8:25. So, roughly half of the lead he had over you at the finish was made on the last lap. Now, wasn't that interesting? :D

I knew they were close as they both lapped me at the end.
Not sure if i was ghosted or not, so i got out of their way (which was easy to do )

Are you using the program on your pc (driver) to adjust the settings within the firmware on the wheel?

I have not been, but i know it is there. On their support page Thrustmaster say that it will not work with GT6, unless i misunderstand it.

Psycho (ignore the triple post), that Turtle Logo on your Video is top notch. @jay*doc would be proud.

mic went and did a triple bogey, woo hoo! I like the look of the logo, simple and clean. I got it awhile back somewhere on the internet for a couple of bucks. I didn't make it myself, but I'm glad you like it nonetheless.

Pictures will be up tonight, Not as many pictures though.

Im 50/50 for this saturdays races. But we will see

Happy Super Bowl Week Turtles!
No, not 50/50! You WILL be there! :D
This is just a teaser. Hopefully, I will get a chance to do the whole race. Use Google Chrome at 720 60p

Excellent video so far. I especially enjoy watching at 0:55.

I don't believe you were ghosted. Regardless, I saw you simply continue straight at a corner without really an attempt to turn when caught you. Probably easy enough for you.

Ehh I don't know we will see! Super Bowl Weekend! :sly:

Race is Saturday. Super Bowl is Sunday. I fail to see the problem. :sly: (Besides...who really wants to watch the Seahawks and Patriots anyway (other than their fans)?)
 yeah however I might go to a hockey game so we aren't sure yet. I'll try to make it

On other note, the guy who is doing my wrap for my new racecar sent me a picture of Design Update #2 it's getting their!

when you find out, let me know if it can be set to a fixed degrees in gt6 from your experience and if so, i'll certainly try it. Once i read the support page, i didn't even bother messing with it.

Nice writeup! Though I wouldn't go so far as to say I really kept things interesting with Racing...Other than the one lap I was ahead due to pit strategy, he pretty much had my number. :P

Once I got used to the car and track, my DS3 wasn't too bad (D-pad FTW! :D) On worn tires, however...:ill:

Interesting in the sense that we were close to each other for a lap. Probably the closest gap at the time.

How the F do you drive like that with the d-pad? Not even the analog stick? Dude, you're old skool!

I used to be pretty good myself with a ds3, but not the freaking D-pad to steer. Holy digital PS1 crap.

I used a D-Pad in Gran Turismo 1, 2, and part of 3 before I trained myself to use the sticks.

Years and years of using it. Old school indeed. I hate being forced to use it in other racing games (I also don't like the fact that my stick is starting to leak whatever the hell it is (some type of lubricant? glue?))

I don't think it's glue; if it was, it would be sticky. I should crack mine open and clean it good. It's apparently pretty easy to do, and my only fear of doing that is reattaching the back shoulder buttons (with their springs). Otherwise, all you need is a Philips head screwdriver, Q-tips, and Isopropyl alcohol (maybe a few other things too).

I think that had to do with the condition of his tires.

Does anyone have any tips for this combo? I can get around the track ok, just not fast. Someone ran a 1:41 after the Circuito de la Otaku race. I'm not close enough to that to even worry about getting close to that.

Times won't matter in this race all about pit strategy but tips to get those faster lap times is never over brake esepcailly into the last turn left, right then to the swoop turn. Then try to brake all first then go all throttle out of the turn. slow in fast out kinda applys here but you can push the car in pretty fast in just not too fast.

A few of the slower turns requires late apexing. Late apexing with this car can gain you a Lot of speed out of the turns

As some of you have noticed, there is no race scheduled for February 14th as it's Valentine's Day. Are there enough single people in here that would still want to race that evening? I have a race planned for IF there is enough interest that night. Otherwise, enjoy your wives, girlfriends, cats, dogs...

The key to getting the 1:41 lap is in the final Chicane. Just past the wall you see on the left (pit entry on the right), you cut across the grass just so and you'll end up back on the track just past the chicane, ready for the final right hander to the finish line. Shaves about 5 seconds off your lap time. I learned it grinding the Red Bull races when i spun and had to catch up to the leaders.

Oh man, I shouldn't have asked. If I could have figured out a way to get to 1:41 without cutting the chicane I would have been hard to beat. Would anyone mind if I cut the chicane during the race if I spin a get behind? If you don't answer I am going to assume that is a yes. Btw, that dancing pickle/watermelon/cucumber thing is great, where did you get that?

I couldn't resist.

With the program you can also see the travel of the pedals. That's how I found out the potentiometers were going bad because on the display the graph was jumping around
