I like the "Online Dealership" feature. Made my day so much better.

As soon as I downloaded the patch, I went straight there. To my surprise, I found the car I've been looking forever for - KPGC10 :)

They corrected the tail lights on the '91 Acura NSX! That's all I needed to see to be happy with this update.

It's really nice to see that hud can be removed but still hoping that someday we could choice ourself which information we would like to see when racing. It's kind of total if turning all hud off, would be lovely to see just laptimes and maybe gears and speed 'monitor', then hud would be perfect for many racers I think. Anyway, great patch with all new things!

Finally PD is starting to listen to us! All hope is not lost!

x2

Most of my complaints have been rectified in this patch. I haven't touched GT5 in almost a week, but I can't wait to get off work today so I can go play!

Can anyone confirm whether PD have fixed the weird behaviour of the dashboard gauge needles on cars such as Nissan Silvia S13?

Is it only me having problems with loadings? It stuck 3 times while loading a menu or season races menu. I don't know if it is a problem with that update, my ps3 hard drive ( i doubt it) or my internet connection(my internet provider is screwing around with me today). Is this actually possible(talking about internet connection)?

Maybe its me, but they seem to have tweaked the physics a bit. Grinding on the american indy course I noticed my tires heated up faster and at the end of the straights I was able to hit about 3-4 mph faster than before. My lap times were more consistent as well. I think they increased the grip on at least the soft racing tires.

And this isn't just the car being "broken in". The last race I did yesterday this wasn't happening.

Does the on dash speed gauge work for anyone else with the Stealth Mclaren F1? I'v been driving it a bit and notice that the needle no longer moves as I accelerate. Just wondering if this is me or are others experiencing the same thing.

Hmmm... interesting. I wonder if anyone else can confirm? I wonder if their life span has been shortened.

Previously I had come across a thread talking about the longevity of soft and medium slicks and the poster commented that the soft slicks were lasting longer than the medium slicks while lapping Indianapolis.

Hehe, online dealership....hmm a couple of DTMs...

Oooo, hello, FGT at 4.98mil...

Kinda a slap in the face to those who waited forever for the FGT to show up in the used dealership, and now its easily found in the online dealership...

Those still got it before the ones who bought it with 1.05
And still better than another gazillion threads complaining that the FGT can't be found in UCD.

I dont know about that, but now you are not forced to cut the gas completely between shift, half throttle will do the trick :)

Clutch is still very much on-off. A little past half-way on my G25. I don't see that changing in like ever. Only other racing game/sim I have tried with full clutch slip modelling is Live for Speed which is ...yeah, in a different league for better and worse.

And I drool over your news of no more 0% throttle for shifting. Will test ASAP.

One thing they haven't bothered with. The ability to save mid championship so that you don't have to do the whole damn session all at once.

Someone help me out with this 'cause I can't tell if I'm imagining it... has the dreadful fuzzy line between car body and tire smoke been improved? I'm looking at it right now in photo mode, and while it hasn't been completely eliminated, the line seems to be far closer to the car making it less noticeable.

The force feedback is better on the X1. It used to see-saw down straights at Indy. Doesn't do that anymore.

Normally I wouldn't criticize another poster, but WHAT?

lol. I read that a couple of times and it hurt my brain. :ouch:

This update makes me want to freeze myself and see what this game will be like in a year. They're trying, which is more than can be said for most developers. I bet all the kinks will be ironed out eventually. :)
