Very true. Most of the best run 148 MAYBE

I've recently started running at Indy and the trap speeds have been a good reference for making some of my tunes but I've got one question:
Are the trap speeds for a "good" tune or for the best tune that you have or have seen?
I ask because on what I've done so far I'm in 2-4 mph off some of the tunes. If I'm 2-4 off average I'm in trouble but if I'm that's all im off the best tunes I'm doing too bad for a former ssr7 guy.
Well those are what I'm currently getting. I thought I should put what some good "average" speeds are but then I would have to make guess-timates as to what they would be and might not be accurate. 2-4mph isn't bad tho 👍
I disagree.. 2-4mph can be 2-4cars and in a 1/4mile 2-4 cars is HUGH.
also lets not forget mph isn't everything I've had people tell me they have a higher trap speed than me, but I beat them by half track lol.
I've had that happen before. Some of my cars used to have a garbage launch but I would have a higher trap speed and still lose.
Speed 12 = perfect example
But it the tunnel the speed 12 will beat a enzo with very bad launch and lower top speed lol because of its monster acceleration.

tunnel = FAIL
He probably never has, or he tried it once and couldn't cut it so he left.DaLightninRacer;6101423
And how many times did you go to the tunnel?

Honestly, that has to be the single most ignorant and pathetic attempt at flamebaiting I've ever seen. You know, from what I've heard, a well tuned, tunnel tuned car will be able to keep up, even beat, most Indy tuned cars. Maybe that's it, he's just sore a mildly adapted tunnel car kicked his 1/5 mile Indy car's arse to hell and back.tunnel = FAIL
Well yea, once it hooks, cars that are behind it will stay there...

Isn't it almost the same with Indy?if you could spawn at the tunnel i would have stayed but it just gets annoying driving all the way there
i used to drag there 24/7 in my Honda racing days, then i fell in love with Indy <3
you can't compare SS7 tunes to Indy... we top out at 155-160 and u guys are doing 200+.... if a indy car raced at the tunnel it would lose and same with Indy if it was a tunnel tune.
We still do that occasionally. 👍 But for the most part we race the whole tunnel.i don't have a problem with SS7 racers but when i raced there we ran to the 2nd green light (1/4 mile) not the full tunnel.
