Hey you forgot one car on that list the 2010 Redbull X1 and 2011 Redbull X1 but its not a street car but i drag race with too

I mean, seriously, you would get kicked in 99% of all drag lobbies when you bring out your X1.

I've recently started running at Indy and the trap speeds have been a good reference for making some of my tunes but I've got one question:
Are the trap speeds for a "good" tune or for the best tune that you have or have seen?
I ask because on what I've done so far I'm in 2-4 mph off some of the tunes. If I'm 2-4 off average I'm in trouble but if I'm that's all im off the best tunes I'm doing too bad for a former ssr7 guy.

Well those are what I'm currently getting. I thought I should put what some good "average" speeds are but then I would have to make guess-timates as to what they would be and might not be accurate. 2-4mph isn't bad tho 👍

I disagree.. 2-4mph can be 2-4cars and in a 1/4mile 2-4 cars is HUGH.

also lets not forget mph isn't everything I've had people tell me they have a higher trap speed than me, but I beat them by half track lol.

I've had that happen before. Some of my cars used to have a garbage launch but I would have a higher trap speed and still lose.

Well when you are racing with the best of the best, everyone traps the same, but its how fast you get there. Yet 2-4mph away is not bad and WAY WAY better than those who just buy the parts and haven't event went into the tuning menu.

Speed 12 = perfect example :D

Tunnel and fail don't go in the same sentence, You might just be upset because You can't tune for tunnel.

tunnel = FAIL :dunce:
 Honestly, that has to be the single most ignorant and pathetic attempt at flamebaiting I've ever seen. You know, from what I've heard, a well tuned, tunnel tuned car will be able to keep up, even beat, most Indy tuned cars. Maybe that's it, he's just sore a mildly adapted tunnel car kicked his 1/5 mile Indy car's arse to hell and back.

you can't compare SS7 tunes to Indy... we top out at 155-160 and u guys are doing 200+.... if a indy car raced at the tunnel it would lose and same with Indy if it was a tunnel tune. i don't have a problem with SS7 racers but when i raced there we ran to the 2nd green light (1/4 mile) not the full tunnel.

i used to drag there 24/7 in my Honda racing days, then i fell in love with Indy <3

Racing Honda's at SSR7 = Fail. Should've been racing a Hyundai, it molests Civic's & Integra's all day long.

Why don't you ask slashfan, DLR, and the Indy guys about how quick mine or the other GME tunnel tunes are on Indy. Go and do some research through the GT5 section here with Indy guys running their mouths about how 🤬 tunnel racers are only to get their butts handed to them over a 1/4 mile with a GME tunnel tune by me, d2 or cooldude. Don't make the same mistake they made thinking that tunnel tunes don't work at Indy.

We still do that occasionally. 👍 But for the most part we race the whole tunnel.

I don't get this whole tunnel vs indy thing they are 2 different races on 2 different roads I prefer the original 1/4 mile race so I race Indy I also enjoy the friends I race with one indy I have seen a few tunnel people join (for some unknown reason) an indy room talk crap then leave whats the point of this just race your preferred race and shut up why's everyone gotta start drama on a game?@?@?

Isn't it almost the same with Indy?

I think it's quicker to get to the tunnel, but I guess if you don't race back through the tunnel the other way and respawn every time to avoid collisions it can get tedious. If there's a lot of people at the tunnel I'll respawn and drive back. At least at Indy there's lots of room to drive back to the start line though some morons still can't seem to accomplish that simple task without hitting people trying to race
