Here's one of my favorites

I went to Walmart and tried looking for thread cases to hold my cars, but I didn't have any luck. :grumpy:

I wasn't really interested in looking at HWs or MBs, but I did find an M2 and an Auto World, both of which I put back in favor of a 1:24 car. Before going to Walmart, I tried TRU, but had no luck there. :indiff:

Speaking of M2's, I really want the 1:64 Chevy Apache pickups they have bundled with the 1:24 versions but I don't want the big trucks. Grrr. None separated and listed on eBay yet...

I know exactly how you feel. Although truthfully, I'd rather have the 1:24 than the 1:64.

Is this the only casting they're doing such a thing with so far?

If you want the big ones, maybe we can make a deal. I think they sell for $20, I'll take the small trucks and sell you the big ones for half price + shipping.

Hmm....

I actually wouldn't be against doing that, but I'd have to wait a month or two to make sure I could be able to pull it off. Do you have a specific price yet?

I've been looking, but I can't even find those 1/24-1/64 combos. :grumpy:

I've never seen them at the physical stores. Every time, I had to order from walmart.com, then have them ship it to the store nearby with free shipping.

Does it cost anything to buy them online or is it a deal where you order them, then when they're shipped to a store, you pay for them as if they're just another product in the physical store?

That now makes it tough, because I won't be able to do anything this month. :irked:
I might still buy them when I get back from my work trip and then throw the big trucks on eBay. If they don't sell by the time you can get them, then we can work something out.

I'll give it some thought in the coming days, explore my options and see what I can do. I should have something for you bu week's end. :)

You pay the amount advertised online, that's it. It's been a while, but I think you pay online electronically, then show a picture ID, maybe the card you used to purchase it, along with your order number at your local Walmart store.

Sounds complicated, but it really isn't. Only thing to watch for is even if the store is open 24 hours, order pickup is available only from mornings to evenings. If the case is $8 each or whatever, that's all you pay per-case, which is a really good deal. 👍

Want and regret, Kevin. Want and regret. :P

I can redirect your interest in black GL cars to the somewhat cool indycar on daboxtoys. It might still be in stock for $3.

edit: Sold out. That '63 300 is still in stock though!

@AOS- I think I'll pass on those. :P Although...now that I think of it...I am tempted by the Shelby GT500, wish I picked up dark blue one with white stripes in the GL Muscle series. Not big on the white with light blue stripes coming out now. :indiff:
