I was looking at crosssea's stuff this morning before the sale. He had all 3 Seibu Keisatsus. Wasn't planing on doing any Black Friday shopping. Looks like I just did, but only saved me a measly $15. Niche hobbies just can't take advantage of culture-wide shopping events.

Awesome. Which Keisatsus? DR30? Police cars? Hopefully you used the Lamley link, and sorry I get all obsessive about that. We are among friends here, right?

And the savings are worth it. TLV rarely gets discounted, especially models that have been out awhile. Watch for the damaged box sale later. If that goes well, I bet we can get them to more damaged box sales in the future. And knowing the crew here, box condition matters little, especially when you can save 50%.

I picked up the RS-1 and RS-3 Skyline 2000 Turbo. Red/black body with sirens.

edit: Scratch that, the RS-2 has no $5 discount, but I grabbed it as well. Haven't found a good reason to grab 3 nearly identical cars, but I'll find a reason soon.

And the savings are worth it. TLV rarely gets discounted, especially models that have been out awhile. Watch for the damaged box sale later. I can comply. I still have all my Kyoshos, but the CM's cars I've been picking up recently either don't have the original boxes (thank you pallaszg), are missing or damaged. In my last order, some of them came with no box at all. I'm honestly amazed that people don't keep a product's own storage unit.

I gave in because PayPal has this thing now where they wait 14 days to process your payment. Unfortunately for some reason it didn't do it for me this time so I might be in trouble come rent time. This just means Cano has to pay for his stuff.

After I bought my RL Toyota Crown, I saw several Corona's pop up on Craigslist. Always liked them, but with one project car, I'll take a model instead. I'll have to hope another Celica pops up again on sale. I love the angry taillights. Also...next time, I need to add my money to my PayPal.

Edit: I was thinking of picking up that Skyline too. But something about the wheels seemed a little meh. And I think I'm already on a Skyline overload. Although I still want an R33 badly... Also curse you @R1600Turbo for taking my Celica! I added it to my cart, but didn't fall through with it!

Kind of disappointed that 3 of the 4 cars are white. Need some color!

I'll never give up on the mainline hot wheels, but my focus has definitely shifted towards more premium stuff(RLC HWs, TLVs, AW, GL, etc.). When you think about it, that's a pretty natural course in any hobby.

I have the white one(that early 80's one), but I really wanted the beige, and also the gray of the newer Corolla. If they were around $30, I'd have pulled the trigger, but yeah, $44 was still too high for me as well. For some reason, those two Corolla castings are really coveted.

Shelby was part of a large purchase & the car itself was $6. R382, $15, shipped. Neither a particularly good deal.

Edit: Lupin Fiat on the other hand, probably $4~$5, including its share of the combined shipping from AmiAmi in Japan. Great buy, very cool car.
