Great buys! Love the last one. Did you use the Lamley link? (I will always ask.)

@a6m5 I love me some of that practicality. ;) Along with the 70's-80's Japanese sedan shapes. TLV just needs to make many more wagons, then I'll blow my bank account. And a Kujira Crown!

I did for the ones that were on sale for Cyber Monday. Chose the Cedric, Leopard, and Mark II whilst browsing Japan Booster's store. I'm addicted to stuff I haven't even seen in person yet. Then again, it's better than doing that with Kickstarter.

Found this today. Having second thoughts on it, though...

Why was my immediate reaction "That's not real"?

This is the one I've seen. In the exact same box. If there is an absence of a livery and name on both cars and base, I have to question why the box specifies a rally event!

You can find more pics of tha yellow SX4 here: http://ramune718.blog22.fc2.com/blog-entry-1012.html

edit: I really ought to stop getting involved with social groups with so many dummies. Just now, I managed to write a short essay debating how collectors should learn when to draw the line on what should/shouldn't be considered errors.

I noticed that the Gazoo wasn't in huge demand despite it being an 86 made by Kyosho smeared with identifiable logos and stickers. How much of your wallet did you surrender for it?

My AmiAmi order for this month is getting out of control, especially now I added this:

Kenmeri just may be my favorite Skyline/GT-R, and while this Car-Nel brand looks to be a hit & miss at best, the rear(my favorite part of this car) looks so money I just couldn't turn it down. I have Hakosuka in the mail form this Car-Nel now, but I won't see it for probably another couple of weeks.

Oh and the Toyota I ordered from Japan Booster arrived today too.
My instant reaction: WTF is that!?

I like 86/FR-S/BRZ. I like them, but I'm not a big fan or anything. This racer looks really cool though. Nice buy. 👍

I also wondered this. Outside AmiAmi, Japan Booster has the lowest price around, and seriously, please do use the Lamley link, because it is indeed the Lamley connection that entice Japan Booster to make more TLVs & Kyoshos available to us overseas. 👍

$20 all up after shipping. You could probably find one cheaper somewhere else but I thought it was fine.

Yeah those Car-Nel's look good but the price. I'll pass, thanks. Still looking forward to seeing your pics of it. 👍

I hear you. They seem well detailed, but how are they put together? Looks bit questionable for sure. I preordered both Skylines, just because I didn't want to miss out, but to be honest, only assurance I've had for their high cost has been how quickly the Hakosuka(released last month) sold out. I hope the same for the white Kenmeri. Was it Johnny who gets confused between Kenmeri & Hakosuka?

I appreciate it. Akiyo at Japan Booster is really happy with how things played out this weekend. He has never been busy, and he knows a lot of traffic came from buyers here, who used the link. I see more damaged box sales in the future. Hopefully he finds damaged boxes on models like the Transporter and others. ;-)

Think it was and didn't he combine both of the names once? Hakomeri or Kenosuka or something like that?! And totally forgot that you had a Hakosuka on order. Pictures when it arrives please man. 👍

"Y'know, we could always make arrangements for that. Excuse me while I'll grab a few box cutters over here..."

Soon as no one's looking-*RIIIIIIIIP*

"How much now? It's ripped. I don't buy ripped boxes."

Don't think it's particularly sought after or valuable

Actually, it is both sought after and valuable. The Ferrari Racers weren't around for a long time, and because it's Ferraris with CM6 wheels, you bet there's money on that.... just like the Speed Machines.

The gold Enzo AFAIK can fetch you top dollar among the cast.

I've yet to get the red Dino 246 and the 308 GTS Quattrovavolvoloyolollograms.

Congrats on the find. That's a 333 I'd actually like to have.

They're keepers, man. :) That's why you don't see a lot of them. The people who sell it are either clearing inventory or trying to find a sucker.

I've yet to get the red Dino 246

The only one I ever bought from that series as it was a new casting at the time and such. Always wanted to destroy it to fix the horrible wheels poking outta the car, but the Boulevard one came along so I never did. Still, terrible casting.

I came close to doing that with the yellow ferrari racer I got, but I've never seen one pop up on eBay ever.

With all the other things I'm on a lookout for, that 246 is pretty far down the list now.

Eh btw, I know I came here a week ago with all that "I'm gonna clean my cars and slap pics here" thing, but I've been quite busy lately and all my free time has been going to preparing customs for this saturday's contest. Once that's done I'm not even going to look at customs for quite some time. There are two Zeldas I need to finish. You'll see moar pics then.

We're all busting our grapes and wallets on this hobby, regardless of income.

Well, I'm not the type of person that has to get the super limitet, extra super-duper awesome models.

Yet, you've got some highly popular releases in those drawers. Are you sure you're not that type of person? :sly: j/k

2007 Beads Collections #6481B
TAKATA DOME 2006 NSX "I didn't post this yet" Super GT.

2008 Beads Collection #6591C
TAKATA DOME 2007 NSX "Yellowed bottom" Super GT.

Spot the difference? Can ya? Can ya? No ya can't! Betchu can't.

You mean the speed machines and the Ferrari racers? I got those because I liked the model per se and I had never gotten my hands on the mainline ones. Iirc they were around 3-4€ when I bought them.
