I have a few ice cream trucks in my collection, and that one's one of my favorites. đź‘Ť
I like the wheels on it, but that's about it for the version I got. I got it more to have the complete set of the series than by personal choice.

I like a lame joke.

I'm pretty curious now, how much would one of those go for?

If you look in popular places, well over $20 still (probably).

I was able to find mine for $16 after traveling through jungles and mines to more deserted stores. Then there's the MK.II that will snatch a bit more than that:

As long as I get more GT40s, price doesn't matter until it gets to $50. Then that's where I get a little antsy and indecisive.

EDIT:

The Moon logo. Car now uncarded. :grumpy:

This black one looks quite nice. đź‘Ť

Ya mon. This orange one does too:

I'm going to give it a black bumper strip. It needs it so badly. I still don't like black bumper strips in general, but I think I'm starting to like it on older cars.

Jokes aside, I've got another black one:

Really wanted a red one, but they've been harder to come by.

That Porsche is my next target on the list (in any colour)

Oh, i aslo forgot to mention @a6m5 , i found another Datsun wagon (mesh grill). You should come to the UK, where we get brand new HW's designs straight away!

I hate Spike Lee with passion, but do the right thing.

I'm working on it! I know I'm close!

I'm a close friend of Spike Lee.. He's displeased with your statement and has promised to deploy an army of 'Radio Raheems', to block your every move on finding a Datsun Wagon. :grumpy:
I don't know what that is, but this block you speak of, just in case you haven't noticed, it is made out of reinforced concrete, and it is very real. P.S. Spike sucks, Reggie rules & I'm out!

:P

The stores in my area suck, no new cars at both Walmarts. I'll try other stores on Tuesday when I have a two day weekend.

So I got some stuff in the mail today.

Sorry about the dark picture(s)

Now what the heck do I do with them? I was really only after the BMWs, but thought I'd bid on more cars since I was already paying the postage. The Siku Audi 100 SL is getting a restoration job.The paint is not horrible, but the windshield's a bit cracked and the front axle is bent. Also the steering wheel is orange. Orange for chris'sakes.

The Majorette VW K70 is also getting a restoration job eventually since it's shedding paint like nobodies business.

The Majorette Datsun is probably staying the way it is. The paint is fine and while the tampos aren't perfect they're just so undeniably 70's I love them. It's an awful casting anyway so I'm not fussed.

The Majorette 733 is also staying the way it is. Other than a few paint chips it's perfect.

What do I do with the 3.0 CSI though? I'd like to keep the original red color on it, but there's a fair amount of chips there. Thoughts?

Do you guys ever wake up at three in the morning, because too much blanky, then you end up ordering one of these Tomica Limited Vintage on eBay from your smartphone?

Been actually wanting one for awhile, but you rarely see one. I have the Idemitsu tanker, but I'll likely get rid of it now.
So I got some stuff in the mail today.
Wow. Nice change of pace. Brands different, but so are the actual models(very European). đź‘Ť
New Kyoshos have arrived the store today. Weeeeee!!!
Lucky you................. That McLaren & Alfa.

Second last car, dark green, that's the Audi? Looks like it'd actually make a sick lowrider...

Fourth one down. Sorry about that. That is the fourth one down. :dunce:

Edit: My favorite was the last two, but you are right, I like the stance.

There might be more of that occasionally from me. I've stopped buying new cars now because I don't like the new castings, they're getting more and more expensive here and while shops used to carry Matchbox, Majorette and Siku in addition to Hot Wheels they're all getting phased out in favor of only Hot Wheels.

So my new game plan is to try and sell off a bunch of the cars I don't necessarily like that much anymore (there was a time where I bought anything that I found remotely interesting) and just keep and buy the things I really like. So basically BMW's and sometimes other things. I think I'll probably be after a lot of older castings now since I have most new BMW's. I'm going the way of the Cano.

It already looks a bit like one since the casting itself is already low and the axle is bent.

Been there, done that. As the collection grow, you start wanting to shed the excess & refine the selection. đź‘Ť

Don't do absolutely nothing, not a tyhing, with any of them. Theya re all still in too good of a shape to destroy them. Yes even the chipped ones like the red BMW. And specially do not, I repeat, DO NOT touch the Siku Audi.

I'm going the way of the Cano.

Welcome to the club, ask away.

 I thought that this is the kind of reply I might get. It's one of the reasons I posted them.
Alright Cano, I guess I do have enough other things to butcher for now. :mischievous:

EDIT: Also, what happened to opening doors? I love castings that have opening doors, but they're just not a thing anymore.

Most of the cars you got are actually pretty damn hard to come by. You know I'm big on vintage Majorettes, yet I'm missing from the 7-series BMW onward, the freaking VW is not common at all, and the red BMW is a early release due to "flower" wheels instead of 3-spokes.

And don't even get me started on the Siku. Two words: black wheels.

The only car that is common as tree leafs is the BMW 7, but yours looks to be almost mint. I have five of those, two (wheel vary) minty ones, three that will see the axe because, well, let's say they're dirty zamac-coloured now.

How much for all?

How much for all?

3,23$ for the red BMW 3.0 CSI
1,25$ for the VW K70
3,75$ for the Datsun
4,38$ for the Audi
8,14$ for the BMW 7 series

Those prices sure do look messy due to conversion from euros.
I like how I paid most for the BMW 7 (I really quite wanted it) which, as you say, is the most common, yet I was the only bidder on the VW.

I thought you had purchased them as a lot. All in all good prices with the exception of the BMW on which you got absolutely ripped off. The Audi was a specially good deal.

I've seen a lot of these online but the shipping to America/Mexico is absolutely laughable, thus making all these cars prohibitively expensive. Even so, I've bought a couple of lots that contained cars that justified the price/shipping fee enough to bring them over.

Luckily, they aren't thaaaaaat hard to find here, but the really rare models (like your VW) command big money if you buy them with someone who knows what's up.

What can I say, I hate losing a bid war.
They were from the same seller, so the shipping was combined. Which is another reason I paid as much for the BMW as I did. Don't know when the next opportunity to get one like it is going to come, so might as well.

Ah, then it was a good deal overall. The money (over)spent on the BMW is well compensated on the Datsun and, specially, on the K70.

Yeah, there's no way I'm paying shipping for single cars. Shipping from Germany to Slovenia might be way cheaper than to Mexico (I guess), but I'm not that desperate for a few cars.
