3) You get a crappy quality car like the Jeep I got today. Now I'm forced to buy another.

Hence why I like to see and touch them in the store before I purchase. Yes the internet has it's advantages, but it also has it's negatives. We can't ignore the negatives, it's not the best thing in the world. But I'm picky, slightly OCD, and I'm sure there are a lot of people around here that don't care about the issues like I do.
Oh, definitely. I wasn't trying to omit some inconvenient truth, but I thought it had been well established in some of the recent discussion. Even with Hot Wheels, which I think has consistent assembly, but tampo placement can be really off.

To be honest though, I rarely notice cars with less than ideal stance, even in person. Like with my infamous Maisto 2015 "Irene" Mustang.

Underneath it says:

That's the most I could find on it. I couldn't even find info on the company.

I couldn't give up researching.

@SVX; yours actually looked like this.

If my I'm correct, I belive it to be a Pininfarina Modulo. Or a concept car by Pininfarina for Ferrari in 1970, the 512S Modulo. I don't know who exactly did the die cast, but I know Corgi and Politoys both made examples of the car.

(I like researching things.)

This concludes the rest of the CM's acquired in 2014.

Mark me down as another who hadn't seen that last Stratos before, very nice. Congrats on completing your Matchbox Exige collection too. 👍

Thanks, Spaceboat.

I gave you guys links to that HobbyTalk forum post before. Those guys expand to a larger range of diecasts than we do. Guys should've taken a look! ;) I know about as much about CM's as that thread can tell any one of us!

I have over 5000 cars that I still need to dig out, but I'm open for trading if anyone wants to trade with me!

Who's that BMW by? It looks darn good.

EDIT: I HATE MY AUTOCORRECT!

All the best in the New Year, guys!

It was great spending time with you here - this thread is a veritable encylopedia of cars . . . here's to wasting more money throughout 2015 and bringing the thrash in here to brag.

A special Happy New Year to SVX, Cano, a6m5, Jason, Andy, Jarrod, Sonygamer, Apok, Panda, Nessy . . . the list is too long . . . but thank you all for the great company throughout the year that made collecting so more enjoyable that doing it alone.

So . . . on to another year of hoarding! 👍 And don't upset the babies. :) They can only stand so much before the bawling begins.

Harry.

Thank you & happy new year to you too, @photonrider 👍 My new year's resolution is to quit spending money on 1/64 cars, also to stop bragging. It's the new year's resolution, so I don't see how I could fail this time. Wish me luck.

Roaring into 2015!!!
I'm not familiar with them, but it's Godzilla, it's vintage Japan monster something-something, so it gotta be a cool!

I take it that you are getting ready to take photos of the actual models? Because if not, you better......

:P

Good Luck a6m5 on stopping not collecting and starting to collect - you will probably find a lot less cars than you were looking for!
I'll keep my eyes crossed.

But that's exactly what this thread is about essentially.

That is actually the raddest thing I've seen all day. Many thanks for doing research on it Ken.

And a happu nu yeer to you as well, my Harry friend! jokes.

When I got serious about Hot Wheels in 2012, 2013 had been devoted to collecting as many Hot Wheels as I needed to complete each casting. By 2014, most of it was completed so the rate of Hot Wheels gains began to come to an inevitable decline. Because of the hunting addiction, I found myself seeking other brands to get my hands into. 2014 had been largely invested into Kyoshos and CM's. It also marks the beginning of Minichamps.

What's in store for 2015? Based on previous record, I forsee Hot Wheels and Matchbox gains still coming in albeit at a very low consistent rate. Kyosho's definitely not going to peak like it did before, especially if Bburago really did buy out Kyosho's Ferraris. CM's will be a rare one considering how little left there is to find. Will I be expecting Minichamps? Maybe. If I see deals as good as I did a month ago that is.

You gotta slow down. Imma have heart attack!

It was the end of the year. It feels so good there's no cars stacking up on my desk waiting for photos and knowing there aren't any cars on my blog that I haven't yet shared. It's all clear again!

Last post for the year.

TLV Hory Grail.

I will wrap this up with the last item I received in the mail (coincidentally, that was today! Last day of the year!).

Lotus%2BExige%2BSuperfast_1.jpg

2008 Superfast Series.
The very last Matchbox Exige missing from my collection.
 It's complete! Hurray!

Goddammit, AOS, first time of the year I see this thread and you're already causing me to have jealousy attacks. Have you no shame, posting those magnificient Skylines!? :dopey:

But yeah, they look gracious, best police cars ever (shoot me, I like Skylines). Man, this desire of owning a TLV won't go away, especially if you guys keep posting pictures of them... :nervous: Oh well. Happy New Year to all people in this thread, sorry I can't contribute much with pictures, but finding a 1:64 that I like is difficult these days, I always tend to buy bigger stuff. :)
