Apparently, it said S%@^ magnet on my forehead. In just last couple of days, stuff I've ran into:

TTP 1 - Seller advertise "entire" inventory on sale. I order it, invoice does not reflect the discount(another item was shorted discount). At the end of this novel of listing he created, it says "excludes Drag Bus". So much for the entire inventory going on sale. He asked me to pay for the relisting fee when I asked to cancel it. It looked like a dumb 🤬 move to pull on a repeat customer, but I paid it. I won't buy from him again.

eBay - This is the international eBay item forwarder company. I requested cancellation, because they will hold you accountable if "they" break or lose the item. No response. Few days later, payment arrives. I tell them that I will send it under the assumption that they understand where I stand(won't be held accountable for loss/damage once they ship it overseas). Couple days after they received the package, now they move forward with the cancellation that I initiated & they declined to go along with(instead choosing to pay). I'm not sure if they are incompetent dimwits, or if they are trying blatantly rip me off.

Plamoya - They got one of those TLV tankers back in stock, so I snag it for $68-ish. Score....... Little over a week later, they claim so sorry, out of stock. Yeah, I call B.S. on that.

TTP 2 - Some dude with broken English buys item, then emails me asking me to send to a different(Non-PayPal confirmed) address. I tell him absolutely not, but we go back & forth. We finally agree to cancel the transaction(I didn't ask this idiot to pay for my relisting fee). This morning, I get a email from Paul who owns TTP. He says this guy pulled this on whole bunch other sellers. Apparently a identify theft scam.

I'm so sick of this #%@$ right now. Just collectors/sellers with poor character to downright criminal behavior.

On a lighter note(still crappy), I saw the Star Wars C3PO/R2D2 sets at TRU on the way home. While I certainly like them lot better than other Star Wars cars, I didn't like them enough to grab a set. I had decided on grabbing the Black Bandit AMC AMX police car, but that top police light was bent like it was outsourced to M2, so I was 0-for-2 today. I did pick up 5 packages at the post office though(probably all broken with the pieces forming a middle finger). The End.
Too much Playart talk lately, too few pics to follow it.
The doors. So money.
I didn't even care for it, but I ended up ordering the Hachiroku/Corolla Super TH over the weekend. It was just too cheap to pass up. Supra looks like a must-have for me. Same with the Field of Dreams. I wanna watch it again!

^ What a poop streak indeed. I feel you on that, though what you're going through is probably worse than what I had last December. :(

I hope you at least tried to reason with the TTP1 seller, because giving in so easily just boosts his confidence in enforcing a relisting fee. Did the listings specifically state the Drag Buses were not included? If not, I think you should've at least made him aware of that, because it wouldn't have been your problem about canceling.

So you sent the item out before getting a response on the cancellation? What if the staff wasn't responding to them in time? What does this cancellation mean now that the courier service has already been completed?

Plamoya. While you don't get something, at least you didn't lose something in the end!

TTP2: Identity theft. Good thing you declined that person. I'm currently taking a course on frauds, scams and ID theft. Sucks for that person to have their bank/paypal account accessed illegally.

Yeah, it's right up there.

He did note Drag Bus. What I didn't like was how long the listing was(a phone book), and that he had advertised "entire" inventory on sale. I kinda saw that one as 50/50 fault. I did hint that, but it's just easier to pay him & block his listing on TTP.

Few days had passed & the buyer never responded. Two messages, no response. Their eBay ID is jenkinswoo. Company name is Bidbuy Inc, located in 7050 Village Dr, #F-100, Buena Park, CA 90621 2277. I post this not to be a jerk, but as a warning to other eBay sellers. They can find this stuff on Google & know that this seller knowing, or unknowingly can stab you in the back.

They actually gave me 300 yen coupon. With it, I plan on buying certain TLV Bluebird Spaceboat's been bugging me to get. :P

I hope this mother gets hit by a bus. Let me quote one of his sick little games. *takes off to hotmail*

"
I hope you can help me here to ship my packages to livian's address.
>> And if you can help me, I need one more help here.
>> Due this is a gift for my cousin.
>> Please send as a gift if you can help me, and write " Congratulation
>
>> bro.. this is my promise "
>> Thank you and hope I can hear a good news from you.
>>
>> Best Regards,
>>
>> Nico Resa"

What a sick mother trucker. :yuck:

I'm glad you shared that story. Naive me probably would've just walked right into something like that. Guess what we can take from that is to work only with confirmed/verified addresses.

According to the book I'm reading, identity thefts don't have huge consequences tied to them for some dumb reason. There was some dude n a neighbouring province that conned his hometown connections (friends, friends of friends, and even family members) over the course of 27 years, sat in jail for 2 and still has money to live an easy life.

Few of the cars I received today:

Racing Champions '64 Chevy Impala Frohna, MO Police(Issue #84)

Johnny Lightning '67 Plymouth Fury Demolition Car

Hot Wheels Super Chromes Ice Cream Truck

M2 Auto Projects '57 Chevy with Rust

Now in the correct thread:

I've put off buying the TLV Datsun 510's because they have 4 doors. It appears others felt the same way and so TLV is bringing the awesome sauce.
@jtl46 - Yes on the police cars. It says Cedrics are included. Two patrol cars & one unpainted(or plain).

P.S. Beat you guys by a page or two on both the Ladybird & the Bluebird coupe. :P

Seems your thick-plastic blister cutting pic-sharing posts are putting the pressure on me to cut open my 1 of 3000 Black Bandits.

:(

Some of these, I gambled on & clearly, it didn't pay off. :(

Blackbox/100% 1967 Shelby GT500

Lamborghini Miura

Chevy Camaro(actually a Heavy Chevy, which I hate :yuck: )

Porsche 917K

Most of my Black Bandits are open. Then again, I got them dirt cheap "loose" as well. :P
Yeeeeeah.
👍

Some of my favorite Johnny Lighting cars are '67 Furys. Sweet casting!

Yeah, old news. :P :sly: Did you end up going for the Tank? Not my thing but still very cool, even more so with the patrol cars included. 👍 Digging the JL Fury Demolition car too. Awesome.

Nah, it doesn't do anything for me. I don't even remember it from the TV series. Besides, it's a little over two bills. I'd buy that car transporter before that thing.

Thank you! I do love JL Furys, so I've been waiting for that one to come along for cheap. :D

Nice 917K. Lights look a bit elongated and a tad rectangular, but whatever. The livery makes up for it.

C'mon. I had to pick a good time to post it, and Tuesday afternoon seemed appropriate. I am considering the tank, mainly for the the three models, but yeah, $250 is steep.
