Damn, that is too cool. Digging the X-Bow in blue too. Great stuff mate 👍

I use these cases to store cars that I take out with me when I go out to play.

You know that the price has quintupled, right?
Hey man, those Hotwheels speed machines in that case are really valuable, i sold some duplicate speed machines that i had recently, a lot of about 26 mint ones on ebay and pulled 220 bucks for them. Not sure if i was lucky but they seem to be pretty desirable. I'm still keeping my other duplicates of the same models, just different color.

Also have a couple speed machines still in packages tucked away in my closet.

Thanks mate. 👍

@Nvrrespected The X-Bow is made by Siku. I did explain/go into detail about it in my original post (previous page), but ended up accidentally deleting what i'd wrote.
Lol! Whoops. Looks like siku might make me order something online for the first time. Does anyone make. An Ariel Atom or Nomad in 1:64?

Since we're talking about lightweight track-day cars, allow me to join:

The weapon of choice for 500 PP Seasonal Time Trials. What I know so far is that Hot Wheels is the only one that made a scale model of the Suzuki GSX/R-4. In my opinion, it is acceptable and I have no choice but to settle for HW if I want to add this in my collection.

(Note: I uploaded the pictures directly, as Flickr is having issues at the moment...)

To be fair, these look quite a lot better than the usual things that HW produce; I may consider getting one of these!

The Lotus 7 would be more apt as being the originator, but Caterham is a good call. 👍

(Wish i still had one of these)

@RCKakashi14 Thanks for reminding me i still have one of those. I genuinely forgot. 👍 That's easily one of my favourite HW's.

@Cano Thanks mate. 👍 Turns out i haven't got clear red and clear orange, just normal. Though i do have a smoke tint, so maybe i'll try that on the lights.
Thanks for suggesting painting the wheels, really glad i did it. 👍

So, I'm planning on selling a lot of carded '90s Hot Wheels and other lots of cars. I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to buy car cases like @photonrider shared above? And is eBay my best bet? Sorry, I'm new to selling.

Because of progressive tech in thermoplastics, Avalonbug, there is an increasing variety of what we would term 'plastic organisers' - so any store that carries compartmentalised containers would have them - from hardware stores to hobby and craft stores. Here, in Canada, and especially in the more cosmopolitan areas, 'Dollar' stores proliferate like dandelions in spring. - and by 'Dollar' I mean stores that usually have the term 'Dollar' in their name: 'Dollarama', 'Everything for a Dollar', 'DollarParty', etc, and these stores usually would have entire aisles devoted to these sort of storage containers.
Buying them online would cost you more - look for a brick-and-mortar establishment close to you that will have several such cases in your hands for less then $10.00.

I don't need them for selling, I just want some in general. My apologies, I should have clarified.

No need for apologies or clarification in my case - I understood you perfectly having realised the latter part of your post came from a different angle than the former. The cases I showed will hold packages - upto three long cards, though you can store more if you are storing short cards.

For better storing and portability of packages I use boxes:

As you can see from this box that contains only First Editions it holds a lot, runs deep, and keeps the packages free from dust and crushing.

This also means getting to a car you want is quite easy. I usually have each layer in a separate tray - this one hasn't got that treatment yet, still quite easy to find a car I'm looking for:

Good luck with your endeavour!

I posted a huge bunch of Speed Machines in here about four years ago; I like the additional tampos and the wheels are fast! I still have many in packages. I traded an Audi once for a Kyosho (with a member in here once) but the Kyosho never arrived - it was stolen in transit. He did get the Audi, though. :D

Truth, but the catarham is my preferred vehicle. Lol

Do you own one? Its pretty awesome.

Lol, dude, that one's mine. If I post pictures of it, it's mine unless I state otherwise. So yeah I own one (:

Are those rear wheels even the right size?

 yeah, I know. They're small, but the car is 100% original and mint. I'm not into batmobiles at all, but this one was cool enough and in good enough of a shape to keep.

Lol. I was just checking. And I think the rear wheels look right, looking up pictures of it. It had a lot of rubber.

I know one thing, once a Speed machine loses it's case it takes off a 60% of the value, unless it's the Mclaren or Porsche GT1.

What is that? Well wait obviously it's a batmobile but I mean for what release,Orr who is releasing etc

Double the fun in the Monster Duo Series:

But when it comes to Monsters nothing more delicious than a dose of Maximum Destruction:

I'm not sure about the exact figure but judging from the collection you've displayed here through the years I would take your word for it. :)

The only way to get around that is to have your cake and eat it. :dopey:
