This is what I want to add:

Made by a company called "Oversteer" and they are quite good quality. Better than Kyosho I would say but not quite TLV. :)

I've seen quite a bit of their stuff on AmiAmi. A lot of Mazda's. Can't remember if they had a model of the current gen Mazda 6 wagon... Do they?

Don't think so. I have seen the Axela (Mazda3) sedan and hatchback, MX5 (NC) and the CX-5 SUV plus this Demio which comes out soon in a ton of colors. (obviously soul red is best :P)

They also have other makes, Toyota GT86 and I think they are coming out with a Nismo GT-R later this year.

So I just found out that this little truck:

Could be worth over $500 with the metal wheels and gold trim.

Although mine might be worth a little less given it isn't quite mint, but hey, I only paid $17 for it. 👍

Not sure how trustworthy the site is, but that's pretty cool. :dopey:

I could have made quite a long post on that - but it would have been buried in a day; suffice to say that the one that is valuable is the one with the Esso tampos.
The one you have is also valuable in its own right - and will only increase in value as time goes on. 👍

Searching through those bins is horrible.
It also damages the packages and sends the staff whispering into corners let alone the security in the Surveillance room. :) As for what the merchandising mgr thinks . . .

M2 1955 Dodge Royal Lancer -
This is so gorgeous. Lovely purple, and it screams 50s style. The hood opens as well, but has no engine detailing. Just black.

I may have seen that car just once here before - either a6m5 or the Panda. You're picking up some good stuff, I see . . .

if anyone knew about a matchbox RS200, they would've easily marked it $4-5 even in that condition, even if it really shouldn't have been that much, but that's just how popular the RS200 is.

Yeah, it usually goes for between 3.00 and 5.00 plus shipping of course. The CM is around 40:00

I'm following in the footsteps of you and Kakashi (fancy layouts) :dopey::

Yes, all of my yes. The Oversteer Mazdas may not be quite TLV quality, but that's a minor issue when their detail comes at a cheaper price that most Kyoshos. And the parts aren't just stickers, they're photo-detailed parts on the car. You know, the badges.

I use these cases to store cars that I take out with me when I go out to play.

If they have track sets, it's war. :)

They all have the Esso decals. The really valuable one is a bit larger, about a cm longer than mine.

You're probably talking about the 11b then - that can go anywhere from $300 - $500. What I had in mind was the 11a, the one with the decals on the side:

In any case, even owning a more common 11 is something any core MBX collector would want. 👍

@AOS- I'm luckier than you - my wheels have got cars attached to them. :sly:

I find these cases really handy (though not too rugged) but serves the purpose when it comes to portability and keeping the cars fairly intact. These cars are handled, and actually raced, though some are purely for handling (cars that are not as fast as say the P4 or Tooligan, but are just beautifully well-made. Premium cars - unless they are JLs with WLs fitted - are no match for most HW cars.

One of the buyers from my recent eBay items left negative feedback because I was "slow to ship". The guy even asked me, while I was at work, if I was shipping his items out within minutes of the auction ending (Wednesday evening). I explained that they would not ship until Friday morning due to my work schedule, and that that was within my listed 2-day processing time. Despite the fact that my printer stopped working and I couldn't print labels from home, I was still able to get them packed up and taken to the post office on my lunch break and get them out on Friday around 11:30am. Still within the 2-day processing time.

I reported him for it because I do not believe I deserve my perfect 100% 400+ rating to be tarnished when I was still within the processing time. Unacceptable.

Wow. I think it's safe to say this: what a scumbag.

Let's hope he doesn't tack on the "Where is my package" final act, otherwise you know somebody's gettin' their tires slashed. :embarrassed:

He even over paid for shipping and I refunded him the extra amount.
Wait a minute. So you:

Posted that it'll take about two to send and receive
Refunded the extra shipping money he sent you
And still sent it out within the two days

And he still left bad feedback? Wow. Grade A scumbag.

I messaged him and he just got back to me with this:

"My apologies I got you mixed up with a different seller is there anyway I can change the feedback??"

I had to do some digging and figured out how to send a feedback revision request to him. So it should be taken care of. I think he just feels bad and wants to back track on the feedback he left rather than it being an accident...

Humanity restored.

So, I'm planning on selling a lot of carded '90s Hot Wheels and other lots of cars. I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to buy car cases like @photonrider shared above? And is eBay my best bet? Sorry, I'm new to selling.

If you are trying to sell carded cars, I'm not sure why you want the cases he showed. Why do you need them for selling?

I don't need them for selling, I just want some in general. My apologies, I should have clarified.

The one photonrider posted is a storage case for hardware.

You can grab yourself large ones at your local hardware store. Personally, I would just go with totes as you can contain way more cars per volume. If its the 1-layer stack of cars and the organization of the grid that has your fancy, you can add your own upgrades to your tote to maximize capacity while still keeping a way to access any car problem-free.
