That was a good show. Hulu's awesome though. All the good stuff Netflix lost, I found them on Hulu. If you like good TV series, Netflix has tons, but Hulu seems to have as much exclusives, if not more.

So essentially Netflix has good shows that eventually get moved on to Hulu plus a couple of more exclusives? Well, if I ever sign up for any of these services, sounds like Hulu is the go-to winner...

I carry a pocket knife. That's it.

Ha, that's a good one. I bet by "pocket knife" you mean a "kodaichi" or something similar... You ain't fooling me! :P

Well, so much for German gun reliability... I guess they don't make them like they make Mercedes. But it's a good thing that you didn't get fatally wounded, gun explosions are one of the scariest things a gun can do to its owner. Great risk of injuring yourself as well as bystanders... Wouldn't want my worst enemy to go through that.

Cable is a scam. If you are paying for it, there shouldn't be any commercials. As far as I'm concerned, everybody on Earth should cancel cable TV today.

#aggroopinion

I kid, I kid. But damm, that's quite blunt, Inspector! Not a fan of commercials? I mean some are pretty bad, but not all channels go overboard with them...

I don't have either but Hulu wins because of a certain show.

Now why am I not surprised...? Your first (and main) love, as your Twitter feed so quaintly showcases... :sly:
But hey, nothing against that, Seinfield is well and truly awesome, I should do more than watch a few loose episodes on the cable TV Inspector Bonsai jii-san dislikes so much... :P

He makes the Terminator look like C3PO. :scared:

No, he makes the Terminator look like a Haro (gotta keep the Japanese references, you know). And that's no mean feat!

Hey, what could be better than a goat themed prairie? Nothing in my book. :dopey: 👍

Maybe a BRE-themed Prairie, or a Calsonic one. But hey, a goat-themed Prairie ranks pretty high on the list regardless! :sly:

:grumpy:

They don't have to pay me in cash. I'll happily take model cars are payment. :embarrassed: :dopey:

Do you accept knockoff models? Asking out of curiosity, that's all... ;) :dopey:

NSX first! Please!!

I did a great job at making this NSX look tall and chubby this time:

Netflix has lot of great original shows, Hulu has great stuff not available on Netflix. You can get both, or have one for while & switch to the other subscription when the time comes!
Ha, that's a good one. I bet by "pocket knife" you mean a "kodaichi" or something similar... You ain't fooling me! :P
No, you have to be an American Citizen to carry firearms in the U.S. I can't believe they actually allow me to own them, so I'm not complaining.

It's the scariest of feelings, but it was actually overcharged ammo, not the gun. :dopey:

I actually love Seinfeld. It's one of my all-time favorite sitcoms, except Everybody Loves Raymond was the better show. It's a fact, right Jarrodo?
Maybe a BRE-themed Prairie
I would buy that. I am a tool.
I did a great job at making this NSX look tall and chubby this time:
Maybe ever so slightly, I think it looks fine. Model itself looks amazing, if it was the typical Kyosho pricing. Was it under $10 in Japanese MSRP(1,000 yen), or did they go over that? I'm sure you paid closer to $20 or more by the time it got to you, right?

The reason you still think it's awesome is because you haven't seen that yet.
I know, I know. I already told Jarrod, I'm not expecting anything at all from those two episodes. It's just a closure I missed out years ago when they originally aired, then missed them again when Netflix lost them! :ouch:

Also, I have a lot of surplus cash around at the moment... What models should I go for? I'm desperately craving some new metal lol.

I'm probably the wrong guy to ask. :dopey:

Whatever you decide on, I'm sure it'll be good. 👍
Now why am I not surprised...? Your first (and main) love, as your Twitter feed so quaintly showcases... :sly:

Oh yes, apologies for that. I do tend to go a bit overboard with the Seinfeld quotes and references, sometimes, er, I mean constantly.

TomyTec official liked my tweet last night.

Goat Prairie confirmed now, right? :embarrassed:

I should've known you were going to suggest that vehicle...
Anyway, I purchased 2 Audi R18 E-tron's (one for me, one for my dad) by Spark in 1:64 on the 2nd of August, but it hasn't been sent. You know why? The seller hasn't received them from his supplier. What makes things worse is that he said this 21 days ago, which is longer than the estimated time he provided of 15-20 days. If they aren't sent by Friday I will be quite pissed off, because one car was for my dad's birthday - which was last Wednesday.
Here's my question though: Why list an item if you can't send it within 48 hours? Why hasn't eBay cracked down on this? I feel terrible because they should've arrived last week. I will contact eBay if they aren't sent by Friday. Really, it's just appalling to have to deal with this s***

Oh that Sunny is lovely. How old is that casting? Because I've never seen it before...
That aside, the quality is very nice. The period Watanabes, the green/red combo, everything is done in a very good way. My only complain is that stripe. I'm sure that's how the real thing looks, but I just wish it would go all the way on the side of the car. Either that or at least curve upwards and follow the C-pillar's line... Probably just my OCD being silly, but those are my five cents.

Unusual to see an answer in spoiler tags from you, but I guess the number of off-topic responses would clutter the thread somewhat. Alright, let's answer in kind;

Personally, I like the "best of both worlds" approach. But then again, money is scarce... Since I dig watching old stuff that's older than me (my television tastes are that sensical :dopey:), perhaps Hulu would cater better to my tastes. However, I also like to watch unique things, so Netflix is also alluring. I can see why Americans struggle with this service stuff, haha.

Well maybe they think your love for guns has transformed you into an American citizen, so they don't have a problem with allowing you to own them. Or maybe they're aware of how strict gun laws are in Japan and they're doing that out of pity... American laws are weird, dude.

Fair enough, but it was the gun that went "boom" into a thousand pieces and not the ammo, right? I mean you didn't get lead all over your hands, but you did get a fair share of steel and other metals... :dopey:

Damm, Inspector Bonsai back at it with the #strongopinions! Well I've watched a bit of both, so I can safely say Police Squad is the better show. Now that is a life fact, right Shinji-jiisan? :sly:

I would buy that. I am a tool.

But that would make you a smart tool, you see. Anyone who doesn't like BRE Nissans/Datsuns would be gifted a free doctor's appointment from me, just to be sure that their heads are in shape... :sly:

Oh yes, apologies for that. I do tend to go a bit overboard with the Seinfeld quotes and references, sometimes, er, I mean constantly.

Oh well, at least we're talking about timeless quotes that can suit any era, whether that era is after, during or before Seinfeld was broadcasted. They're that good, what can I say? Makes sense that you use them "sometimes" (cough)... :P

Goat Prairie confirmed now, right? :embarrassed:

Well if they don't release a new BRE Prairie just based on your love for it (and on the fact that you're an Aussie Goat), Japan will be branded as "evil" as far as scale model production and demand catering goes... :irked:

My only complain is that stripe.
I agree, but I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it. Model is several years old, as Tomica Limited's been discontinued for that long.

Thank god for the shooting gloves.

Is that Portuguese for Everybody Loves Raymond?

Ah, I see, thanks for clarifying. But that's really the only knock I can give to the model, everything else from detailing to shape looks pretty darn good. Shame TL wasn't allowed to continue existing, but I guess its role now belongs to the Tomica Premium models...

Thank god for the shooting gloves.

Quite. Safety is paramount to using a gun, and it was a good thing that you already understood that by the time you shot the gun...

Is that Portuguese for Everybody Loves Raymond?

I'm afraid not, Inspector. You can be liberal with translations, but not that liberal... :P

Yeah, exactly. It was discontinued, then replaced by Premium. It's all good.

Could this be the most redundant model, of all time? GL Black Bandit XB Falcon.

I do have a one track mind. :dopey:
Why list an item if you can't send it within 48 hours?

I'm with you. I can sort of understand sellers who offer pre-orders because dealing with their distributors, there might delays and whatnot. That does sound a bit shady though. If nothing happens by Friday, hopefully you can get your money back, at the very least.

Timeless is right. There's a Seinfeld quote or reference for any occasion!
Well if they don't release a new BRE Prairie just based on your love for it

As long as it isn't doesn't have a Gulf oil livery (It's so overdone these days). I'll take anything.

It wasn't listed as a pre-order and that bugs me. If it was, I probably wouldn't have even bothered with the sale. So I'm annoyed.

Like Guile's theme song, Seinfeld quotes go with everything. The Swiss army knife of comedy!

But what if the BRE livery becomes overdone itself? Can we still love it if that happens...? Or will we despite it for once being awesome but now be nothing but an overplayed color scheme? Serious questions, man...

It's basically the Interceptor with matte paint and minus the decals on the front guards. What's the point?
And they painted almost the whole thing. It looks stupid with a black exhaust.

I've decided to stop collecting for a while. Not just to focus on selling but to just to all out stop. I have some other more important things to worry about right now so I don't know when or if I'll dive back into it. But I'll probably still be here regardless.

Whatever it is, i hope you get it sorted quickly. Good luck man.

Are Tomica Premium models true to scale like its Tomica Limited Vintage counterparts? If so, would explain being smaller than Hot Wheels, since Hot Wheels are not to scale at all.

They vary. The R30 is 1/63, other ones are 1/55, etc.

2018 A Case incoming...

Someone on Youtube did an unboxing already. It was mixed with some Q case. That NSX though.

Yeah, I assumed it wasn't a pre-order because those Spark's were released back in July? That's why I though it sounded a bit shady. Assuming too, that they still haven't been shipped yet?
The Swiss army knife of comedy!

Seinfeld and The Simpsons! (at least for the first dozen seasons or so).
But what if the BRE livery becomes overdone itself? Can we still love it if that happens...?

Well, if anyone can make people bored of the BRE livery. It's Greenlight. They're the experts of milking a castings and themes.

Same thing for the mainline Tomica's too. They're all over the place scale wise.

Latest additions.

Wasn't too sure about this one after I ordered it. Luckily it looks great in person, especially the colour.
