The cards are out
*angel chorus*
I'm not seeing it.
Take that back Sonyboy!!

They are identical twins!
Sweet Renault, though. The white rims and retro-inspired paintjob really set it apart from the HWs I usually see... đź‘Ť
I'd love to see a RLC release on that one. With full super expensive detailing. Casting is worthy IMO. đź‘Ť

Does anyone here have any cars from a factory sealed set still carded? Asking because I'm curious to know if the logo that indicates it's such a car is printed on the card or is just a sticker.

If it's just a sticker I don't think it'd be too hard for someone to make them and put them on random cars in hopes of making more money from selling it under a false listing or false details.

The Red Line Club, right? From what I see of their exclusive releases, it would definitely make for a very cool Renault. I wonder what would have to be done for the 5 to get an RLC casting...

Someone should pitch that idea to an Amine production company. Pokemon eat your heart out!

Yokai Watch who? It's all about the Goat Watch now! If "goat simulator" videogames can be popular... :sly:

It's a sticker.

Here are some of my least Real Riders and whatever other wheels that aren't mainlines.

MD. I hate these wheels and I think they ruin every car they use them on. So many good looking castings out there ruined by these ugly wheels it's kind of depressing. (the Boulevard series comes to mind) Now I will admit, if they take these wheels and do something with them like add the Batman logo to them, now that is pretty cool! However, unless that is done, I do not like these.

ORRRPrf. One of my least favorite Real Riders out there, not sure if I dislike these more or MD's. Every casting I see with these I think would look better with just about any of the other Real Riders available. (Besides MD's)

RSW. Now these I dislike! I was not a fan of the Cool Classics series and I never was a fan of these wheels either. I generally do not like most wheels that are really big in the center and these are no exception. These are not a set I care to use on customs because in my opinion I just don't think they go good with anything.

Doesn't really make an item worth any more than one without from what I've seen on eBay.

Some sellers do want to make a big stink about it by capitalizing the words, but really it's the exact same product.

Today, I went to Giant and Target to see what they had for HW cars. Giant surprisingly doesn't have any diecasts at all, which is odd because there were always HW bins whenever I went there. Target however had a bunch of cars I was interested in though. đź‘Ť

Note: I managed to get all but one of the modern classics, they didn't have a 190E. Doh!

What case was the silver with black stripe new ford gt road car from? I was only able to find the yellow with black stripe version.

It was in a few cases. I just saw some at my store tonight with a K on the back of the card.
Weird I don’t think my stores got the G case or what ever case it came in. Unless I was late and everyone bought what was in the case. I’m still missing the 2017 Nissan GTR from the first color and the grey one.

I bought the orange GT-R online, but I've found one more in the wild, since. Today, I ran into the white Datsun 620 pickup, but I thought these were the old release? I've yet to see the black one. Along with the white Datsun, I picked up this cool M2 Charger Daytona:

Other than the Engrish box (you can spell "Rally" right but Abarth gets the Engrish treatment?), those Fiats look very nice. Although part of me wished the rims weren't the basic Tomica design, they don't quite suit the boxy old coupe style of the 131. Other than that, they're great castings.
As a Portuguese, the national pride part of myself likes to see the Rally de Portugal numberplate on the Alitalia car... :D:tup:

The tampo printing on the car is the correct spelling. The Engrish spelling makes it more special.

I think Tomica collectors have accepted mainline cars using the same few rim designs. I personally prefer casting quality and accuracy to rims variety. It’s not such a big deal with Tomica collectors as it is with HW collectors

I guess so, it does make for some interesting conversations about language... If anything it assures you that it's a proper Japanese custom model.

And fair enough, I just tend to prefer a bit more coherence between rim and car design. Still, if the casting quality is up to Tomica standards, it's hard to be bothered by rim variety... But it wouldn't fly with a HW car collector, that's for sure. They value good rim choices in unique customs...

I need to find that now holy crap.

I forgot, but I have one of these & it also has Charger Daytona inside(I've never opened it).

It's the non-chase one. Didn't realize it had yellow tires. Why.

I didn't even catch that at first. I saw your tweet asking about my Fiat, but it was glitching out. Yes, it's by CM's!

I really should be permanently done with collecting anything at this point. I had my nose in a peg full of NASCAR cars tonight at Walmart and I overheard a former school bully who I haven't seen or heard any traces of in five years somewhere in the aisle behind me call me a few nasty names. I didn't acknowledge him at all but I've never wanted to sock someone in the mouth so bad before.

I almost bought that and the LCF and Firebird set once or twice before. Haven't seen any of them since the day I first saw them.

As for the yellow wheels I couldn't agree more, although it could possibly be cheaper than changing a color on the body. Oh well. :indiff:

How do you manage to run into all these people at stores? I've run into a handful, but maybe once, twice a year while looking at hot wheels. Heck, I'd go into stores with my buddies & I'LL TELL THEM I'M SWINGING BY HOT WHEELS REAL FAST.

I don't think I ever saw the LCF/Firebird set. Looks nice!

I kinda want to open that Goodyear set now & see how Charger Daytona looks in person. If it was solid yellow, or totally clear(like the chase) I don't think I'd have minded. Maybe I could swap out the tires if it really looks ugly enough. Livery itself looks amazing on that casting.

Well since the fall festival was today, I got to go to the Collectors Antique Mall again! :D I will admit it was a little underwhelming compared to my last visit, but I didn't have much money or time to look around and plus, my mom followed me in there. :ill:

Anyways, here is what I got today. Weirdly they left the original price tags on some of these, now you can see how much they were and how much of a discount I got on them.

Dodge D-50. This was the Dodge I considered buying last time, but I held off and decided to get it later. Now I got it! It's in pretty good shape, axles aren't bent and the tampos aren't too bad. The rear suspension is adjustable as well, just like my brothers Woodie. I love this truck! Price tag says $18, but I got it for $10.
image.jpeg
Beach Patrol. I've passed this thing up for years due to it's bent axles, but since I now I know craft new ones without taking it apart, I finally decided to get it. This truck has probably been there since at least 2014, feels good to finally liberate it from there and bring it home! :) Original price is $8, but I paid $10.
image.jpeg

Okay, reason I paid the prices I did for these was because Jack made a deal with me for both when I asked about the Dodge. He offered 10 for each if I bought both of them together, so I took it. While I may have paid $2 more for the Beach Patrol, I got an $8 discount on the Dodge, so it was worth it to me! :) Now I wonder what I can do about those redlines I posted recently. :mischievous:

'35 Classic Caddy. Just another one I got simply because I liked the color. It's still in good shape too! I only have one other of these in my entire collection. Tag says $7, but Jack gave it to me for $5.
image.jpeg
Semi Fast. This is a childhood favorite of mine I just couldn't pass up especially since it was in fabulous shape! $1
image.jpeg
Unimog. My brother showed me this one last time, but I decided to wait on it and get it later. So I did! My brother has one from his childhood and I wanted one myself, now I finally have one! $1
image.jpeg
CAT Wheel Loader. Like the Unimog above, this was another I passed up last time, but I got it this time. I love this loader and since yellow is my favorite color, it's not hard to imagine why I got it. Man I miss the older version of this one! $1
image.jpeg
Peugeot 405. This is one my brother got at Kit Kringle years ago that I have wanted ever since. Now I don't have to be jealous of him anymore. Sometimes simpler castings are better and this is one of them for me. $1
image.jpeg
Porsche 930. Got it because I liked the way the wheels stood out in contrast to the paint job. Been a long time since I got another one of these. $1
image.jpeg

Of course, here is the receipt:

Would have bought more, but I didn't have as much time or money as I usually do when my dad has a day off, but in the end, I like what I got! :)

Probably just my typical dumb stupid luck. I've kinda gotten used to it. :dopey:

Hell crack it open why not. Just don't crack the display case like I do 9.9/10 times.
So are double cards worth anything?
That's a new one. :boggled:
Collectors Antique Mall
Loving the D-50 and Beach Patrol. I haven't seen either of those in person I don't think.

Couple of posts on my blog tonight. This one I hope @Sonygamer455 check out. It's one of the 100% set I was telling you about last week.
