Thanks. What do you think of the chance of Ja mon edition CRX making single mainline release? Should be nearly a certainty, right?
I just wanted to say that first bit because of the colours.
I'm going to quote Cano & say "go to hell".
Ooh, that purple.

Guessing the chances of finding one in the wild is slim and/or none.
Oh, I've yet to see any, but I'm sure I'll run into countless R33s in the near future. It's the Hot Wheels Skylines, what could possibly go wrong?

I've yet to see any R30's either. JDMs.

Ahhhh blind boxes. What are the chances of getting the cover car?

My favorite part is the Wonder Woman invisible wing.

Edit: eBay's poor & deceiving customer service strikes again!

Seller sent me Christine diorama instead of the Ghostbusters. I get return label, send it back on 11/9. No scan until 11/13 when it says it's in L.A. On 11/14, it says to be delivered, then tracking goes dead.

I finally call eBay on the phone to see what happens now. I kid you not, they gave me a recorded message telling me to work it out with the seller. This is the second time this year eBay has screwed me over. Last dispute, I had to have PayPal solve it for me, because not only didn't eBay help me, they pretended like that they were going to do something about it. Very deceitful & it was hurting my chances of trying to get my money back for something I didn't receive(my blogpost on that ordeal). Unbelievable company. :ouch:

So, I got back a small but vivid partof my childhood. I fully remember having this chinese-made '69 Dodge Charger -Yatming casting- when I was about 4 or 5. I remember playing the hell out of it. I remember putting it in the trunk of my stroller for the trip back home from visiting my cousins, who lived half a block away from us, only to find out that it had fallen off. I remember making my mom getting back onto the street to try and find it. I rememebr crying unconsolably when we did not find it. I remember being green with envy because one of my cousins had it. I remember trying to trade it for nice Hot Wheels -I think I even offered him two or three at one point- to no avail. I remember I never found it again.

Until about a month ago, at one of the stands of the 10th HW Mexico Convention. I just couldn't believe it. There it was, in mostly excellent condition, exact same colors. $3 bucks. I have never spent a better three bucks in my entire life.

Yes, the car is freaking cheap and badly done and omg those colors. It's also one of the biggest throw backs to my early childhood, at the time that dictated that I'd be hooked with these things for ever and ever. Find of the year for me.

PM me!

Physically, it might be just one more minicar, but a special buy like this, it's a totally different kind of purchase at the same time. Very cool. 👍
I thought that they were releasing this R34 with the new wheels. It looked so perfect!
I’m thinking USPS lose many packages this time of the year.

And I am believing that eBay should never have existed. We’d probably have fewer grey stress hairs, and definately more money in the pocket
It keeps the world going around.👍

Have you tried contacting USPS? I think they're the party you can go after to get confirmation whether the package actually got delivered to its destination. Then you can go to eBay or PayPal and deliver the evidence that the seller received the item and isn't fulfilling their end of the deal, because with a tracking update like that, eBay/Paypal can simply just fall back on this and take no action.

That's not right at all, man. eBay has been a letdown. Seller maintained that they hadn't received the return & I have no reason to not believe them. We've had language barrier related communication issue, but they've been straight with me. I did PM the seller last night, and I asked that I either get a refund, or replacement shipped to me at this point. Seller agreed to send me a replacement.

If I get another Christine set, I will beat someone's 🤬 j/k

It's obviously too late now, but that's a lot thicker than I think it needs to be. 1/8" should be thick enough with that size, especially if you bond the shelves to the backboard.

But that aside, clean job so far. Do you have access to a table saw or something?

Edit: Finally found this today.

I was picking up lunch & wasn't expecting anything, but there it was. I'm not a fan though. It's not as fugly as the Skyline, ,but to me, this truck is odd looking. Average at very best for me. *shrug*

Now that you mention it, but it's better than the other way around. :D
I was just wondering if the pic was yours. I was of the impression that these Kenmeris were still weeks out.
Oh hey. This thread is on the verge of 50 thousand posts. Well done everyone. @SVX

Oh I wish. Hacked that thing up with a rotary tool like a savage. I do have access to a bench sander though so I was able to smooth off the jagged edges relatively easily.

@a6m5 yeah the pic's mine. The Kenmeris are my bud's, he just got them, i asked him if i can get one and he said he'll see what he can do. He won't tell me how he got them :irked:

Gotta be a part of the 50k post page so here is a recent haul I got off some Facebook group. Yeah they're all basically project cars, but there is some really rare stuff in here, specially the Playart Barracuda and Husky Thames van. Been chasing those for a while.
Also, finally a Baja Bruiser in decent shape. now to find the rest of the color variations :/

Edit: now that I see the pic, there are actually more decent cars there than project cars, but the project cars are the coolest of the bunch lol
