Shipping internationally from North America is one of the most expensive from what I've seen. I have it more worse than y'all. Be grateful you can still get domestic shipping under 2 digits.

I have zero qualification in business & 100% ignorant on economy, but I always thought government should make international postage affordable. This day & age of ecommerce, in theory, cheap international postage should enable small businesses to bring more foreign currencies into the country. Guerrilla exporting.

Walked in to Walmart tonight to some newish cars. Only one of these hanging which was one more than I expected.

Went to a Walmart found a red e case repu, the. Stopped at a Meijer and saw a set of green light Ford Gt Heritage cars. Bought the red and black one since those were realistic colors and I’ve seen both in person. Only ones besides the other colors that were on the pegs.

Didn’t know the heritage set was out. Both real GTs were in Detroit black one was at M1s cars and coffee in Pontiac Mi.

Where were we, again . . ?

There has to be a harsher word than this for you lot.
Alright, so some pages later, (later alone posts):

I had one of those many moons ago. And also a hot pink one.

What happened to them? Still have? Sold?
I know that while you show off a lot of Hot Wheels you don't really have too large a collection as the one you had. Do you still hold on to any model and collect the variations?
As for the '34 . . . I have all sorts of them:

Yep. $60usd standard international post

I bought the RLC membership and my shipping address was to HK. But during the checkout it would only let me select US shipping rates, which came to USD9.95. I could still checkout and my order was complete successfully. However, although I got the confirmation email my order never appeared in my order history. After contacting customer services they cancelled the RLC membership because the shipping fee was for US shipping, even though it never let me choose!

Anyway, I bought another RLC membership and used a US courier forwarding company. The shipping fee is USD9.95, and the order is in my order history.

Maybe you can use one of these services? Mattel must have been smoking it when they decided to charge a flat rate USD60 for international shipping.

You could arguably work with one of the GTP dudes here (yes, in this thread) for lower rates so you both win a little. Just a thought.

A GTP member has helped me out before. However I wouldn’t want to constantly inconvenient someone to ship me something. And those forwarding couriers offer better international shipping rates than USPS can ever do.

Jokes. Does it state what the pick up time is in that email or site or wherever?
Not in the email, or order page. While browsing on their website looking for it, their page said that hours will be in the email. LIES.

Funny thing just happened. Lamley posted about the newest Auto World exclusives. I commented that mine were on the way right now and not 30 seconds later my phone went off with an email saying they were delivered. :embarrassed:

Picked up my K-Day case:

Keepers. I've been really wanting the mainline blue Kenmeri. Advan 240SX(sue me lol) looks lot better than expected. Also keeping the K-Day exclusive Porsche 934 Turbo in gray.

I might keep these, too.

I of course wanted the $uper TH(Gulf Indy car), but the lightning did not strike twice(found NSX $TH my last K-Day). Second car I had hoped to get was the blue Kenmeri. Just one inside, but one's better than none. Third one I really wanted to see in here, but missed out was this:

I'd have to be pretty lucky to find it in stores, but I did find the blue version before..... once.

So just four definite keepers in a $40 case of 36 cars. Two reasons why I ordered it: 1) Chance at a $TH lottery. 2) Mail-in car

I missed out on the $TH, but I did get blue Kenmeri + gray exclusive Porsches. I just need to buy four more mainline cars from Kmart, so I can get total of forty cards & receipts to get two mail-in cars(20 cards for one mail-in car). Not a bad deal. 👍

See that detail?
Looks really good. Who makes it?
Yeah, that's crazy that they didn't give you that information before hand.
If you visit their store, you can kind of almost expect it. Store looks like it's from the 80's? Except they literally have bare shelves, some of the lights not even working, etc. It's like the 80's Kmart, but after zombie apocalypse.

Hello 1/64 scale associates. I want to give you a sneak peak of what I bought today. A 1/64 scale Liberty Works GTR made from resin. Yes, resin. I think I might have caught @AOS- attention here.

See that detail?

Coolio indeed! The scale of the rivets is intimidating.... borderline frightening to some degree.

So just four definite keepers in a $40 case of 36 cars.

Do you have any remainders you are willing to offer up to people here?

Mmhhh... I'm reasonably sure I have most blackwall-era variations of this car, at least the attainable ones -missing stuff like the white wheel real riders black with flames thing- but I don't think I have pictures of them. At least not alone.

Here's a Real Riders one along with the already mentioned spectrapink example:

Here is a... uh, I dont even know, I think it'soff the Garage or Boulevard series.
