Oh. Boring was what you were getting at I see.

Is it the car pose that's boring you or was it the lighting?

Mostly the pose. The car taking up most of the image, centered, 3/4 angle. Like I said, it gets the job done of just showing the car, but that's not very fun.

I like having that standard look for indexing purposes, but I'm with you that it does get boring if that's all you end up shooting from.

Tis is why I do the regular, and I throw in extra angles if the subject works with it.

My collection with the Ranchero.

My collection with the Ranchero.

Nice track - even if it's only stationery. 👍

I like scratching up my cars too - but I have them in cardboard trays that are then stacked up in those bins. Makes for easier access, too.
If they're out of the pack, then it's rolling. By which I mean - it's ready to play.
About how many cars now in total?

About 850. the trays are a smart idea, how much do they cost? Yeah, the McLaren is one of the fastest cars I have. I did a classics racing series last year and the Pontiac Firebird from the HW Flames series won, but I did a couple more races this year and the green 67 mustang looks good too.

A LOT of good stuff there. And I probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than finding those transporters...
Same with me too. I did see more cargo carriers but they were the Ford Transit, none of the other stores in my area have updated their stock recently except for one Walmart that had the H case dump bins.

New stuff!

Kyosho

Alfa Romeo 156 GTA

Ferrari 360 GTC

Porsche 911 GT1

CM's

Peugeot 306 Maxi | 1998 French rally

Interesting mixed batch. The Ferrari 360, which I almost didn't buy is actually my favourite. Or maybe the Alfa, because it also looks great.
The 911 GT1 is pretty disappointing. I thought it'd make a nice pair for the 1998 version I also have, but it looks worse than that one. The front sits too high, the headlights look a bit weird and the casting just doesn't look sharp.
The CM's is pretty good, but sadly it's chipped on the front left side mirror. Front looks a little strange compared to the real car and I can't quite put my finger on why.

We just don’t want to pay more for what they’re worth at stores plus the hunt is fun.
Isn't it cheaper to buy a full set online? Plus the amount of gas accumulated going to stores would make it expensive wouldn't it? But yeah if you love the hunt i guess it's better to find them on the pegs.

Shelby Freakin' Cobra?! :droooooooool:

Just going to throw this out there. If anyone wants to do a group buy on that Circuit Racers set, I'm down to join. A carded set sounds pretty sweet.

Not with shipping and people selling them for more than what they’re worth.

All I want to know is will the wings be level on the Hot Wheels 787B! j/k

I've been waiting for somebody to make that joke.👍

That GReddy transporter looks super cool. Can only imagine what ridiculous prices it will go for online.

Anyone know if that site for the car shows Hot wheels is going to have is up yet? I tried looking for it for the other locations but couldn’t find the site.

I feel like the transporters for the Skylines should have been closer to those weird transporters from Japan with all the lights on them.

Some more Dallas good stuffs, source from Instagram..

Oh boy, this one will certainly be around $100 in my country when it hits local online shops.

Little bit disapointed with the deco (looks more suited to a US muscle car) and wheels on the R32, I was hoping for a more stock appearance for the first run, gunmetal grey or pearl black with dark grey 5 spoke wheels would have been a much better choice for launch.

Also bummed that the S15 is in Forza colours, as a GT fan I kind of feel like a traitor buying it!

That S14 prototype looks smart though, great stance on it, if the R32 is shown as a 2019 model then how long do we think the Silvia will take?!
