So carloverdiecast.com shows the Ignition Model 1/64 GT-R in stock, but even at $38 I was on the fence? With shipping to Oregon coming up at $30(grand total of $68), it was a easy no.

Unfortunately that place does only the fastest of fast shippings. So while you're guaranteed to get something in a week (and chew on taxes), you have no other options.

Edit: @MedigoFlame I forgot to mention some I saw some 1/64 Lexuses on amiami(though I'd prefer their Subie). Two Car-Nel I did own though, I was not impressed with the quality. To me, they looked like shoddy custom of Kyosho castings. My blogpost from 2015 on those cars.

Nice car, but really nice background. I liked the 7-Eleven, too.

I would not pay that amount for postage. Have you tried AmiAmi?

I've yet to see any on there & they never were announced as one of the distributors for 1/64 IGs, so it remains to be seen if we ever see any on amiami.

Saw this series for the first time.

If they had the Porsche, I might have bought it. Walmart doesn't get jack anymore, I don't shop at Kroger or Target, but I had gift card to use at Target today & I saw a VW T1(some Superhero crap on it) & Alfa Giulia Sprint on the pegs, which NEVER happens around here. Still didn't buy any hot wheels, but weird.

I’m taking half day off work right now just to go to the event.

FYI my IG GTR preorder was cancelled. Not enough to go around, but I suspect Tarmac is holding stock for this event.

I just saw it on dabox. It sold out when I had one step, maybe two left on the checkout process. It already took me through the PayPal checkout for the payment, then at the very end, it tried to send me to another payment page, then it prompted that it sold out.

Sorry guys, I was going to be headed this way as soon as I checked mine out.

Took a really long break from collecting 1/64s, totally almost forgot about this thread till I saw some of Kakashi's photos online, and it led me to remembering it. Anyways, picked these up recently, the HW Waves here are really slow.

I was really nervous about whether I would be able to get the Ig cars. With great luck there were a few left when I reached the stall. I would have been angry if I couldn’t get them after waiting three hours in hot humid weather.

How are they? I haven’t opened them yet but they look TLV quality. Not sure if better. TLV GTR’s seem to be sharper casting, but the Ig’s are based on customised GTRs so have more detail. Better than that resin LBWorks I bought a few months ago? No. But that is in a different league.

Where are you? It's not great in my area either(Portland Metro, Oregon).

One thing I miss about Japan(I know, not HK), warm ocean...... What I don't miss, muggy weather.

That Tarmac blue one's the IG I liked the best. Congrats on scoring one.
